Nice hotel. Good location. However if you are going in the warmer months and looking to be comfortable with AC. Don't book. Rooms get too hot and AC doesn't work. We got moved to a different room and AC was working better but it had a leak and bathroom sink was clogged. Hostess are too busy on their phones to acknowledge you. This was my second time staying here. Had a better experience the first time. Will not be recommending. Only good experience was person helping us with our luggage. Attentive and helpful.
This review is long overdue, but we had a truly memorable stay at Cantera Diez Hotel Boutique while visiting family.
From the moment we arrived, we felt at home, which made our time there even more special.
We had a beautiful view of the cathedral and downtown Morelia, and it really added to the experience. The hotel was very clean, the room service was great, and the bartenders were also very kind and welcoming.
One thing we especially appreciated was how accommodating the staff was. We had family over, and the restaurant downstairs was able to help us with last minute reservations, which we were very grateful for.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a place we would absolutely come back to.
Plus, we got early check in and treated us very nicely!
Please take care of your cars when you leave them at this hotel, unfortunately they damaged my car, it seems this happened in the parking where they park the cars and the hotel didn’t responded to the damage. I stayed on weekend of December 5th and 6th 2025. The general manager Moises Gutierrez had the worst attitude and has no manager skills. Days after, the general manager Camila Arriaga wrote me saying that in the cameras it doesn’t show when the car was damaged so they will not assume responsibility for my car. I didn’t lie because my car is new and had no scratches or damage so I was really upset and now I will have to pay for something they did. I am very disappointed with the hotel and how they didn’t assume the responsibility as you are confident that your car will stay safe with them and this is not what happened. Please don’t trust them or be very careful when you give your car to note is without any damages.
Came here with my husband for the first time and we had an incredible experience. Right when we walked in we were given complimentary champagne. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm, charming and luxe. Our room was spotless and the decor was beyond what we imagined. Sheets, toiletries, slippers, robes, etc. were very nice. The staff was attentive, kind, and extremely helpful. Definitely 5 star. Will continue to stay here in the future!!
Great spot, with phenomenal service and attentive staff. The rooms are luxurious and spacious. Great rooftop and centrally located. The hotel is secure and located near many shops and restaurants. i can not say enough about the staff and how great and welcoming they are ! Must stay if you are in town.
