Tour Safari 4x4

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide was super knowledgeable and took us to popular safari stops with other tourists, but also to a few locations that were totally off the beaten track and away from everyone else. This tour includes a drive up magic mountain which is well worth it, a stop at an awesome smoothie shack (we went back 2 more times), pineapple farm visit, seeing an archeological site, and way more. Can’t recommend this enough, absolutely book with this company for a unique experience!

Wonderful excursion to Magic Mountain lookout, the Opunohu valley and the Belvédère. Moorea is an incredibly beautiful island. Wish we had longer here to explore.

This was so worth it. We got to see a lot of the islands diversity, eels you wouldn’t believe, a pineapple plantation and a wild ride up the mountain. Oh boy!

We loved this excursion and tour. Our host was quiet, but very knowledgeable when he did share. He took us to some great places, and then gave us history and information about each. Most areas definitely needed the 4x4, and the ending was phenomenal. The ride up was bumpy, hang on tight! There is some moderate hiking involved, not bad at all until right at end. You also have to be able to get in and out of the truck bed by steps. Some physical needs required for sure. You will want to be able to see the views though, make sure you can get up there, it is well worth it! Highly recommend!

Relaxed trip, enjoyed learning some of the history of Moorea. Liked the pineapple factory bar. Feeding Puhi a highlight for us.

The tour never came because Trip Advisor NEVER sent a notification to them!!!! We ended up with a different tour who had cancelations. Last tour booked with Trip Advisor!!!

Fantastic tour. Saw some amazing views and went to places we would not have driven ourselves. Our tour guide Tapu was great and a very good driver too.

Fun, easy to see the heavenly sites. And we great guide. But bring mosquito repellent! Beautiful way to spend an afternoon in Moorea!

Nice way to spend the day. The viewpoint from the magic mountain was great as was the juice from the shop at the bottom. Well worth the money.

We wish we would have taken this excursion on day 2 instead of day 5. We were shown a wonderful overview of Moorea, Our driver and guide, TOT, was awesome. He showed such pride in sharing his cultural history with us. The ride up “Magic Mountain” was a hoot and the freshwater eels an unexpected bonus! Let’s not forget the distillery stop! All in all, one of the best ways to spend a half day and get a feel for what Moorea has to offer.

Our guide picked us up exactly when we were told, he was courteous, knowledgeable and provided us with a visually stunning excursion. Circumnavigating the road up to the Magic Mtn. Lookout was no small feat and he handled it like a pro! Overall, the scenery was amazing and the thought of doing this tour on a bus with 30+ other people would not be something we would have enjoyed. There were only 4 of us in the back of the truck, so it was a more personal experience.

We enthusiastically recommend Tour Safari 4x4 with Torea Nui Transports. Booking and communication with the company representative Jean-baptiste was very easy and efficient. We went to places that could not have been accessed with a regular vehicle and were rewarded with astoundingly beautiful views of Moorea. Our driver was also excellent in navigating rustic mountain roads.

It was a great experience and wonderful opportunity to see the island and learn about the culture. I had Stephan that was the tour guide and he was absolutely spectacular. He gave us history of the island and why certain aspects (hibiscus, plants, etc) were so important in knowing why the culture is here in Mo’orea.

Great trip and good value. Brilliant views from the look outs and the tour guide was excellent. No issues at all. We’re good to contact me before the trip to explain where to meet. They also gave me great tips of how to get to the best beaches - basically there is a shuttle at the tender port. 5$ pp each way and runs very regular. I would not have known this before if not for these guys. Highly recommend them.

The ride up Magic Mountain in the back of a pickup was very rough, more than I imagined, so if you have any back issues this will not be a pleasant experience but the view is amazing and the ride down not quite as rough. Remainder of tour is no issue for those with back issues. All the sites were very nice but wish the driver had told us more about each one and the culture

Our driver was not a tour guide. He drove to the location and dropped us off then disappeared. We saw beautiful locations but no commentary.

Great tour and guide. Recommend for all ages. My parents were in their 80's and really enjoyed the ride up the mountains. Fruit tasting at the waterfall and generous tastings at the distillery

There was so much to take in but my guide was friendly and informative, explaining the culture of the island.

Well organized and memorable tour . Pick up and drop off was on time . Tour is only on north side of the island.

Spectacular scenery but we paid more than a couple who just joined at the dock. We paid $75 per person they paid $50

I received a message from the operator to cancel the trip. First the Ferry Service boat was out of order due to engine problems. I tried to request a refund but couldn’t on the Viator website due to a non-refundable status. Please refund the cost.

Had a very good 4x4 trip to 2 fantastic viewpoints (Belvedere & Magid Mountain), a rugged drive through pineapple fields planted in the caldera of the volcano that formed the island and a visit to a sacred sight. Our guide was very informative and helped us understand the culture and lifestyle of Moorea. The 4x4 got rugged at times but was well worth the tour cost.

Tour was awesome. Got to experience areas you can't get to normally. Guide was friendly and informative. You won't regret booking this tour.

This was a great overview of the island and gave us a good idea of places we might want to come back to on our own. Some of the locations could only be reached by 4x4 so glad they were driving.

I swam with lemon sharks, stroked sting rays, saw some amazing coral,had a very good lunch at Bloody Mary’s ( pirates of the Caribbean setting) then toured the island in the safari jeep finding some beautiful photo shots. Could not have been better

Drive in the mountains of Moorea with maügnificent views. Very good Polynesian guide, native of the island. I highly recommend it.

A very nice outing with Virginie, a shocker all terrain that makes us discover his island with passion. A real rewarding exchange.

Our guide Taaroa knows his island well and gives very complete explanations of all that can be found there. The views are magical, the little tour to the factory for the tasting of juice and the tropical garden to see vanilla and taste jam make it impossible to see time pass. We also pass through the pineapple fields and a little detour to say hello to the eels. It was a great ride, and Taaroa is a great guide!

We had the chance to make this tour only my husband and myself. The walk takes us to the most essential places of the island. Our guide (Karen) will take the time to stop at each point to explain everything there is to know about where we are. We also have plenty of time to take all the photos we wanted before heading to the next destination. The 4x4 is comfortable (for a 4x4 of course) and quite suitable for rough terrain. The Magic Mountain, the Belvedere, the Tropical Garden as well as the pineapple plantation were superb places.
