You won't be sad you signed up for this tour. So cool to see such great places around the island and have a guide that you can tell really loves his home. Pierre was the best. We'd do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making it so special Pierre!

Pierre did the right thing from start to finish---from personally calling us to reschedule when the weather was bad--- to providing an upbeat and informative trip full of great history and information about the island of which he is rightly proud. He literally took us off the beaten path and showed us wonderful beaches, terrific tropical forest and a challenging but rewarding trip to a waterfall. He made us a delicious lunch and made sure everybody was having a good time. This trip is highly recommended.
Enjoy Mo’orea Tour was awesome. Pierre showed us some hidden gems while providing us thrills along the way. Magic Mountain was quite a thrilling ride and lunch was delicious
We had a wonderful time on the Enjoy Moorea Day Tour! Pierre was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and his warm personality made the day even more special. His enthusiasm for sharing Moorea helped us appreciate this beautiful island even more. Another highlight was sharing the tour with people from France, Italy, and the US. It was so much fun getting to know one another and enjoying the experience together. A memorable day with great company and a fantastic guide—we highly recommend this tour!
Pierre, the owner of Enjoy Moreena was a great host, very friendly and very helpful. Despite not being able to visit the waterfall because of the weather he made up for it elsewhere.
Saw a YouTube video whilst planning our Tahiti trip and came across Pierre and his tour. Now we are not usually tour type Travellers preferring to do things as independently as possible. However after watching the video I thought this looks like a good time. We weren’t wrong! He texted us a couple days prior to our tour date just letting us know there was a possibility he may have to cancel due to an unexpected staff emergency but that he will keep us informed. We learned after he made sure he would keep his schedule with us and came in to do it on a day he would normally spend with his family. We were also the only people on his tour that day and it felt like a personal guided trip! Everything was perfect and Pierre the best guide you could wish for! 10 out of 10 experience! So happy we decided to do this and it became the best experience we had on our trip to Moorea!!!
Great day with Pierre! My sister and I were joined by six other lovely people from all over the world. Pierre's driving up the switchbacks to the Magic Mountain lookout was very impressive - it's pretty incredible that vehicles can even make some of these turns and navigate the steep incline. Pierre made us a wonderful lunch and provided local beers and what I'm calling "Tahitian Treat", a yummy juice cocktail with rum. We saw some whales frolicking while he prepared our food. We stopped at a lovely shop where the owner provided sample plates of fruit as well as the jams they make. We ended our tour with a hike to the pool where the Afareaitu Valley waterfall spills into. Unfortunately, the combination of not wearing the right shoes as well issues related to aging (bad knees and balance) forced Pierre to strongly suggest that my sister and I stop the climb and meet the rest of the party back at the truck. We appreciated his experience and knowledge of what was still to come on the trail and agreed that we should stop. We are both 60+. Up to the point where we bailed out, the trail was slippery with loose rocks and we traversed two shallow creeks (the younger people hopped over the creek on protruding rocks). Pierre said it was only going to get more slippery and steep as we climbed, plus the walk down would be even more difficult. The younger men in our group were determined to help us get to the top but we deferred to Pierre's knowledge of the trail and limitations of our own bodies and headed back to the truck. Even without being able to participate in this final part of the tour, it was still worth every penny and I would highly recommend it. I strongly suggest wearing tennis shoes, or other good shoes that completely cover your feet and lace tightly.
Pierre of Enjoy Moorea did a lovely job! From focused driver, to knowledgeable guide, and even a talented chef! He was dedicated to showing us the beautiful island he calls home and ensuring we had a fabulous time! We shared lots of laughter, enjoyed picturesque sites, and ate delicious food. What more could you ask for?! Can’t recommend this tour enough! If you get the opportunity, do it!
A fantastic experience! Pierre is the perfect guide. Says enough to enlightened amd then let's the scenery do the rest. We visited some places coaches could never get to and had plenty of time to explore or enjoy the many viewpoints. Pierre supplied an excellent lunch and refreshments at a private beach and we were lucky enough to catch a view of a Balean whale just off shore. High highly recommend this tour and as we arrived by cruise ship it fitted in perfectly.
Pierra was a wonderful tour guide providing a delicious authentic Polynesian meal and amazing sites.
Pierre was an amazing tour guide! He’s lived on the island his whole life and is so incredibly knowledgeable. He loves this job and meeting new people! He made us feel like we’ve been friends our whole life. 10/10 experience.
Very cool knowledgeable guide, many stops with beautiful views! Learned so much about the culture of Moorea. Lunch was amazing at a beautiful spot.
This tour hits every button fro the tallest mountain unto the sea. Our guide was extremely informative, and if you are the type to be engaging, you will get more of a personal touch. It’s what you give, you shall receive. We loved ever minute of our experience.
I found out about this tour through the Land and Sea combo offered when I was booking whale watching with Mo'orea Sea Experience. I was hesitant to book since I like to wander on my own at my own pace, but this was a great break from daily diving and water activities where I really got to learn a lot about Mo'orea and French Polynesia. Our guide, Tama was incredibly knowledgeable! The group I was with had many questions and he was kind, patient and answered us all enthusiastically. He is proud to be from French Polynesia and the amount of information he shared with us was truly appreciated. The stops were beautiful, despite a very windy and cloudy day. He is a safe and cautious driver, the lunch prepared was delicious and in such a peaceful and beautiful setting and the final hike to the waterfall was magnificent. Thank you so much for another incredible day on Mo'orea!
Very well organised trip with a very sympathetic guide who was able to answer every question and took care of the needs of everyone.
This is the best tour ever!!! We had the greatest time a d we saw so much thanks to Pierre!! Moorea is gorgeous little island , so green , so beautiful! Pierre is right - our next vacation will be on Moorea and we wont hesitate to call on him again! Thank you Pierre!!
From the moment we were picked up, our guide, Pierre was awesome. He was warm, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted everyone to have an unforgettable day. We never felt rushed and learned so much about the history, culture, and beauty of Moorea. Every stop was spectacular, but the scenery alone would have been worth the trip. The views from the lookouts were breathtaking, the waterfall was absolutely amazing!! The lunch on the private beach was perfect with fresh tuna, local pastries, tropical fruit, fresh juices, beer & rum punch that were all outstanding. Take this tour…you’re going to love it!
The best island tour of our South Pacific cruise. Pierre was an excellent guide. His transport was near new, and was comfortable despite some very bumpy roads. He took us to all his favourite spots including some not available to other tour companies. The lunch at his private beach was delicious. Very fresh fish, cakes, bread, and lots of fruit. With a free cooking lesson. His personality made the trip fun and informative. Highly recommended. Thanks for a memorable visit to your beautiful island!
An amazing introduction to Moorea for first time visitors and a great way of meeting people as a solo traveller. Tama is extremely knowledgeable and his love for Moorea is so clear to see. Really enjoyed pretty much all of it - from the history lesson of the formation of Moorea, the FWD experience, the food, the break at the beach, the warmth of everyone in the group. I came from Tahiti and took the early Ferry with Tama picking me up and dropping me back off at the same point which was very convenient for me and was a big peace of mind for someone who didn't know the area. Thank you Tama! I want to visit Moorea again because of you.
Wonderful day exploring Mo’orea with Pierre as our guide. Enjoyed the entire day.
The day was wonderful. Pier was so nice and took us to some wonderful places. He made us a delicious lunch that was presented so nicely. It was nice that this is a small group ( 8 people max). It was a great way to see the beautiful island.
The driver was at least 30 minutes late and sent no notice of the delay until 34 minutes after the meeting time. We did not end up going with the trip and asked for the refund but refused.
Pierre was a fantastic guide! We got to learn a lot about the island and saw places other tours don’t go. Would highly recommend!
Do not miss this tour! We were late disembarking the ship (almost 2hrs) and the fabulous team from Enjoy Moorea stayed in contact the whole time. Despite the time, they came back and picked us up! We were so grateful for being able to continue with the tour and had one if the best days on our holiday. the sights, food (just wait) and all the local information and history was amazing. This conpany will not disappoint you and the tour itself will give you an immersion like no other.
So much fun. Pierre was amazing. So many great places WITHOUT other tourists. Lunch was delicious. Definitely book this
We had an amazing time on the tour of Moorea. Tamas was very knowledgeable and explained everything in English and French to accommodate everyone on the tour. The lunch that he prepared was one of my favorite meals on the entire trip (Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora)! Definitely bring bug spray and water shoes. Highly recommend this tour.
We were able to go to beaches, waterfalls and lookout points that we could not have done on our own. Pierre was a great guide.
Great tour and highly recommended
The safari tour on Moorea with Tamas was nothing short of amazing. We were actually the only people on the tour, and we were surprised it wasn’t cancelled. It ended up making the whole experience feel even more personal. Every stop was great. We visited Belvedere Lookout where he shared interesting facts, and we also went to Magic Mountain and stopped for smoothies. Definitely bring cash or a card if you want one since it’s a popular spot for both tourists and locals. What really stood out were the more private stops we didn’t expect. We went to a quiet beach with no one else around, and Tamas let us swim at our own pace while he prepared lunch. The food was excellent, and even as a picky eater, I really enjoyed it. We also hiked to a hidden waterfall that he said not many people know about. The view was incredible and felt like a once in a lifetime experience. I’ve never hiked before, so I was a bit nervous, but we made it. It was definitely a challenge at times, but completely worth it in the end. I’d recommend wearing sneakers with good grip. I was a little underprepared with my Adidas, but it was still manageable. Overall, it was such a special and relaxed experience that I would highly recommend
Pierre was an awesome host. Knows the island very well, and put together an amazing lunch. Took us to a nice, secluded beach for a picnic, hiked to a waterfall, magic mountain overlook, and much more. Well worth the time and Pierre is very relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended this tour!
Excellent tour!! Our guide momo was great!!! Very nice and knowledgeable. The tour included an amazing lunch at a private beach. The 4x 4 ride was fun and a little adventurous. The hike to the waterfall was great. We got caught in a rain storm on the way down which actually made the entire even more magical.
Pierre took us to amazing locations throughout the island, had an amazing lunch on a private beach and a hike up to an incredible waterfall. All along the way he was personable, and fun! Glad we were able to experience this tour with Pierre!!
This was a really good tour. Our guide Pierre took great care of the group. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Moorea
Definitely a MUST! This tour was amazing. Highly recommend. One of the highlights of my first trip to Moorea, from the sight seeing, smoothies, lunch prepared on private beach, etc.
Best excursion with real locals! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our day. Full day of adventure and attention to detail.
Tama was an excellent guide and an even better driver. Felt very safe on some sketchy terrain to/from Magic Mountain. He took us to beautiful lookout points and explained the history and significance of each. Lunch at the private beach spot was truly delicious, and now I need to figure out how to make Poisson Cru Chinois myself! Enjoyed a lovely swim in crystal clear water exploring the coral while lunch was prepared. Unfortunately, it is rainy season, so the skies opened up on us with a tropical downpour when we were half way up the waterfall trail. The trail was already uneven and muddy/slippery and the downpour was only going to make it worse, so we decided to turn back. Really appreciated Tama’s concern for our safety and showing us the safest places for our feet on the way down. If you want an open air tour to places air-conditioned busses can’t go with an authentic local guide, you can’t do better than Tama and Enjoy Moorea tours.
Magic Mountain and Belvedere lookout places were great! However, the vanilla plants greenhouse was very bad. The plants were not maintained and many were dead. The floor was dirty and full of algae. I actually slipped and fell on the floor! The beach place where we had lunch was so ugly. There was hardly any sand, but full of big rocks. None of the guests went swimming. Also, the driver was over half hour LATE. We called and texted the tour operator over 10 times, but no one answered. BAD service!
Amazing tour. Highly recommend. Lunch was excellent. Our tour guide went over and above on whole trip
Toma is amazing. Great tour. So many beautiful parts of the island. We couldn't have done it without him. Thank you so so so much. Perfect memories, perfect day, we even had perfect weather! This was a great way to see and learn about Moorea. We're so grateful we booked this tour! If you're considering it... do it. You won't regret it.
We had a great experience with Pierre for the day. He took us to some of the best sights on Moorea, including a beautiful private beach. The fish he prepared for the group was the best thing we ate on our entire trip. And plenty of rum.
Tmama was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about àll the places we went. Was able to answer all our wuestions. However he had to cut our tour short due to rain. We didn't get to have lunch nor see the waterfalls. Also told we would get 50% refund back, that was 5 days ago and we don't have anything yet!
We had an excellent guide (Tama) who took us to places off the beaten path. The scenery was fantastic and Tama was very personable.
We really did enjoy Moorea with this tour! Saw some amazing views, especially on the Magic Mountain. Even though we did not have the best weather that day, we went to all but one site. We felt like we had enough time at each site and we did not feel rushed at all. Because of the rain we could not go to the waterfall, so instead our guide Pierre took us to different scenic spots, which were beautiful. Lunch was great, especially the poisson cru made by Pierre.
You get to see areas off the main roads. Lunch consisting of local produce was delicious. Great driver who shared their vast local knowledge.
If you are anywhere near Moorea, TAKE THIS TOUR. A wonderful way to see the island and spend the day. Pierre is the real deal and a legit operator who loves his island home and enjoys sharing it with others. He took us to some incredibly beautiful spots (including his own private beach for a delicious lunch) and provided nice commentary and humor along the way. A few things to note. Consider a cushion to sit on. There are cushions on the seats but parts of the trip are VERY bumpy. Wear hiking shoes/boots. One hike in particular involves 3 river crossings (no bridges), some arduous climbing and potential for slippery ground. Getting to the amazing waterfall IS worth it though. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. The ground is volcanic and has a very high iron content so plan on getting rust stained. My wife and I are 60 and 70 years old and we made it fine but it is a challenge. We took 4 tours around Tahiti and Moorea and this was BY FAR the best. Pierre never rushed us at any stop always saying "take as much time as you want, it's your tour not mine". He got us back to the ferry terminal right on time after a wonderful 7 hour day.
This was a totally great expereience. Pierre the owner and great leader was as good as it gets. Super tour guide and even prepared the great lunch we had at his very own private oceanfront picnic grounds. Pierre forgets nothing and does a great job providing history and lots of info on flora and fauna . We got to see most of the entire island of Moorea!! Pierre is a super good driver on some of the bumpiest off roads tours. The best ever. Highly recommended.
Best experience. Knowledgable guide. Walk to waterfall is an adventure to do not miss. Visiting sites other wouldn’t go.
This was a great way to capture the island’s beauty and culture. Our guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable and friendly.
What a great day! Tama was an excellent guide w lots information.. we loved his stories. He made us an excellent lunch in a private beach area. The ceviche was sooo good and all the delicious fruits.
We booked this tour online in advance of our trip and glad we did. There were eight of us in total. We were picked up and made our way to the first stop, Magic Mountain (traditional name Fa’aroa) overlook. Tama was our guide. The trail was incredibly steep and only wide enough for one vehicle, most of it had two cement tracks for traction as it would be very muddy in bad weather. There was a summer camp trip with tons of kids hiking up the trail which made the drive a bit slower. View from the top was beautiful! We then drove to Moorea Tropical Gardens. We tried some local jams: banana, guava, papaya, and pineapple. This was the last stop for a restroom. We then drove to Belvedere Lookout. Because a cruise ship was in port that day, it was incredibly crowded. There were vendors selling snacks at the top. Tama then drove into the caldera. Along the way we had views of the pineapple fields. Afterwards, we then drove to a private beach area to have lunch. Tama prepared the meal while everyone went swimming to cool off. We had ceviche, rice, coconut jello, bananas, starfruit, coconut bread, banana jam pie, and local grapefruit, which is green in color. There was Hinano beer, tahitian rum punch, and tropical juices. Lunch was delicious. We then drove to a location to hike to a waterfall. It was a 15 minute hike and a little slippery but easy. There three water crossings so be mindful that your shoes will get wet (we just wore water shoes with a decent sole all day). There was only a tiny bit of water coming down the waterfall given the season, but still very beautiful to experience. We saw eels in the pool and learned they are considered sacred in the islands and help clean the water. After the waterfall we were all dropped off at our pick up locations. Overall a wonderful day and we highly recommend this tour!!
