This was a great experience! The boat was nice and so smooth, I was worried about waves and seasickness but that was not a problem. The crew took such great care of every person, especially while snorkeling. The lunch was delicious. It was a great day. Bring sun screen even on cloudy days.

BOOK THIS TOUR!!! Don’t hesitate. BOOK IT!!! Just back and it was the #1 most amazing tour in all of Tahiti islands. The guide and captain of the ship were absolutely phenomenal. The most relaxed and yet spectacular tour of the lagoons. Had first ever experiences with stingrays and witnessed many beautiful fish. I don’t know what it is like to go on other similar tours with different operators, but these guys were just phenomenal. BOOK IT!!!!!

An amazing experience to snorkel in warm, shallow water with rays and occasional sharks. Rays seem to like humans and are slickly pettable. Lunch on the island is fun, especially watching the coconut husking and food prep. In general though, these excursion boats are not designed for anyone not fit enough to climb into or off the boat. You do not swim from a beach. And you should be able to swim; no life jackets available.

Incredible day spent the lagoon in Moorea. Shakes, rays, turtles, coal -- and a wonderful beach BBQ. We can really recommend this team of entrepreneurs -- nothing was too much trouble

Not only are you entertained by the captain and the cook on this outrigger tour, but you’re treated to an encounter with sting rays, sharks, and turtles. All with a lively boat ride and a feast in a shallow crystal cove. Great way to see the beauty that is Moorea!

very nice experience, stephen and ryhiana made a fantastic job , we had fun, were able to watch a lot of fishes, squales, turtles and many other things lunch on motu was great local punch was very good it was windy but captain Stephen was very good to manage waves

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. We have gone on multiple excursions before in all different countries. Nothing will ever compare to this! We saw dolphins, sharks, turtles, rays, coral gardens and tropical fish. The crew were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond. Always there to help, amazing cooking… and even a bit of singing with the ukulele. They called us family and we most definitely felt like family. Such a special place and they made sure we would remember that forever.

We had such a great time. Absolutely stunning scenery and ocean life. Loved the snorkeling. The lunch was delicious. The crew was fantastic and so fun.

Beautiful. Great guide with a great lunch provided. Only problem was meeting spot and NO communication on where exactly to meet. Therefore the boat had left and had to return to pick us up.

Absolutely amazing experience! Would always recommend! The lunch is focused on the fish (very delicious!), but there was also a chicken option. If you are vegan/vegetarian you’ll have to be ok with just the sides of rice/pasta and some sauce (and fresh cut coconut!) but otherwise this was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Hina und Tia were the best guides!!

great experience, exploring the beautiful nature, swimming with lives you like or you dont, most importantly encounter the local hospitality and culture. staff are amazing Hina and Tea are amazing, looking after everyone, young and old from beginning to the end, look after your safty, share cultural element through cooking local dishes and open coconut. swimming with stingray and sharks are fun and interesting. it was perfect day to explore beautiful island of Moorea. we come to moorea by early morning ferry from Papeete (6:10 with vaeara'i) and returned in the late afternoon(16:15 with tauati). pick up and drop off from ferry station are included. it was great day out from Papeete to Moorea, truly enjoyed.

Thank you so much to Hina and Captain Tea! This is the second lagoon tour my husband and I have done over our several visits to Moorea, and it was the first for my mom. It was, by far, the best one we’ve experienced. Hina and Captain Tea went out of their way to make everyone feel like family, creating such a welcoming, fun, and relaxed atmosphere. We were able to swim with reef sharks and stingrays, and they were incredibly knowledgeable about the ocean and current conditions. Although it wasn’t safe to swim with the sea turtles that day, they made sure we were still able to see them while explaining why it wasn’t safe to enter the water. They also took us to a beautiful motu, where they prepared a wonderful lunch. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, snorkel, and take in the incredible beauty of Moorea. Overall I’d say we spent a good two hours on the Motu. I would absolutely go out of my way to book another tour with Hina and Captain Tea. Torea Nui made an excellent decision hiring these two—they truly made our day unforgettable. 10/10 stars!

We had such an amazing day out in Moorea - this tour exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly informative, friendly, and brought a level of energy to the tour that made the day unforgettable. Within 15 minutes of getting on the boat, we got to see a pod of dolphins swimming in the harbour, rays and black tip sharks at our next stop, and a snorkel tour with turtles thanks to the low current in the channel that day. The lunch on the private island was a highlight, where we got to learn how to make coconut fish and shuck a coconut, all while taking in the crystal clear water with a rum punch!

Absolutely wonderful! The crew was fabulous and took us to all the best spots. We swam with A LOT of rays and sharks. We also saw turtles. Lunch was fabulous while sitting in the water with fish and even another ray joining us. A+++

It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The whole team on board was fantastic — professional, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable. The food was excellent and everything was very well organized. As someone who couldn’t swim, I was honestly a bit nervous at first, but the crew took all the right safety measures and made sure I felt safe and at ease the entire time. Their patience and attention really made a difference. I 100% recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable lagoon experience.

You can't beat the warm, shallow waters of Moorea, a fantastic snorkeling experience. I'm no longer afraid of encountering sting rays. Our guide showed us how gentle they are. The lunch was delicious, the best cooked tuna I've ever tasted, with picnic tables sitting in the water. Such a wonderful way to spend a day in Moorea!

What an amazing day , boat trip with snorkelling in a couple of different spots where we saw turtles, eagle rays, sting rays , black tip sharks and lots of fish, then we had lunch , freshly made ceviche made in front of us which we ate on a picnic table in the water with lots of fish swimming around our feet. It was truly magical , then to top it all off they played and sang local music and made us hats on the way back🫶 Highly recommended

There are not enough words in the dictionary to express how wonderful this tour was! Stefan and his crew went out of their way to make our day unforgettable! The magic began as soon as we left the dock ….the crew shared interesting facts about Moorea and then proceeded to serenade us with their beautiful singing accompanied by the joyful ukulele and bongo drum! The snorkeling was brilliant with stingrays, reef sharks and fish in abundance. The lunch was delicious. The boat very comfortable. There was plenty of time to have multiple snorkeling sessions, some turtle spotting, coconut harvesting and Polynesian craft. I had my 88yr old mother with me and Stefan & his crew (I’m kicking myself I don’t recall the names of his team!) treated her like royalty! The whole day was absolutely brilliant! I will be retuning to Australia and telling everyone if they are visiting Moorea they MUST do this tour! You will not be disappointed I promise you! 10 stars out of 5!!

This fairly new boat your company offered us an excellent day around Moorea. Well prepared tour with stops to swim with the sting rays, black tip reef sharks, large other fish which I had seen during my numerous stays in Bora Bora, large turtles and a lunch with feet in the water with the preparation of Coconut milk from scratch, an ingredient of the Tahitian salad that was mixed in a very hygienic way in front of us with our participation for the addition of the coconut milk. Fruit juices, sodas, beers and punch with Rhum were offered during the all tour. Hats with leaves were made for us for the return to the Hilton hotel. All along we had explanations from the guide of all the points of interest we were passing by, along live music and songs. The boat was definitely not crowded and we HIGHLY recommend it.

We spent a wonderful day with the most welcoming crew. They were genuine, kind, great entertainers and teachers of their language and culture. We felt like they had welcomed us into their family. We saw all the beautiful sights, and the vistas are stunning. We saw so much wildlife up close - spinner dolphins, stingrays, reef sharks, eagle rays, sea turtles and so many tropical fish! We were treated to fresh coconuts, rum punch, beer, soda and the captain even made us traditional woven headbands - such a nice treat. The boat is spacious, comfortable, clean and has a shade cover. You will absolutely have a wonderful time on this cruise -this was hands down the highlight of our vacation. Don't miss out on this experience!

From the boat we saw the mountains, lush greenery, sparkling blue water. We swam with rays, sharks & turtles. We had a delicious lunch with fresh Polynesian specialities. Our guides, Moana & Mimia, were warm, welcoming, & fun. The canoe or boat was newer, clean, & well maintained as was the van to pick us up from the ferry. The company was very accommodating to fit us in the tour on our last full day in Tahiti. Book this tour!

We have been on many island snorkel tour over the years and this was by far one of the best!! The itinerary was perfect with multiple dolphin sitings, fantastic shallow snorkel with rays & sharks and a great deeper snorkel with turtles a huge squadron of eagle rays! The grand finale BBQ prepared on the private motu was fantastic in an idyllic setting. The 2 motorized outrigger canoes were very spacious, comfortable and super smooth through the water. I can’t say enough about the crew of four that ran the entire excursion- super informative, funny and very helpful throughout the day! Would highly recommend if looking for a lagoon snorkel tour in Moorea!!👍

What a fantastic day! Wonderful tour guides, great tour of Cook and Opunohu Bays, saw lots of dolphins, swam with sharks and sting rays, while snorkeling saw a group of 30 or so eagle rays and also turtles. Ended with a barbecue lunch at a private beach along with tug of war and dance lessons. Doesn’t get better than this! Take this tour! Friendliest people!!!!

My wife and I, we spend an amazing day on the Moorea Lagoon tour with Stephane, Mamaia and one of the best ukulele player. The tour was great m, showing us the best of the Mo’orea Lagoon. We’ve played with all the sea creatures and we had a lovely afternoon on a private Moru. Thanks guys, one of a kind experience!

I recommend the Torea Nui Lagoon Tour. We were picked up at the hotel at 8 a.m. and driven to the boat dock in Cook's Bay. There were 15 of us on the lagoon tour and we were divided into two boats. My boat had eight passengers and two crew. Our Captain was Moanauri and our cook was Reiana. They did a great job pf looking after us. As we sailed in the lagoon, we saw a pod of Spinner Dolphins in Opunohu Bay. Our lunch stop was at Motu Moemoea. (A motu is a small islet.) We saw many fish, including sting rays. Before lunch on the motu, we had two demonstrations. Moanauri showed us how to cut open a coconut. Reiana showed us how to make Polynesian Fish Cru. This is a dish of raw fish, white tuna in this case. You add lime juice to marinate the fish and make it easier to eat. Then you add coconut milk. Finally raw vegetables are mixed in. My photo shows the finished product, ready to eat. It actually was quite tasty. I enjoyed the lunch of fish cru, cooked tuna, rice, chicken, and pasta. Lots of small fish swim near the motu. Our last stop was Hauru Point, a shallow part of the lagoon where we can swim with the sharks and sting rays. I took some photos of the sharks and rays before getting in the water. The rays swim right up to you. It was a lovely day out on the lagoon.

An absolutely mind-blowing day! Our lagoon cruise by traditional canoe was easily the highlight of our holiday. We snorkelled over eight historic tiki carvings, swam with sharks and stingrays, learned to open and shred coconuts, and made a traditional Tahitian dish of raw fish in coconut milk. The picnic lunch on tables in the water was unforgettable. Teahi and the staff were exceptional, making the whole day safe, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Moorea!

It was great! We loved our guide and Captain and the lunch was wonderful. We would highly recommend this and would do something like this again if we returned.

We had an amazing time going on the tour for our first honeymoon activity. Though it started off with a rainy day, the captain and crew were in high spirits, and the skies opened up for a phenomenal day of snorkeling and enjoying the water. They were super friendly, and kept Everyone engaged with facts about the ocean and about the local Polynesian culture. The food they prepared was 10 out of 10, I would highly recommend.

We booked the lagoon tour with Torea Nui through the Sofitel hotel. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain when we were due to leave. We tried to cancel, given the severe weather conditions, but were told it was not possible. Reluctantly, we joined the tour anyway, hoping the weather would improve – but it only got worse. Due to the storm, the tour had to return 3 hours earlier than scheduled. When we requested a refund, we were only offered 10% of the total cost, which is unacceptable considering we barely experienced the tour. They refused to offer any further compensation. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we do not recommend booking with Torea Nui, especially considering their poor handling of weather-related issues and lack of customer care.

The explanations are clear, the food is exquisite, and the kindness is palpable. Swimming with the turtles, rays, sharks... just indescribable. There was a great atmosphere with the other visitors (special mention to Alan and Caroline). To say that the lagoon is magnificent is an understatement, but the little extra is the meeting with all these outstanding people. I will come back, that's for sure. Maururu Maitai!

Excellent day. Very friendly staff, attentive to our questions and needs. Great activities. Swimming with the rays and sharks... really. The rays let you pet them... incredible. Dancing, meals, how to open a coconut... Music, great atmosphere. Humor. Anyway... when do I go back?

Superb excursion in the Moorea lagoon and on the Motu of Fareone. Lots of fish, sharks, rays, and turtles, and even some dolphins. Our captains and guides were perfect, humorous, and kind. The meal was excellent, the atmosphere great, and the activities (cooking, pareo tying, and Polynesian dances) were well-organized and very interesting. I would add a cosmopolitan group, but very kind to one another (2 Greeks, 2 Hawaiians, 2 Swiss, 2 Vietnamese, and 4 French). Nothing to complain about. I recommend it to everyone...
