The only issue I have is……. When you’re passing a site and the prerecorded voice mentions the site it’s too late to take a photograph, you passed it… maybe inform the tourist the photo opportunity is approaching in advance….i had a difficult time locating the bus stop near the casino… got there 20 minutes early and still couldn’t find the bus stop….. because you can’t see the stop from the casino ……but overall the tour was great, lots of stops…. Oh, if you sit on the upper level in the very front, wear a helmet, bike, motorcycle or construction helmet because you will hit your head if not careful….. I hit my big head several times and watched several other people smash their head while standing up or sitting down….. maybe make the seats in the front thumper row or put some bright markings or warning labels there…. Bus is clean and well maintained unlike the bus in Chile Santiago… that was the first bus tour in the history of bus tours for sure!!!!
Very nice staff and helpful. We enjoy the two route. The hearing guide explain, what you are seeing.
The buses aren't the most frequent at stops, so be aware of your schedule. There is a plus side to this, it gives time at each stop to really explore. The buses are comfortable and the drivers and associates we encountered were all professional, polite, and very informative.
Very nice, friendly, smiling staff. Buses always on time.Buses clean. Very beautiful Rambla side. Highly recommend this wery well done tours .
it was great! staff was friendly, information was very complete. Having the app to track the buses live was great.
Great rides covered a good portion of the city. Hop on hop off access. Coastal route is 1.5 hour wait if you get off so leave plenty to do to use up the time. Central Route comes by every half hour or so.
A great economical way to get around the city. Audio accompaniment was interesting. All in all very enjoyable. 😘
We didn’t have a lot of time so nice bus ride around the city with audio guide. Did not get to do the coast ride. Staff was very helpful and professional.
Wonderful way to discover the city...I usually do this the 1st time I go anywhere and it doesn't disappoint.
Great experience, busses are comfortable, punctual, commentary in 4 languages, cover the main sights/areas of MVD. Friendly staff. Highly recommendable
Good value for money Clean bus , headphones for English audio . Good driver. Great host on the bus, very helpful and spoke good English.
Very close to where cruiseship docks. Easy walk. Headphone system works perfectly. Very informational
We were at the bus stop at 9am and met by a representative who said the next bus would be in 10 minutes. We waited and waited 30 minutes
Recommended, nice service and two routes offered. When we used them, 1 bus for the blue and 5ish buses for the green. Not long waits.
Great intro to Montevideo, excellent narration with plenty of information. The 12 stops are well spread out.
Excellent service and route. Surprisingly punctual. Busses are in great condition and crew was super helpful and accommodating.
A great way to get a full idea of Montevideo. A few great stops, including the first World Cup stadium. Very nice electric bus and kind guides.
The tourist bus has 2 routes. One is the coastal route and the other takes you into the old city along with some sites outside the city center. Good narration in many languages. Tickets are for a 24 hour period. We began mid-day one day and finished the same time the next day. Nice way to see a lot of the highlights in the city. All my pics were taken from the bus
Great service highly recommended. This is a good thing to just go and look at the city you can get down and then go back on the next bus. Check your pick up destinations because depending which destinations you checking is a different time. CUCTSA is the name of the bus and you will not miss it is the only two story bus in Montevideo.
Everything went well. Pre-travel information was sufficient. I did a bit of work checking the stops to see where I could book a hotel. The buses were clean with helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Contrary to some of the reviews of this service, our experience was fantastic - timely buses that were clean with very helpful staff who all spoke excellent English.
I would NOT recommend booking a tour with this company. We waited over an hour at our pick up location. No bus arrived. We messaged the driver SEVERAL times to find what the arrival time would be. There was no response. We then used the What’s App and sent several messages asking for an arrival time or if they were working today. No Response. We tried calling the phone number and no answer. Terrible service and DO NOT recommend. Why have service numbers and they are not providing info
Excellent ! Goes around the most important neighborhoods and places of interest with many stops to choose from according to each one’s interests. Great employees and up to date busses. Would highly recommend them to get an overview of Montevideo and then; if time permits, visit the areas that you liked the most.
Very easy off the boat. Make seeing the city very convenient. It nice open air top with bottom deck having ac when you get hot. For the price great option.
We took the bus on a rainy morning, so it worked out perfectly. We were able to see several tourist attractions. They offer two routes, and you can do both with the same ticket. The audio guide was excellent for understanding the city’s history. We were traveling with a teenager, so it was also a great way to avoid complaints about long walks to get to the sights. It’s not a must-do, but it’s a great option if it fits into your travel plans. We bought our tickets at the port, at a tourist information center. The service was excellent, and the purchase process was quick and secure. The price was great, considering the distance traveled. The bus was clean, enclosed, and accessible.
Great way to see the highlights of the city and the beach areas. Good narrative and not very busy. Can go back to areas you want to see.
Great way to see the city and neighborhoods. Took both the green line and blue line. What a fabulous city! Personnel on bus helpful.
It is the best way to get to know the city. Two complete tours of Montevideo. Small suggestion: I would add an additional stop in the middle of the southern rambla, between 12 and 1.
Uninteresting tour - the city is uncharacteristic and has very little to offer visitors
Very good tour, with great punctuality at the stops, very affordable, and with excellent service and willingness from the staff in charge of the experience. The audio guide is very useful for learning about the places the bus is passing through.
All very good. Comfortable bus and very polite attendants.
Great way to get to know all the sights. It is comfortable, punctual and with great service by the driver and the person who accompanies. The ticket can be purchased at travel agencies or on the bus itself at any stop. I paid R$ 138,00 per person on the bus. There are 2 circuits, and the ticket is valid for both. The only point of intersection between them to be able to change buses is in the park Rodó. On the circuit that passes through the harbor and historic centre, one bus passes every 30 minutes at each stop. On the circuit by the Rambla (following the edge) passes every 1 hour and a half
The bus is punctual and new, the guides are very polite and communicative, the city of montevideo is a gracinha, we like the city tour
Excellent service: the bus is very comfortable, new and punctual in the schedules, they explain in detail all the places you go by, all the staff who attend on the bus are very friendly and make suggestions where to get off.
The Bus has two routes. One is about two hours, the second is by the coastal area of one hour. In summer the second floor is a kitchen, there is no air conditioning and the windows are small. The area below, like all city buses in the world, has few seats but the air conditioning is insufficient. The narratives are quite complete and have an app to track. They do schedules pretty well. The staff is very friendly.
Brand new buses, very kind staff, timetables displayed (and respected!) in every single stop and printed on brochures, possibility 'to trace the route on their application, audio also in Italian, standard prices. Very good
We started the journey in Independence Square, the bus is economical, clean, the guide services with hearing aids are perfect, interesting details. I recommend anyone who arrives in the city before leaving for visits to individual sites. The same ticket allows to use for 24 hours in two tours.
I recommend. Good option to get to know the tourist and important points of the city. Guides well polite and ready to help. I found a little bad the interval to pass one bus from the other. But for those who like to do things in calm stay calm because you will have time
Spectacular, clean bus with headphones in several languages, including Portuguese. helpful and attentive staff.
Very interesting all the way and very friendly guides and drivers. Definitely a Hop on hop style Service to recommend. Very clear the brochure with the detail of the schedules.
Bad experience. We waited for almost an hour for the first bus of the day and nothing. Nenhum ônibus apareceu. We were at the departure point before 9:00 (meeting time and departure of the first bus) and there was no one, no employees, nothing. We waited for 45 minutes until we gave up the ride. I tried to talk to the agency and got no answer, I talked to Viator, complained, requested the cancellation of the Service due to excessive Waiting time and Viator refused to refund me. Bad Service, lack of commitment. I do not recommend
Highly recommended to know the city of Montevideo, if you go with a few days the bus is the right thing to know the tourist spots, we take the tour of the center and for the same cost you can change to the other Bus at the stop of Parque Rodó to travel all the Rambla, the bus is very comfortable, new and punctual in the schedules, they are explaining in detail by all the places you are passing, all the staff who attend on the bus are very friendly and make suggestions where to get off.
BAD EXPERIENCE. Schedules are merely indicative... The tours, in my experience, also: when we got off in the meadow, the driver did not plan to stop, stopped 150 m later and because we got up with the bus running because he had passed stop 7 through the bullfighter. Now we have been waiting for MORE THAN AN HOUR for it to pass through this same stop, in the web of monitoring the buses already go two that skip this stop (the same one in which we get off). There is no indication here that the stop is suppressed or temporarily out of service, they simply DO NOT PASS. Pay 50 US$ for this, I tell you it's NOT WORTH it.
Excellent way to see in general terms the whole city, has two routes that cover the main things to see in Montevideo
