We didn’t know much about Uraguay at the start. Miguel taught us so much and his love of country was evident. He is extremely knowledgable and answered all our questions. He was flexible and accommodating. It was one of our favorite tours.

We did the tour with Mike (Miguel) and he is honestly amazing. He went above and beyond and actually extended the tour by an hour to ensure we visited all places. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew a lot about the history of Uruguay. Highly recommend this tour!

Miguel is a great tour guide who knows the history of the city like no other. He walks you through the colonial times, the (rather complex) struggle for independence and the golden age of the country in the late 19th/early 20th century. Besides that, you can enjoy the beautiful architecture of the city, which is a must see if you like Art Deco. Miguel makes sure that you get all the details behind the building's history. Highly recommended!
Miguel did a wonderful job of communicating with us and offering his suggestions for us to have the perfect experience, even beyond the scope of the tour. Ricardo, our guide for the morning, was fantastic, so personable and knowledgeable. He offered suggestions for us to continue exploring on our own after the tour was finished. The clean and very comfortable van picked us up at our hotel (and the other guests too). Emiliano the driver was kind and helpful too. What a great team and fabulous experience. It was my first ever trip to Uruguay and Miguel was my tour guide to visit Punta Del Este. He arrived on time to pick me up from my hotel in his tourist car and took us on a comfortable ride to show us the following places: - Museo Taller de Casapueblo - The beachfront at Maldonado - The famous beach hands at Punta Del Este - The waterfront at Punta Del Este (we got to see sea lions at close quarters) - Punta de Las Salinas (the southernmost point in Uruguay) - The famous Punta Del Este Casino Miguel speaks very good English as well as Portuguese in addition to Spanish, and he made it a truly memorable experience for me!! Miguel is very knowledgeable about the finer aspects of Uruguayan history and life in general, and he’s also a great conversationalist! I really learnt a LOT about this INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL country 🇺🇾 just by travelling with him, and will VERY STRONGLY recommend his guided tours! Muchas gracias amigo! Hasta la proxima! Very full and interesting tour with Miguel He covered all the history of Uruguay and took us to all the key spots in Montevideo. The old town square was full of historical buildings and beautiful architecture. Miguel’s English was perfect so we were able to relax and enjoy his charismatic style.
The tour with Miguel was a 10/10 experience, personalized according to my particular interest in architecture but without failing to learn about everything in the city where I will be for the next few months. Highly recommended!

Me encanto el tour. Miguel fue muy cordial y buen guía, aprendí mucho de la historia de Uruguay, hermosos paisajes y la arquitectura de Ciudad Vieja, sacamos muchas fotos de Plaza Independencia, Teatro Solis y la peatonal. Lo recomiendo totalmente.
