We had to cancel the excursion due to sickness and operator was very helpful and accommodating to get us our money back although it took us a long time to submit the paperwork from the doctor. Thank you, we appreciated your help.

Great time with Andes and Belen! Fun, informative and happy to answer questions and suggestions. Saw a varied route - the football stadium, the huge bronze oxen and cart, a view from up high of the city, a little roadside market - recommend!!
Francesca was a delightful and extremely knowledgeable tour guide! We especially appreciated that Blanco Tour Uruguay divided our initially large group into 3 smaller groups of ~12 people on a smaller tour bus. It was easy to hear Francesca on the bus and to hear her on land without a microphone. Tour highlights included the Cathedral, the city square near the president’s office, Parliament and Monumenta la Carretta, the magnificent sculpture of the gaucho, the oxen and his cart. We finished with a trip to the 22nd floor of a building with a view of the city. Really an excellent tour and we definitely got the feel of Montevideo! Well done, Francesca!
Great 4 hour tour. We covered a lot of ground in a limited amount of time. Our tour guide was excellent! Her English was great. I would highly recommend this tour. We visited the highlights as promised.
Hi, had a great tour with Carolina from Blanco Tours. Very informative and fantastic English so could understand her commentary. The content of the tour was just right and we learnt a lot about the history of Montevideo and Uruguay. She also went the extra mile and found us a cab after the tour to go to the Hard Rock Cafe. All in all 10 out of 10 for the tour. Thanks again for the great time we had in Montevideo
Great small group tour for 4 hrs around the city! Very nice comfortable van with AC and bottled water. Safe driver and excellent tour guide Florencia, who spoke perfect English! Organized tour pickup and drop off.
Hi Blanco Tour Team, We had a wonderful time in Montevideo. The lady guide was awesome. She was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We visited all the places mentioned in the itinerary within the time slot. Thank you for giving us such a perfect tour in Montevideo.
Francesca was an excellent guide, friendly, informative, confident. This tour was well planned and we saw a good variety of sights - it was everything we wanted it to be. Not only did we enjoy a fine capital city, we learned so much about Uruguay.
Fantastic tour of the city , the guide was very informative, gave us plenty of time to look around at stops, enjoyed the day.
A great tour for a short visit to Montevideo. Jaime was outstanding and very kind to my wife who has mobility issues
Great tour of the city and loved the small group size. Tour directors were easy to find on the pier. Our driver Washington was exceptionally attentive to helping us get on and off the van
This tour is very similar to those from the ship, at a much better price. I just wish the tour guide had some kind of microphone so us old folk could hear better. Granted,, the other guides we saw also had no amplifier.
Excellently organised and very interesting. The guide took great care to explain all that we visited
Excellent trip around the city. Very informative. Visited many sites that we wouldn't have done by ourselves. Our guide, Belem was super knowledgeable with a lovely personality. Great trip which we highly recommend.
This tour hits most if not all, of the must see sites and views in the city. Our guide, Belen, was wonderful! If you can, try to get her for your booking!
We had a great tour with Andrés and Florencia today. About 12 of us. Nice minibus with AC, WIFI, chilled water and a nice biscuit treat. We were taken to all the important áreas. Several stops. Lots of really interesting commentary from Florencia who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were very well looked after. The last stop was the market opposite the cruise terminal where they were cooking up some delicious food. Thank you both. I would thoroughly recommend this company.
The tour guide was fantastic and the tour was great. The locations were well chosen to show off montevideo
The city tour with the Blanco Tour Team was very informative and enjoyable. Pablo gave excellent commentary along the journey, as well as a delicious pastry to snack on as we traveled through out the city. Would highly recommend this tour.🙂
Great small group experience. We could understand the guide, Paul. He was great at sharing his knowledge. Driver was also great. Blanco Tours was great.
Jaime walked us through the sites of Montevideo providing so much information, history and laughs. He is very professional never letting his participants to lose focus. We visited the beach, an indoor market and a great rooftop lookout as well. Nice overview of the city.
Really great tour with Florence and Daniel ( hope that’s correct) . City tour educational and loved montivedo. Saw so much in the time with stops for walking . Great time
Pablo and Washington did a great job with our tour. We saw many sights in the old town and around the Independence Plaza. We also saw several monuments, government buildings, the soccer stadium and had a pleasant drive along the Rambla de Montevideo. We ended the trip at the top of the Mirador for a panoramic view of the city. Pablo was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
We were welcomed at cruise terminal and we shared a van with another couple. Pablo did a good job showing us interesting spots in Montevideo such as the old town, La Rambla the promenade. He also took us to the town hall which has a great lookout over Montevideo. We would highly recommend Blanco Tours if you happen to be in Montevideo and would like to get an overview of the points of interest in Montevideo.
Lovely guide with excellent knowledge and English. Spent just enough time at each highlight. .......
This tour exceeded our expectations. Our is a great value with a variety of stops and giving a good sense of the city. Our tour guide Florencia was very sweet, she gave generous explanations and she was very attentive to the needs of each passengers. She noticed what individuals showed an interest in and pointed out extra things to them, as well as made sure my husband, who has a knee injury, was comfortable. Time was managed very well and there was good balance between sightseeing, culture, nice views, shopping, and opportunities to try local food. The agency was very well organized and the meeting place was clear.
Best 4 hours spent seeing the highlights of Montevideo Uruguay. Tour started and ended on time and Florence was a wealth of knowledge giving the history of the country and modern Montevideo. Visited all the main places of interest and had time to take photos. Recomend this Tour as Montevideo doesn't have a subway system, so buses, users and organised tours are the only way to get around. Thank you Florence for a wonderful time.
Our tour guide Florencia was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable. This was a great tour if you have just a short stay in Montevideo. It gave us a great feel for the city. We definitely want to go back and spend more time in Montevideo. .
Jamie provided an excellent overview of the city highlights. We covered a significant portion of the city in a comfortable van.
Excellent tour of the highlights of Monte Video. Our tour guide Jaime was very passionate about his homeland and that showed in his commentary which was entertaining as well as knowledgeable. Thank you to Jaime and our driver Washington.
Good small group tour. First time in Montevideo and I believe we saw all the highlights in our 4 hour tour. Falencia did an excellent narration while Gabriel got us close to the sights. Good teamwork.
Excellent Guide and small number of passengers made for an excellent experience in Montevideo, Uruguay. Saw the important sites. It was a mixture of a small van ride and some walking. The walking was not difficult or for long distances.
This was a good, basic overview of Montevideo. Florencia was an excellent guide, Gabriel a great driver, and the experience delivered as promised.
Friendly. Helpful. Female guide speaks way way too softly. As my hearing is not perfect I asked someone else and they could not hear either. She was polite and I guess knowledgeable but big issue if not speak up.
Comfortable vehicle, air conditioned, water available. Very Scenic, from water views, architecture, the Cathedral, market place, so much to take in. They shared history, and made it fun stopping at a local cafe shop for Mate and Churros! Kind, courteous and ready to accommodate any requests. Many thanks to Andreas and Belen for s sharing Montevideo with us. Highly recommend.
Andreas and Belen did an amazing job presenting us with an excellent overview of Montevideo. They provided personalized, attentive service. I would highly recommend this tour!
A varied look at Montevideo while hearing about its history and current features. Guide Florence was charming, friendly and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed it and was just the job for a half day overview of a stunning city.
Lots of stops for shopping. Wasn't able to inside cathedral or historical buildings. We had bathroom breaks and could have purchased food/drinks.
Well-organized and perfectly timed with our cruise schedule. The guide and driver were friendly and knowledgeable, and we saw all the main highlights. Comfortable transportation, good pacing, and plenty of photo stops. A stress-free fun and enjoyable way to experience Montevideo in a short time—highly recommend.
Personable guide with excellent English. Driver took great care of us. Returned one couple who didn’t feel well to the port. Moved a less mobile person to the end of a short walk. Not too much walking, not too little waking. Recommended especially at the price point.
My wife and recently enjoyed a small-group tour with Blanco at ours through Montevideo, Uruguay. Our driver (and tour company owner) Andres, along with the tour guide Belen, showed us the history and beauty of their capital city. From the large public square to the expansive Rambla, from the cathedral to the markets, towering skyscraper overlooks to beach vistas - they shared stories of Uruguayan life and really brought it to life for us. If you find yourself in Montevideo and are looking for an introductory tour, this is the one for you.
Nothing extraordinary to see, very lackluster. For Montevideo to be the capital of Uruguay, the highlights were very disappointing. There just wasn't much to see.
Try to get Jaime Gutierrez Castro as your guide. There was a mix-up where Blanco Tours did not initially show up as per numerous emails with instructions, as he was leading another tour. Jaime stepped in and we participated in his tour, which was great.
Belen our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Andres our driver was also excellent and had a great report with Belen making the whole experience one of the best trips we have done.
Great tour, very informative guide and covered quite a lot of interesting sights. Finished at the market near the port
Jamie did a great job of showing us the highlights of this beautiful city. The pace was leisurely, but we still managed to see a lot. The minibus was comfortable and was driven safely. The tour and the company are well organised. Highly recommended
This was a great tour. Andreas and Belen were great hosts and the love for their country was very apparent
Excellent guide. Full of enthusiasm & keen to share her knowledge.. Montevideo is a lovely city with very nice people. The food at the market was very good.
What a great tour this was. The tour guide Jimmy was great with a wicked sense of humour. The guide and driver were on time and the tour was everything we wanted it to be, not rushed just right.
Blanco Tours from meet up to end was the best tour of our whole cruise! Montevideo exceeded expectations with its beauty. This stunning city is situated along the Rio de la Plata "River of Silver". Our driver and tour guide Belen were personable, educational and dedicated to give us the best tour possible. We visited historical buildings, important state buildings and were able to see the city from 22 stories up! #blancotours @blancotours
Knowledgeable guide in Belen. Went at the pace of the group at the various stops and allowed enough time to see the various sights
