Cruise-friendly Shared Tour: Explore Montevideo’s Best

Francesca was a delightful and extremely knowledgeable tour guide! We especially appreciated that Blanco Tour Uruguay divided our initially large group into 3 smaller groups of ~12 people on a smaller tour bus. It was easy to hear Francesca on the bus and to hear her on land without a microphone. Tour highlights included the Cathedral, city square near the President’s office, and Monumenta la Carretta, the magnificent sculpture of the gaucho, the oxen and his cart. We finished with a trip to the 22nd floor of a building with a great rooftop view of the city. Really an excellent tour and we definitely got the feel of Montevideo! Well done, Francesca!

Excellent half day tours with Andres, very knowledgeable, friendly and a good communicator with a bit of jokes in the mix. The 4.5 hrs tour covered most of the attractions in Montevideo in a fairly new and comfortable coach at moderate pace.

Great tour guide and super organized at cruise port. Would have given it 5 stars but the AC broke on the mini bus on what turned out to be a very hot day. It was hard to enjoy when we were all so warm and uncomfortable. But our guide was very informative and engaging. Covered everything we wanted to see.

This was an interesting and wide ranging tour of Montevideo. Out tour guide, Carolina, was very knowledgeable and extremely considerate to those in our group whi had mobility issues. Her English was also excellent. I can highly recommend this tour a and this company.

Florentina our guide was very knowlegable and informative about Montevideo. We had a great tour and saw the highlights of the City in about 4 and a half hours. She spoke English excellently and gave us an insight into Uruguay. The pick up from the pier was flawless. We would highly recommend this tour

There was alot of drive by different sites in the van. Jamie was very knowledgeable, but there was not alot of stops at historic sites. Felt like a mixture of items thrown together to form a tour.

Fantastic day exploring Montevideo with Andres and Belen. We loved the smaller van (vs bus) and had so much fun. This was well worth the cost and super easy to find the team once off the ship. They also provided ice cold water whenever we needed it.

This tour was perfect to see and experience Montivideo on our day stop off the cruise. Picked up and dropped off at the port. Very punctual Driver (Washington) and guide ( Paulo) were excellent, friendly and informative! Lots of stops and photo opportunities along the way on the tour. Great guide Belan is a star and despite the rainy weather she and her driver fitted the tour around the weather which made it great fun. Saw all the sights and enjoyed the history.

Montevideo is a small, beautiful and exciting city, and our tour with guides Andres and Jaime was unforgettable! They are natives to their country and are very familiar with the sights shown to us ! Information given as we visited various spots was well received. We were a small group of 6 and were driven and well taken care of by our guide. He spoke English well, was energetic, knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience! We went with BlancoTour to tour the main wineries of Uruguay (Juanicó, Bouza, Garzón,...). In all of them the reception was great, and we tasted very good wines that we did not know. The lunch/tasting was great at all the wineries. Andres, the Cover who accompanied us, was very friendly, polite and attentive, and helped us when we had communication difficulties.
