It’s an experience one shouldn’t miss. You learn about a part of life of a legend of music. The mansion is fabulous!
Fantastic. It gave me goosebumps bumps that Pavorite passed away on this place. Incredible tribute to him. We also appreciate the front office, the care takers. They were so happy to see us coming from USA, ordered Taxi for us. It is a long way from downtown coming 28 Eur. It was a pleasant surprise and worth every mile.
Loved visiting the museum, was something I have wanted to do for a long time and it didn’t disappoint!
Very nice to see the house where Luciano lived. We felt strongly connected. Very privat insight. Good audio guidance.
The short drive from Modena center was easy, and so worth it to visit the Pavarotti museum. The audio guided tour was well timed, and the music and short videos were also well placed throughout the tour. There was much new information about Luciano Pavarottis life that was shared and gave a much more intimate feel to that tour. The setting and the staff in the small shop are lovely too.
Really enjoyed seeing his personal space and all the paintings he made. The Pavarotti and friends brought back memories of watching the televised concerts.
What a wonderful surprise. A beautiful collection of Pavarotti's life and music going back to his 1st opera performance. This is a must for any Pavarotti and opera fans. You hear his wonderful voice throughout his house while you look at all his collections of personal items plus pictures of all his admirers, and he had so many during his vast career. This trip is worth the taxi drive there and back. It should be one of the highlights of a visit to the beautiful small town of Modena. Enjoy this experience...
Whether you don't like Luciano or adore (as is my case) the house is more than moving because it's the story of a kind-hearted man who dedicated his whole life to making people happy. The kitchen is also particularly moving as it's remained as it was and the appliances to be found tell you of an era. We WILL return as soon as possible !! Let me just add that the entrance price is 12 euros, which is very good value for money indeed. THANK YOU everyone...
It's a beautiful tranquil place which is full of fascinating memorabilia of Pavouritti's life. Taxi is a fixed price from Modena 20 euros there and 30 euros return.
We had a lovely experience. The place is very organised with English language support. Place for parking.
What a delightful place and the ticket comes with a great audio guide. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised and there is, of course, gentle background music of the highest calibre in each of the 12 rooms! Highly recommended. We took a taxi from Modena station and the lady at reception at the house ordered us one back and it arrived in 5 minutes.
It is a very organized self guided tour. The experience of being inside Pavarotti’s home life is worth taking the tour. I very much enjoyed it.
A heart-warming and beautiful presentation of the public career and private life of Luciano Pavarotti, in his own home. In addition to his singular gift, he was a one-of-a-kind international celebrity. His paintings, his costumes, his family, his personal notes, his Steinway, pictures of his friends from all walks of life, his Grammys, his Emmys, his kitchen, his handkerchief, and much, much more. What a moving experience!
This was well worth the 20 minute taxi to visit this very special museum. It explains so much about Pavarotti’s career and really focused on his foundation to help the poor especially children. There is so much memorabilia of his life in this house and also his paintings are throughout. His voice fills the area on the second level and you just want to stay and listen. The house is very well laid out and you need at least an hour to see it properly. We stayed a bit longer. I would like to give a special thank you to the young woman working in the gift shop who assisted us by calling a taxi for our return to Modena. We very much appreciated your kind intervention.
The Pavarotti house museum was absolutely amazing. The home reflected his personality and it was an honour to visit his home away from the bright lights. There is no public transport to this place but easy by taxi, The Ferrari museums is a must see when in modern. You won’t regret it. Public transport from the city it available.
The museum is the former home of L.P. There were several other visitors, but it was not crowded and very easy to see everything. The house was filled with music, awards, personal collections and videos. The self guided tour was well coordinated with each room, allowing the visitor to proceed at his or her own pace and/or return to a previous room. If you're in Modena, this is a must see destination for anyone who enjoys music.
Casa Pavarotti is a beautiful tribute to a legend. It’s amazing to see his house, which is seemingly kept in its original fashion in many rooms like the kitchen, living room, and bedroom. His original artwork is all over the house. Other parts of the house were converted to resemble a museum – it was spectacular to see the original costumes from his operas, fan art, and even letters from his friends like Princess Diana. Pavarotti’s charitable initiatives are also showcase and it is all very moving. The audio guide is a must. Truly captivating and I highly recommend.
Even the way to this museum is not easy in the countryside, but the museum overcompensates all the effort made to come to visit. Wonderful place explained of all details by the audio guide. Touching stories and personal belongings, everything is so authentic and nicely exhibited. I would definitely recommend all opera lovers to come here.
If you are a fan of opera, even if you’re not, Luciano Pavarotti was an amazing person so great to see this. It’s a great experience. Don’t miss it !!!!!
It was very informative and very well done Many insights beautifully done worth the price the staff was very good helpful and polite
Despite it looks as a humble house, but entering the house with an explanation of Pavarotti personal items was a unique experience. The neighborhood looks amazing with a wide green landscape also.
It was a sleepy day in February when we completed the self guided tour. We were the only ones there! We learned a lot about him and the home is is good condition but the information is irepetitive.
Wonderful! From the time of booking, Questions were answered promptly and completely. Audio self tour was a true pleasure and learning experience!
Lovely museum and a super ticket deal. Very intimate museum where we were the only visitors at 10 am.
Very easy to reach by car and ample car parking. The audio guide is excellent and easy to navigate. Take your time taking everything in and watch the videos on show during your visit. Highly recommend visiting here excellent value for money. We spent almost 3 hours at once was Pavarotti's beautiful home.
Always loved Luciano, what a true thrill and pleasure to enter his home. All the displays, pictures, awards, clothing, and how it's furnished, loved his voice singing throughout, and entering his bedroom where the greatest tenor of all time took his last breath. Incredible experience.
Wonderful exhibits, personal yet world scale, and with class. Thank you so much for making it possible to share in an amazing life and talent. Our visit has been the highlight of our trip.
Arrived by car 3pm. Took the English audio self tour. Walking through Pavarotti’s home was memorable. A soprano and a Tenor were practicing in the lounge room of the great Master.
So far the best experience of our trip, beautiful, moving, simple and authentic and with his glorious voice throughout. A really stunning visit, thank you
Wow I loved it. I didn't know anything about Pavarotti, now I feel like I knew him well amazing trip, restaurant was incredible food amazing. Would definitely want to return.
Amazing, emotional and a must to visit. You will be moved by the experience of being in Pavarotti's home. Not an opera star, Pavarotti was a musician; a teacher; a painter and very involved in and supporting causes worldwide. man. The museum is very well organised over 3 floors and a pleasure to visit and listen short musical illustrations. Special thanks to Alecia (unsure if the spelling is correct - sorry) on the reception desk for organising our taxi back into Modena. Thank you
A wonderful and very emotional visit, the audio guide tour was very informative and easy to use. It was a privilege to be able to visit such a personal home of a much loved performer.
All the museum items the order and photos and paintings Only is pity that without car is dificult to get there
Pavarotti’s House visit The house is located in a beautiful place accesible only by car or taxi. Eh house reflects the great life of the Maestro. The visit has an audio guide that helps to understand his life. We recommend everyone who loves music to visit Pavarotti’s house.
If you are a fan or a casual listener of opera this is a great place to visit. It is emotional and insightful. It was a pleasant surprise to see his home so carefully curated into this experience where you feel like you are at your friend's home. Definitely worth the trip out to the home that is 15 minutes by taxi outside of Modena. Highly recommend.
Very moving experience. Travel thru the maestros life and home. Much more impressive than we thought.
Honest, emotional, delightful, everything you would want. It doesn’t need a long review just confirmation it is worth it in every way. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves and only towards the end of our visit did a rather loud private guide appear and disturb some of the magic. If I was to suggest anything it would be that only their audio guides were allowed so that people can remain in their own blissful thoughts. Talking of any kind is not necessary.
A wonderful self guided tour. Incredible museum with wonderful memories of Pavarotti. Only draw back is that is a 20 euro ride from Modena…but we’ll worth it!
This place holds a lot of emotions, even for those who may not know the Maestro that much. His music and his presence are all around and I’m so glad that his Family made it possible for everyone to come “visit” Luciano, at home. Very well organized, the audio guide is very informative and practical. I highly recommend this stop. Unfortunately we passed by on a Monday hence could not try the restaurant right nearby, which would have been the cherry on the cake!
Wow!!! Incredible insight of a career covering 40 years. We experienced the homely and personal environment of an Icon with his private home open to the public and shared his life and achievements. Beautiful county setting in a peaceful Modena rural area where the Maestro could live, work and relax. We fondly treasure every moment.....
We all know and have heard Pavarotti concerts, but this intimate visit will reintroduce you to his entire life and all his wonderful accomplishments including many of the more famous concerts. My wife and I visited mid-morning on a weekday and were among only 3 other visitors in late September. If possible, I suggest going early as the museum undoubtedly fills up with the occasional tour bus and later in the day. It was a very special experience with no other people talking or mingling around us. You can easily take a full hour or possibly two enjoying the extremely well presented life of Pavarotti's home and his life achievements. Most everything is just as he left it and all the rooms are available to see including living, kitchen, bathrooms and even his closets, with all his hats and scarves! On an upper floor there is a large display of his own memorabilia and photos with other famous people with his music and singing on a large screen playing continuously in the background. Highly recommended!
The Pavarotti ticket was included in our day trip bundle with the ferrari museums and a winery, and it was the part of the day I had no expectations of. I am not an opera lover and really didn’t know what to expect at all. The house is beautiful but also quite modest for a man of such fame and fortune. The audio tour is a must as it gives you an in depth guide but it really keeps you interested as you make your way through the many incredible rooms and exhibits. The glass roof over the centre of the house is a must see. Be sure to take your time as you make your way through the house, I found myself captivated as I realised how highly regarded he was by some of the most important people across the globe. The behind the scenes rehearsal videos do not fail to make you smile and really convey the character of a wonderful man. Heading down to the basement you learn of the great charity work he undertook, something that I was not aware of the scale of and you can enjoy clips from the many Pavarotti and friends concerts. I arrived as a sceptic and left as a fan, a truly incredible human who I wish I could have seen perform in the flesh. For a house that was full of music it really is the most peaceful and calming environment and one that I never wanted to leave. I will be going back to Modena just to visit the house again.
Fantastic tour, incredible discovery of the life of this enormous artist!!! Thank you for making this tour possible
I was at the museum over lunchtime and, after a short instruction, was able to "meander" through the rooms on my own with an audio guide 🙂 Everything was prepared perfectly and explained wonderfully. Through "LuPa" I not only learned about his talent for singing but also a lot about his other life and work.
A must for all opera lovers and even if you love music in general. Many beautiful memories of this great world artist and all the people he loved and met or sang with. The house is nice, the exhibition is very well organized.
Very moving! Absolutely worth discovering.
Worked out great, everyone on site was very friendly. A nice memory of Pavarotti was preserved there.
You visit this museum with emotion; I keep a very beautiful memory of it. To do and do again
Being able to enter the rooms where Luciano Pavarotti lived was exciting: you get a sense of the delicacy and greatness of spirit that always distinguished him. It is a hymn to the joy of living. Highly recommended
