The museum is walking distance from the train station. The gift shop and mechanical exhibit is inside the old family home and workshop. There is a mew modern building, in the shape of a racing bonnet, that is a large room filled with vintage Ferraris that were owned by famous musicians, ie Cher, Madonna, Miles Davies, Pavarotti, Eric Clapton, etc. They call it the “Hit Lost”. There is also a cool little short film projected onto the wall that tells the story of Enzo Ferrari and Modena. For a fee, you can take your photo in a Ferrari and also drive a simulator! There is also a cafe and gift shop. I really loved the experience!

Interesting history of the cars and the people who purchased them. It was fun to experience this with friends.
This is a great minimalistic representation of the Ferrari Cars.. a truly well laid out collection and very informative.
Relatively expensive to see just a few cars… half the price would be ok. We paid 30€ per person.
Terrible staff, extremly rude, disrespectful and unhelpful - constantly yell at you for non existent rules or for not seeing signs that are not placed properly. Overpriced bad products that break easily. Taking a photo with an old damage car costs you 20 euros. All of the cars in the exhibitions are not even cleaned properly. The 10 minute film they let you watch looks as if it was made by an 8 year old who just discovered capcut for a history project. Ferrari is probably rolling over in his grave.
Wonderful museum. Beautiful cars. Recommend going to this museum. Loved learning about the history of Ferrari.
Was not aware of the Biggest Hits display of famous owners. I would have thought the memorial of Zenzo’s past deserved more donation and history.
The Rock & Roll Legends' cars were interesting but I expected more interactivity and explanation. The audio program was OK but not very extensive. The video about Enzo was interesting but not very well done.
Great museum of the history and designer cars. Easy to find. Well laid out. Enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend.
I really enjoyed the tie to musicians and their cars. I enjoyed seeing Pavarotti’s, Cher’s, Madonna’s, Eric Claption’s and Miles Davis’ Ferraris.
A wonderful display of Ferrari's most iconic road cars with an app that relates each car to an owner in the music world. Really well done.
The museum is definitely worth a visit. Beautiful cars and engines on display. Very nice cafe is on the property. Street parking is limited so that’s a bit of a challenge
It was informative and fun to see all the cars and equipment. We took lots of pictures and had a great espresso and snack in the cafe
We booked through TripAdvisor, but because of flight disruption we arrived a day early. They wouldn't let us in, we had to pay for new tickets, even though not busy, inside is hardly a great experience, dreamed up by a marketing person who doesn't understand cars. Not many cars on show, no open doors or bonnets so u can see inside the cars. Overall disappointed.
Much larger and entertaining than I expected. We had planned to spend an hour there and ended up spending just over 2 hours.
If you are a Ferrari Fan this is the Museum for you. Merchandise is over priced and cafe costs more than necessary. Other than that worth a visit.
Worth a visit. The museum is within walking distance from the train station, and there's also a cafe inside.
Cannot really go to Modena and not visit the Enzo Ferrari Museum but……it was expensive - €160 for four of us including entrance to the Museum Ferrari Marenello- and smaller than anticipated. Some great exhibits but slightly underwhelming. Ferrari made a profit of €1.5 billion in ‘24, do they need to charge quite this much for the museum?
A must for all sports car fans. The setting is amazing. Enzo Ferrari’s former home and an ultra modern hanger. Inside are a small but amazing collection of classic Ferraris. A GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, etc. Also Nigel Mansell’s F1 car was amazing to see. It’s an hour or two of entertainment for an enthusiast rather than a day out. But if you are in Modena I would highly recommend it. There’s a cafe and shop onsite too.
Spacious modern display hall near the centre of Modena (10 min walk from station) and some very nice Ferrari on display. But there is so much empty space, so many more cars could have been on display, and more information about Enzo and the cars history. There was a short film telling Enzos story, but I a more engaging peocess, maybe using a phone app would have made the experience more appealing. Therewas a separate older bulding with a couple of cars and several engines on display, but again little information. There is also a shop selling expensive Ferrari branded clothing. I found the "welcome, are you English? DONT TOUCH THE EXIBITS!' a little abrupt too!
Definitely worth the time and $$. It’s a small museum - you can do it in just a couple of hours at the most. Nice cafe and outdoor space too.
It may be my first one star review, I faced for the first time such a rudeness from the box office girl, what confused me that i saw how she treat nicely the previous customer, after her bad behavior with me, i was trying to finish my bad experience with her as soon as possible so i paid 100 euros, she said they don’t accept, i gave her 50 she returned rudely saying no, at the end she asked nervously where i am from, is this the criteria to treat people according to racist prejudgement relating to witch country they belong? So i cancelled my second visit to the other museum in Maranello after the ruined my day. Kindly teach your staff to be more professional and being a part of a nice travel experience of others.
We loved it! The little movie that they show is exceptional, we were super excited to discover Enzo Ferrari’s story and find out more about how Ferrari cars were constructed. The only inconvenience - I would not buy the ticket online again, we did it wanting to avoid the que yet we had to do the same que in order to “validate” our ticket makes no sense. Otherwise I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you !
This was a great experience. I didn’t know much about Enzo Ferrari & I was very impressed with the whole museum. I highly recommend it. It’s also fun to look at all the cars.
This is a must for any car lovers or not! It gave us an insight into everything Ferrari. Convenient for all. Modena is a quiet town, so this museum gives them a tourist trade.
We were very dissappointed with this. Only one race car,a few old cars and the bulk of the exhibition the latest models so it was like a showroom in Dubai.
At 32 euros each, you'd expect a lot. You don't get it. A number of cars, of course. An okay video ad for the greatness of Ferrari. A small, rather dull exhibition of Ferrari memorabilia (or perhaps they should be called relics, since this is more of a shrine than a museum.) A really confident company would hire a serious curator and look at the ups and downs of this business; this is pure worship at a high price. Very little content, no context but the a/c was a relief.
WOW WOW WOW WHAT CAN I SAY BUT WOW. When booking our trip from Australia with travel agent this was a high priority on our list of places to visit being F1 fans. BOY We were not disappointed it is a fantastic tour & so informative of Enzo Ferrari’s rise in the car industry. All the employees who have helped & still are helping this family/company with their brilliant minds & designs are fantastic. This museum is set out beautifully & I love the way it is explained the stages of your car choosing exteriors & interiors to make the car to your unique expectations. Well done on a great set up.
We were excited and impressed by the detailed documentation of Enzo's work and a short biography of his life project on a short documentary. However, there was no clear reason why he decided to stop racing and become a car manufacturer incomparated into the docuvideo
Great Exhibition would have like to have seen more cars if possible. Love the short movie and the presentation
Loved the history of Enzo’s involvement in racing and his recognition opened the opportunity for engineering and manufacturing. It was focused on the team effort. Also the hybrid power chassis was intriguing. Especially seeing it with the finished body work.
Loved learning about how Enzo got started and of course loved all of the vintage and newer Ferraris.
We went because of the packaged ticket with the Ferrari museum. Being overwhelmed by the cars in the museum we visited first, I was more into the very architecture of the hanger and the interesting layout of the cars. Overpriced shop
The whole museum was perfect. Very impressive! Loved the office and the various engines. Gift shop was a complete money grab rip-off.
This was one of the most credited attraction by my teens from our recent stay in ITA. We actually saw both Ferrari sites Modena and Maranello. The only thing which I don't follow is that family ticket price changed and on ticket desk nobody reflected the prices shown online/web. Shame that this happens to such a brand.
Small museum. Features special cars and info on Ferrari as this was his childhood home. Did not have time to go to other larger museum outside of Modena but there’s a combo ticket that gets you to both which would be best if you can.
A MUST for any moorhead! Really interesting and wonderfully presented museum focussed on Enzo Ferrari's period with the Company.
Maddalena, our guide, was fantastic. We got an education on the centuries old production process, the history of the family and marketing throughout the times, and a tour and tasting packed a ton of info into a 90 minute glorious tour. All for free. Just go.
Eye watering 22 euro entry price to see around 20 cars and a few items if clothing. They offered a 7 minute driving simulator experience for 25 EUROS which I did not do - but I watched others do it and it didn't look worth 10 euros nevermind 25... They also try and charge 25 euros for a photo in a ferrari... luckily I got someone else in the queue to take a photo at the same time to avoid paying. Hefty entry price with £100 of lame optional extras... it is possible to buy a joint ticket to see the Ferrari factory in another town, I've no idea if that is so good that it makes the combined price worth it as I only visited the Modena museum.
Worth a short train trip from Bologna to visit this lovely museum. Very well organised and very informative. We both enjoyed the trip.
Would have been nice to see old repairs tools and how they built the cars for a bit more history on the shop
Misleading as this is not in Maranello near the Ferrari factory and Ferrari museum but Modena miles away. So we cancelled on the day with no refund offered. Best museum is in Maranello, well worth a visit
It was basically a car exhibition from iconic Ferrari models - which isn’t bad at all - but I would have seen more about Enzo Ferrari’s life, because those parts where they detailed his personal life were pretty perfunctory and short. However, the exhibition space is incredibly beautiful and modern, you should definitely visit this place if you are interested in cars.
Neat to see the Ferrari museum. Didn’t seem to be a reason to buy tickets ahead of time since we could have bought them when we arrived, but it was nice to have them. I wouldn’t make a special trip to go to the museum, but it was right on our way from Florence to Milan, and we were glad we went.
If you love cars you’ll love this museum . Full of iconic Ferraris . Absolutely stunning . Museum was well set out clean bright and the staff were very friendly !
Great opportunity to understand the story of the visionary Enzo Ferrari and his passion to speed and engines. A unique experience to be side by side to some of the most desired Ferraris ever. Very beautiful pavillion.
Far too expensive for something that takes an hour at most. We €72, for 2 adults and 2 children. A large hall and the house/office. You must be a very big Ferrari fanatic. I think there are 25 cars.
We were disappointed, difficult to park nothing planned for. And the cars presented are dusty, the price is expensive and the museum small. Too bad.
A joke...exorbitant ticket price considering the content offered: a dozen cars and 4 engines... Same for the shop (keychain at 45€ minimum) where the sellers are probably commissioned since they are ready to fight to rip the items from the hands of customers to bring them to the checkout (seen)... Luckily we didn’t make a detour for that but were in Modena on a rainy day... Can be nice for the great aficionados who will be able to see where the house of Enzo Ferrari was..
Something about the other reviews in advance. Yes, I don’t spend 35€ on a coffee cup or 30€ on a driving simulator. I find both overpriced. BUT, no one forces me to do so and for this reason it has no influence on my review of the museum. We were there in the morning and there was not much going on at the beginning. We spent about two hours in the museum (two houses). And if you read everything that is written about history and the cars and not just watch cars, you need that time too. Yeah, I'd also rather see one or the other model. However, this is a personal matter. In our opinion, the history and history of the brand is excellently reflected. There are vehicles and engines from all decades. The movie gave me goose bumps. In the end we left the simulator and the store on the left and went on to Maranello. Together with this museum, we spent six hours immersed in the history of Ferrari and did not regret it, even at the price of 88€ for three people. Those who complain about Ferrari have never been to Lamborghini or BMW.
