This guide was amazing! The experiences at all the different locations was great. I wish I had read the text beforehand as you needed to book and pay an admission fee for some of the places. The tour took me around 2 hours but that was without going into the different paid experiences. The area was pretty quiet with minimal crowds, which made it easy to look around freely! The tour is best people that want to learn more about Modena and want to see all the best places without just wondering around! My husband went to the Ferrari museum so this tour was ideal for me to go a look around and it’s the tour took help me!

In the first decades of the twentieth century, the Administration commissioned the design of a space dedicated to the food market. The Market is known for the authenticity of the products and the sincerity of the direct relationships with the sellers. Here we are finally in the main square of Modena! Get ready because we will find a lot of “gems” in this place! Modena Cathedral, The Ghirlandina , Ringadora stone and a lot of curiosities are waiting for you here!
The Town Hall of Modena is one of the most significant buildings in the city and is a collection of historic buildings that have been unified over the centuries. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, when it was built to house the city’s government institutions.
The Municipal Theater of Modena, built starting in 1841 during the dukedom of Francesco IV, was designed by the architect Francesco Vandelli. After the death of Luciano Pavarotti, the theater was named in his name to honor the memory and exceptional career of the famous tenor from Modena, considered one of the greatest interpreters of opera of the 20th century. The Ducal Palace of Modena is considered one of the first examples of Baroque architecture in Europe and represents a seventeenth-century masterpiece. The Palazzo Ducale in Modena currently houses the Military Academy, so it is not usually accessible for independent visits. Access is permitted exclusively via guided tours and upon reservation. Tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays. Ticket cost: 10€

When we talk about cars, we immediately think of Ferrari, one of the most well-known and prestigious brands in the world, a symbol of Made in Italy quality. A good way to take in the sights of Modena. Really liked being able to move at our own pace and stop to explore areas whilst there. The food recommendations were really good. Only took us an hour and a half or so. Slightly annoying that the voiceover had some quite bad pronunciation of the Italian place names/people.
It was interesting to download the sites to visit with history of the various places we visited. It was very convenient to do the walk on your own at your own pace and read about the stops. Matteo's research was very informative.
I thought the Walking Cap Modena Walking Tour was value for money if used to its full potential. It’s an easy way to explore a city at your own pace. I liked that I could play, pause and replay the attraction information. I will use this this type of walking tour again. https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g187803-d28132723-Modena_Walking_Tour_with_Audio_and_Written_Guide_by_a_Local-Modena_Province_of_Mod.html
This tour covers most of everything you would like to see in Modena. The best thing is that you can go at your own pace. Would recommend.
Second tour that I was unable to share with my husband, my traveling partner we still do not know how to get the program onto his phone what does buying two tickets mean if only one person can use the device?
audio tour and link did not work. tried to download the audio tour and i was warned not to as it is spam/scam
Very interesting. A nice audio guide of the city. I live in Modena by many years but never known some of the features listen
We had a great time! We enjoed the Town usinp Walkingcap. Thanks a lot.....fantastico....we Will use that application again.
It’s was easy and useful. The first place was next to my hotel and the people in the tourist office was very kind and clear either the directions.
Excellent way to see the highlights of the city and learn their importance/significance at your own pace. Highly recommend.
Brilliant idea! Went at our own pace; could listen or read . Lovely variety of anecdotes and so easy to follow. Links are excellent too. Would highly recommend and going to use for our next city too. A great experience, thank you.
A bit complicated for me to use the guide, I do not recommend it at all.
Fairly well-made audio guide Several languages available. Several good explanations, but a few more photos could have been included in the tour. The only more negative point is that it is a web page, so it is mandatory to have mobile data, but above all, sometimes the page reloads, so we have to "scroll" until we find where we were. But it is not serious enough to miss out on it! 😁
Very good, you can follow it at your own pace, no need to meet anyone, just recommend headphones
AI voices are annoying. The language is monotonous, the pronunciation is often incorrect, the translations are literal - and idioms cannot be translated directly.
"A truly pleasant experience!" Matteo created a clear, interesting, and curiosity-rich audio guide that allowed us to visit Modena completely independently. Well-organized itinerary, perfect for discovering the city in a day without missing the most important points. Highly recommended!
Simple beautiful tour covers everything you can see of beautiful, interesting and curiosity, leaving time for everything and everyone. We were in 4 families. Thank you.
An alternative to guided tours, easy to enjoy. We used it in two days. I recommend it to those who want to have an experience without too many constraints.
It was very easy to activate the online guide. Very good and engaging driving. It was a really good discovery
I found the guide useful, simple to use and convenient because it is linked to Google Maps. Interesting that you can listen to short audio. Even in a different order from the one proposed
Valid alternative to visit Modena without time constraints. The route is predefined but you can interrupt it and start again as you like. Links to the various historic buildings of the tour (useful for timetables and ticket costs), info on typical products of the area and the places where to taste them are also indicated.
Very useful to get around the city to visit and practical for adults and children. I will definitely take advantage of this offer in other cities
Very useful and practical guide to know the main points of the old town. Very convenient indications of tickets and prices to visit the different sites of interest.
