We had a wonderful two-day tour with Beatrice—without a doubt one of the best guides we've ever had. She shared fascinating stories, hidden gems, and local secrets, all with incredible kindness and genuine care. She made Milan come alive for us. If you're visiting the city, don't miss the chance to explore it with her. Highly recommended!

Tucked between the grand Galleria and the buzz of the fashion district, Piazza San Fedele feels like Milan’s little secret garden. Locals come here to read, chat, or just take a break from the city’s chaos — always under the watchful gaze of philosopher Alessandro Manzoni, whose statue stands proudly in the center. Fun fact: he actually fell right here, in front of the church and this brought him to death! A peaceful square with a dramatic twist
Take a leisurely walk through some of Milan’s most beautiful historic palaces and discover the city’s best hidden gems, tucked away in quiet courtyards and elegant side streets — all while admiring the most glamorous shopping windows in the world
Just a few steps from the high-end fashion chaos of via Montenapoleone, you’ll find Milan’s quietest surprise: the Quadrilatero del Silenzio. It’s a dreamy corner of the city where Art Nouveau villas, hidden gardens, and... actual flamingos live in peace. Yes, real flamingos. Locals love to stroll here to escape the noise and pretend, just for a moment, that Milan is made of poetry and pastel-colored palaces. Silence never looked so chic.
Porta Venezia is where Milan’s elegance meets its vibrant, open-minded spirit. Stately 19th-century buildings and grand boulevards frame a neighborhood full of life — from art nouveau facades and leafy parks to cool cafés, vintage shops, and buzzing bars. It’s a place where locals jog through Giardini Pubblici in the morning and sip natural wine by evening. Diverse, dynamic, and effortlessly stylish, Porta Venezia is one of Milan’s most authentic souls.

The guy did an awesome job, taking us around and telling us about all the little places around Millan. It was an awesome experience with him enjoyed him very much.
This was a great tour and we got to see a different Milan than just the touristy spots. It was quiet streets, beautiful gardens and interesting architecture. Marco was fantastic guide and really gave us a lot of history to the places we visited. I would recommend this tour for anyone who visits!!!
Really a great tour where we saw a different Milan. Really some beautiful and peaceful places away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist places. Marco was an AWESOME guide and really gave us a great experience!!
This tour highlights beautiful parts of the city that you might not otherwise see. Simon is an excellent tour guide. Really enjoyable.
Marco was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. He showed us a side of Milan that we would’ve never seen on an ordinary tour and we enjoyed it so much. visit the Duomo and all of the sites that are on a typical Milan itinerary another way - but do not miss this tour and this gem of a guide!!
Marco was fabulous! He took us to the hidden gems of Milan and shared his love of the history of beautiful Milan. If history is your thing, Marco is your guy!
Marco was a perfect guide. We had a great time he answered all of our questions and showed us all the great architecture of the city that you might not normally realise is there.
Nice amd interactive guide. Learned about places we would have never known if we were on our own. If you have extra days in Milan worth it.
Marco was a lovely guide although quite softly spoken. It was a "private" tour just the 3 of us so he was very attentive, informative and amenable. We saw places we might have missed and his knowledgable was interesting. He gave us lots of hints and tips and answered loads of questions from us even if they didn't relate to tour! We didn't see the flamingos in the photo that promoted the tour but I asked and he directed us, so we saw them!
The tour was well organised and the tour guide Simone was very knowledgeble on the history of Mlan. He was friendly and welcoming. We saw places less populated by tourist but still worth visiting. My favourite part was seeing the flamingos, in the centre of the city!
Booked this for my mom’s birthday- honestly me and my sister didn’t expect much, but we were showed otherwise. Great part of the day exploring and learning about Milan’s history that we 100% wouldn’t get to know just by ourselfs. Marco answered all our questions and gave exellent tips and trics how to get around Milan and see more and have great taste of Milan’s best food places around. Can’t thank him enough! 🥳
We cruised the city, going from a sweet spot to another one with a nice fellow, flexible and interesting :) Loved it !
My other half and I had a very nice time. The tour guide (Simon) was very nice and very knowledgeable about the city. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Simon was so friendly and helpful. We discovered so many hidden gems and things we wouldn't have found ourselves, 10/10
Marco was professional and family friendly. We had a planned tour scheduled but decided last minute to make some changes. Without skipping a beat, Marco was accommodating and flexible to our needs. Marco made for a most enjoyable experience, he was all inclusive, very knowledgeable, professional and well versed. Thank you for making a memorable day! We look forward to the Lake Como adventure tomorrow.
Simone was excellent and the tour is very nice, it was great to discover Milano under a different light.
Even though we have been to Milan multiple times before, this tour with Simon was absolutely amazing, as he showed us the secret places we would never discover ourselves.
It was only Me and my boyfriend so it felt like a VIP trip trip led by Beatrice, she was brilliant, very fun, very detailed and she had a lot of knowledge about every little detail which made it very interesting to listen to it ❤️❤️ She is very funny so the trip wasn’t boring xxx
Beatrice is a flexible and nice tourguide. We had a private tour (because of corona). She customized the tour to our wish and had a lot of knowledge of the city.
We had a great tour with Beatrice ! We were a group of friends with a baby in a stroller. The tour was very enjoyable, Beatrice clearly loves her city and enjoys revealing its secrets. One of our group lives in Milan and discovered places as well during the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys going off the usual tourist track !
Good tour walk with Simone! I really enjoyed villa Necchi Campigli and the history of Piazza San Fedele
The tour was very interesting. Showing a central part of Milan that I knew very little about. And I was quite of a few times before in Milan.
Simon was great! He speaks good English, and took us to some beautiful and fascinating places. Even the children enjoyed!
Simon was a fantastic guide. V interesting and informative tour which the whole family enjoyed. Discovered lots of things you wouldn’t normally notice and learnt more about the history of the city
Great sightseeing tour around Milan, interesting monument and stories. I would highly recommend it :)
Simon ia very kind person, and the tour was very interesting. I really recommend this tour. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Very good tour, learnt a lot about Milan’s secret gems. would recommend to everyone and solo travellers.
Found a fantastic perspective of Milan, useful to understand the city and its different neighbourhoods, having the chance to know hidden aspects that make Milan special. Simon also gave us some historical background and was throughout the tour passionate about his city. He's an excellent guide. I'm thankful of his initiative of showing Milan with an inside perspective! I do highly recommend it.
I have to say you get what you pay for on this one. When I come back to Milan, I would totally skip this tour. The tour guide (Simone) we had was very busy talking to the other two ladies in Italian the entire time, walking totally ahead of us. It was like the 6 of us didn’t even exist. Most of the group felt totally left out. We walked through several side streets with n explanation at all. I think the most conversation we received was when he asked for the “donations” I wasn’t impressed at all and I felt like I wasted two hours. I’m so glad that I left this one for the end of my trip. I went on 4 paid tours with other companies while in Milan and they were fantastic.
I took the free tour with greg and it was wonderful. Abut 3 KM walking through the most important places in milan. I wery recommend to take this tour and get to know the city beter.
The tour was very nice and interesting. It was not too long and not too short. Also you don't have to walk far but you still get to know quite a few places. When I told a local about that tour and showed him pictures he agreed that this tour really shows you the secrets of Milan.
The tour was amazing, Bea showed us some of the most beutiful and less know places in Milan in a fun and relaxed way. I love architecture and we saw some really beautiful art Nouveau style hauses and we learn about crazy rich people in Italy! I had a lot of fun, I would highly recommend it.
During my trip I had only one day in Milan and joining Follow Mi Around was a great idea. I learned so much about not that common places in Milan. What is more, the best pizza I've eaten in Italy was one of recomended on their website. Thank you for your tips, which made visiting Milan so comfortable!
Bea gave us an amazing tour of hidden sights. She was relaxed, informative and entertaining. We saw a house decorated Art Nouveau style, live flamingoes in a large garden, a outside 100 year old heated swimming pool beside a statue by Arturi...., A brilliant tour. I would highly recommend using this group of enthusiastic Italians.
Followmiaround tour is a great way to discover Milan! Beatrice is a delight and tells you about the hidden gems of milan in a real funny and relaxing way. My kiddo and I were enchanted by her! Thank you so much
It was very fun, the guide was very kind and he didn't tell too much details so it didn't get boring. It was an amazing tour and I recommend it to everyone. It ended at an ice cream shop, which is awesome.
I did the Secret Milan Tour with Nico and Walking Tour with Beatrice last month. They were very cool, genuine and resourceful. Thanks for the guidance not only during the tours, but also with finding good food afterwards.
I did two tours with this company. They were both the best things we did o In Milan. I highly recommend.
We spontaneously decided to take a free tour and it was really valuable to all of us. Thx so much! The guide really seemed to feel the city and to love the city. He is a local and obviously know sooo much about Milano and Italy in general. I usually don't like to listen to historical stuff but he told us about all the details in such a funny and genuine way, that it was really enjoyable. Thank you for this amazing afternoon! :)
LOVED! Loves the tour. I took a different pre-paid tour the day before and I was falling asleep ($114 later 😾) this was short and sweet and to the point and fun. Interactive and interesting. Just do it! Don’t forget to tip...its free afterall.
The morning in the Brera art gallery, beautiful works enriched by a splendid collection of Armani.Ora lunch I had booked a vintage place, but beautiful: "Risoelatte" not far from the cathedral. We had a risotto alla milanese and an ossobuco. Returning home, Gallarate, in Busto Arsizio we stop to see the "Grace " at the cinema.
Marco makes you discover Milan through a journey that touches lesser-known and splendid parts at the same time. The tour with him is pleasant thanks to his professionalism and sympathy. Super recommended!!!Bravo!
We met with Marco at the appointed place - he was just a little late but immediately answered our inquiry. Marco is very interested and knowledgeable. Good to give time for questions and good to explain - both about impressions on the trip but also about general conditions. Very interested in the people around. Really nice trip and nice to see other than all the tourist places. Ended with a nice recommendation for froksot pizzas!
Beatrice led us to the street art works in Milan. It was funny, interesting, informative and entertaining. You can't do a tour like this any better. That's because of her talent, her knowledge and her personality. She was happy to respond to our individual wishes and questions. Anytime we would book FollowMI around again.
The best way to visit a city is to definitely book this tour We had as a guide a guy really prepared and very enthusiastic about his work He showed us details and facets of a city that we knew but only superficially Lifting our eyes and opening our ears our brilliant guide made us "trot" for two hours!! It was nice, interesting, fun but above all to recommend Thanks Marco
Beautiful tour with guide Simone very prepared and very kind We visited places unknown to us and that we would never see
Great! We got a wonderful tour with inside tips and professional explanations at secret spots in Milan.
The tour was cancelled due to limited bookings and I was offered a private tour. The full amount paid was refunded but it is a regret as a dear friend was in Milan and could only Sunday.
I attended the secret tour of Milan on 20/6. Simone, our guide, showed us some hidden beauties of Milan. It was really a meaningful and fun experience at the same time. Simone and 'a guide prepared, impeccable and great knowledge .. A true Cicero! I recommend everyone to spend a day like this
