Our tour guide was knowledgeable with a clear love for La Scala and its history, and the tour so impressive. Definitely recommend.

Lovely experience with beautiful La scala opera house. The guide was very informative and helpful in explaining the house
Tour guide Renata was engaging and provided very good explanation of the history of the theatre. Thoroughly enjoyable and length of tour was perfect.
i thought we would see the theater and back-stage areas. No; the tour was limited to the museum that is attached to the opera house: rooms with portraits, photos, and some musical instruments. The tour began at 11:30 and was over by 12:30 (could have been shorter); the house itself was not lit until 1pm when we could go by ourselves to look at it from a box. No set sonstage, just the curtain. Disappointing!
Our guide was excellent! We learned so much of the history and politics of la Scala. This was a surprise to us. And the musical influences were icing on the cake, not to mention how beautiful it is inside.
Very interesting. Our tour guide, Renata, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of La Scala. It is a must do tour while in Milan.
TMI! The opera performance area is beautiful with red velvet and gilt. If only the history of every opera star portrayed in each room could have been acknowledged and moved on. Our heads were spinning with too many details. Our guide was heavily accented and talked from a script. Again.. Sorry
This is a a really good tour. You don’t have be be an opera lover or aficionado to appreciate the beauty and the history. It was a good way to learn about an important aspect of Milan. We had a chance to watch some an orchestra and singers rehearse in La Scala! Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. Highly recommended.
Not worth the tour…nothing very exciting to see…just buy a ticket and walk through on your own. Very nice tour guide but extremely boring. Little incite, few good stories, or useful information… hard to understand, (not hard to hear, but difficult to grasp her English or her point). People in the group were actually on their cell phones during the tour! Waste of time.
Absolutely wonderful experience with an excellent guide! Learned so much about the history of the opera and of Milan. Clear explanations by the guide and willingness to answer questions.
Excellent tour. Skipped the lines to enter La Scala. The venue is incredible and the tour guide was very knowledgable. Her insights enhanced our visit and gave more depth to the historic theater.
Excellent tour of La Scala and the theatre museum. Excellent guide A shame we couldn't see the theatre lit up!
We enjoyed visiting La Scala and would highly recommend it for especially people like us who regularly attend classical concerts. History and the grandeur of the place permeates its walls. Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable about its history and was very good with details that made visiting visiting worthwhile.
VERY BAD! Tour, it was a small group and the guide lost the control, it looked like she did not prepare the activity, she blamed everything on the opera’s dress rehearsal. Not worth your time and money!
Anyone going to Milan needs to take this tour! The guide was amazing and you can clearly tell she has a love for the Opera and the arts. She was so passionate about the theatre!
The guide did a fantastic job of explaining the theatre’s history and design and spent a little too long on the singers. Overall money well spent. Got to get in a private box. Would have been great to get back stage.
Maria did a great job of explaining the history of La Scala. Amazing. Quite a bit of standing but worth it.
This tour provides a brief tour of the opera house itself and a more detailed tour of the museum in the building. The museum is probably geared more towards those who go to operas, ballets, and classical music concerts and have some familiarity with them. I found it very interesting and enjoyable, as it highlighted photos and memorabilia of many of the great performers from Milan and Italy. We did get to see the interior of the opera stage and seating areas however only through a window from one of the boxes. For me and some guests this was fine, as we were planning to see a show that evening. However if you are not seeing a show at the opera house you should be aware you probably won’t be permitted to enter the actual show room itself. It is a beautiful opera house, and I am pleased to have done this tour and see a concert there as well.
Very knowledgeable tour. Excellent guide with lots of facts about la scala and its origins and history
Amazing tour of an amazing building. Highly recommend this tour. Wonderful guide with great knowledge of opera and La Scala.
Fabia was a fantastic guide! She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of La Scala and provided very interesting anecdotes about the opera. We got to see the inside of the theatre and stand in the boxes for that viewpoint. Overall a truly memorable experience!
Tour guide Paola spoke very good English and knew her history. La Scala was breathtaking. I’m coming back next time with an opera ticket in hand!!
An enjoyable and interesting experience with a very well informed guide. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
Perfect 1.5 hour tour of the theater providing the history of the building and performers. Paula was great!
Too many emails and not clear instructions for how to meet the guide. Tour guide was excellent and the tour was also very enjoyable
Very experienced and knowledgeable guide, Simone. He was quite passionate too about La Scala and opera in general.
Visiting La Scala was amazing. Beautiful venue and I learned more about opera in 90 minutes than I ever knew before and it was fascinating. Lots of cool things to do in Milan, but if you’ve got a spare 90 minutes or so it is well worth it. And, the guide - Simon was great and you could hear, see, and feel his love for La Scala.
The full your of the beautiful La Scala Theater was amazing. My tour guide was thorough and excellent.
An incredible experience to see the legendary theater and learn the history of the great artistic personalities who performed there. Our guide Anna Maria was terrific, knowledgeable and full of wonderful stories and anecdotes. Highly recommend!
Our guide brought not only her knowledge, but her enthusiasm. It was the very best part of our 14-day trip. Thank you so much
My visit to La Scala was absolutely wonderful, and the guide made the experience truly exceptional. She was probably the best guide I have had on our trip so far! She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate, taking the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. I was honestly amazed by how interesting and memorable she made the tour. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Our tour guide was wonderful, I do not remember her name but she was a lovely woman who was very knowledgeable in explaining the history and significance of the Teatro Scala. You can tell she really loves her job and she gets to share her passion with the guests on her tour. We had a great experience!
Our tour guide was exceptional. I have issues climbing steps and she made sure I was able to take a lift to the second floor. She was extremely knowledgeable, she talked to everyone so that no one felt left out and I learned things that I never would have visiting on my own. She got us into the opera House sitting to see it from a booth before practice .I can't say enough good things about her. I would highly recommend this tour with her being our guide.
The wolf, Chiara, was very organized and knowledgeable. She kept track of all the individuals in her charge. It was enjoyable having a local and passionate guide leading us to so many stops. I hope she is available when we return to Italy and heading up a tour we pick. The tour organizer is fortunate to have her!!
Excellent history of La scala Wonderful to see the opera house and the crews on stage managing sets.
Our guide was outstanding! We learned so much about the history of La Scala and were able to see inside a box with the original ceiling! We walked through the museum admiring the memorabilia through the years. It was an informative, engaging experience!
It was a lot more than expected — all great and the enthusiasm of the guide made it very special and personal. Thank You!
Excellent visit to the museum and theatre. Very informative, relaxed pace and freedom to return to any area for longer time after the tour. Make sure you find the entry point at the side and do not wait at the front doors on the street.
Marta was a fantastic guide. She was kind and enthusiastic. Highly recommend this tour. La Scala is incredible!
This was a great experience with a very good guide. The meet up was well organised and the tour was fascinating. Of course the view of the La Scala theatre were mind blowing, but the history and museum artefacts were equally interesting.
The guide was very informative and helpful. The experience was very enjoyable and we highly recommend it to everyone visiting Milan. Plan a time when performances are hairline.
Absolutely loved our La Scala Museum tour! It was fascinating to discover the history, stories, and incredible treasures behind such an iconic opera house. Our guide made the experience engaging and memorable. A must-do when visiting Milan!
private tour, not worth the money. I took a similar small group tour 4 years ago booked directly through La Scala which was much better
Our tour guide was wonderful, providing details about the history of LaScala combined with history of Milan. She made sure we were not only able to see the inside of the LaScala Theatre but also an actual rehearsal. It was an unexpected amazing treat.
Laura has extensive knowledge of the La Scala Opera House and museum. We were very impressed with her. She explained everything very clearly and throughly.
We were so glad to get such an in depth tour of this historic building. We were sad to realize that we were coming to visit Milan at a time when there were no productions going on at La Scala, but getting to see the beauty and hear of the history of the opera house was really amazing. Silva knew so much about the history not only of La Scala but also about so many of the great performers, composers, and conductors that have graced the hallowed halls. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.
Our guide was so informative. I feel I gained a great deal of knowledge. She was able to adapt to our needs. As an older woman, the heat was too much at times.
Stephanie, our guide, was informative, kind and considerate. She made the museum come to life through her presentation. She gave muchbinsight to this beautiful theater.
This was supposed to be a small group tour but ended up to be a private tour! Kudos for not canceling me😊. Our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable! Many other visitors listened in because she was so interesting! Great tour!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the theatre, making for a very informative tour for people like myself, who know nothing about opera or ballet. My interest was in the architecture/design of the theatre and this was covered in detail.
