The tour was excellent! Paola was a great tour guide ... enough information but not over-powering or constant talking. She worked well with our group, understanding personal desires, accommodations and needs. The tour stops were excellent with no pressure. Van driver was very good. Wonderful organized tour!! We saw beautiful natural scene at como lake in Italy and at Alps in Switzerland. Foliage, deep valley and villages, radip waterfalls and clear lakes, cloud covering mountains and fancing historial buildings gave us the beautiful and memorial impressions. Guider Luca did good effort on organized trip and great job. It is very worth to join this tour.

This tour was amazing! From the time we met our tour guide Paola ( very easy to follow directions for the meeting place) to the full day tour and the train ride, everything went smoothly. The views were amazing but it was the personalized service that made it extra special. We really enjoyed the small group experience, feeling like old friends gathering and the personal service that was provided by Luca and Paola. I would highly recommend this tour out of Milan.

I would give this excursion 10 stars if I could. Our tour guide Luca made sure everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. We saw so many things and never felt rushed. Not only did we get to take the train to St. Moritz with so much beautiful scenery along the way, we spent time in Tirano and St. Moritz and also had a couple bonus photo stops to take pics with a glacier and a gorgeous waterfall. Luca was informative and entertaining the entire trip and made an effort to get to know everyone. I would highly recommend this excursion and request Luca!

Lucca helped us to see more of Italy and the Swiss Alps by expertly planning our day so we could make the most of our time. From a cafe stop in Lake Como to a wine tasting, a lunch in Turino, the Bernina Express ride through the Alps, and walking shops in St Moritz—it exceeded our expectations! Communication on our required train connections and meet up times at various stops was very clear. He is friendly, helpful, and our ride in the van was comfortable. Luca knows his history! I learned so many interesting things when we were riding along with him, it’s so interesting. I am a believer in trying things areas are known for or are well-liked, and I appreciate him telling us along the way. The Valtellina wine, pizzocello…Can’t wait to try the bresaola!

Even though the weather was not great the trip was still very good. Our guide was wonderful. I was not feeling too well and she was very caring and gave me all my options in case I did not want to continue on but as the day progressed I was feeling much better. She was very thorough with giving all of us a great overview of all the areas we went.

Absolutely breath taking views!! Giulia was the most outstanding tour guide! Very personable and extremely knowledgeable about all the areas we traveled. She made sure to get to know a little bit about everyone on our trip and made it extra special. We would love to do it again!!

This was such a fun and full experience! We explored a village on Lake Como for about 30 minutes and then spent another 30 minutes in St. Moritz, with several beautiful stops along the way for photos and restroom breaks. We had our 7-year-old son with us, and he thoroughly enjoyed himself! A huge shoutout to our guide, Paola, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and kept my very inquisitive 7-year-old entertained. She was knowledgeable, professional, patient, and wonderful with our family. The company was fantastic and this was a great way to see the highlights of Lake Como and St. Moritz when traveling on a short timeline. Their communication was also excellent. We were running about seven minutes late, and after messaging GetYourGuide, our guide responded immediately and coordinated an alternate meeting point. Overall, an amazing experience! Highly recommend this company, especially for families!

Jaw dropping train and van ride through the Swiss alps. Meet up was inside the Milan central station ticket gates for train side, then a transfer to the red train just south of the Switzerland border. Views from the red train were amazing and the dominant part of the experience. We stopped at 2 ski lifts to transfer back to our private van for the 30 min trip to St Moritz. We had 50 min in St moritz which we used to buy some AMAZING chocolates and a quick lake walk. Then we boarded van to drive to last train station. A total of 12 hours but throughly enjoyed , it was the highlight of our trip to Milan

What a highlight! Our tour guide Raffaele was the best, friendly and knowledgeable and made the day perfect. The scenery was breathtaking at every turn and is a must to see, we will be back for sure!

The day was absolutely fabulous, exactly as expected! The tour operator went above and beyond (including photos) to ensure clarity on meeting point (which is always stressful for me!) Also, Raffaelle sat our group on the train in a way that we could “share” window views at various points [there truly is no side that is better than the other. It changes during the journey!]

Raffaele and Luca made us feel like this was THE event to look forward to/speak about for the entirety of our trip - they are kind, funny, and made our long day feel effortless. Beautiful scenic views with great company!

Our Lake Como & Bernina Train experience was absolutely fabulous! Starting with clear communication from the tour operator about meeting time/ place (including photos!) … as meeting place is always a point of stress for me. Raffaelle met us and got us to the train where he sat us in a way that our group could “share” window views depending on which side had the best view at any given point. (Dispelling myth that sitting on one side is better than the other!!) We met our driver Luca who greeted us with kindness and together with Raffaelle were committed to ensuring our group had an excellent day! Everything was exactly as described/expected with breath taking views. I highly recommend this tour!

It is a full day trip from Milan, definitely worth doing if you can spare a day. Going through lake Como and catching the train to the Swiss alps. Luca was a great guide, careful driver, polite and very friendly.

From the very clear meet up directions to the last goodbyes, our tour guide Raphaele and driver Giuseppe made our 12 hour excursion into the Swiss Alps an amazing experience. We met at the Milan train station and our small group boarded a very nice, clean and comfortable luxury van. We spent the first part of our tour traveling to Lake Como and a quick stop to the lovely Nera vineyard where we had a private tour led by Raphaele. After a quick glass of wine and snacks, we drove up to board the Bernina train. The scenery was absolutely stunning, our guide gave us just the right amount of history and information. He was delightful and created a feeling of belonging in our small group. We couldn’t have been more pleased. After our gorgeous train journey, we stopped briefly in St.Moritz. Our driver drove through the scary mountain switchbacks so smoothly, he was a true professional. I couldn’t recommend this tour company, our guide Raphaele and driver Giuseppe more highly. It was a tour that I will never forget!

This is a must do experience if you are visiting Northern Italy. A detour into the Swiss Alps is the perfect complement. The sites from the drive, the stop at Lake Como, and all aspects of the Bernina train ride are simply breathtaking. Our guide Luca was the best, so friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. He made an already amazing adventure even better. He even drew up little maps and told what to expect every step of the way!

Expect an unbelievably beautiful train ride through the Swiss Alps. This was truly the highlight of our time in Milano. Picturesque views at every turn, we were amazed by the sheer beauty of terrain. Paola our tour guide was phenomenal. We took the train into Bellano to meet our driver Ivan and stopped along our route to Torano for a quick stretch and break. We had lunch in Torano before boarding the train for an unforgettable experience! Extra plus of having a small group, Paola was extremely helpful and personable!!!

A perfect experience. Paula told us everything we nèeded to know, very useful info from it's history till now. A wonderful experience, the views are to die for, well worth doing and experiencing. We loved it. The trip back was a bit long but there were 2 accidents and many people catching the train. Go and you won't regret it.

We cannot speak highly enough of Luca’s tour. It was an excellent trip with great views, good information, and well-timed and planned stops. We met our tour facilitator at the Milan Central Station, where she helped us board the regional train that would take us to Bellano on Lake Como to meet our tour guide. Our guide Luca was waiting for us at the Bellano train station and was easy to spot. We boarded his tour van and set out for our first stop along the shores of Lake Como for photos, coffee, and restrooms. We then departed for the drive to Tirano, stopping along the way at a farmer’s co-op, where we enjoyed some of the best gelato we’ve ever eaten. At Tirano, we boarded the Bernina Red Train for the trip through the alps. Luca gave us instructions and left to drive to our meeting spot on the other end of the train ride. The train trip itself was breathtaking, with stunning views everywhere you looked. We met Luca at the other end and drove to St. Moritz for shopping and sight-seeing before returning by van to the regional train station to return to Milan. Luca provided great information along the entire trip as well as provided us with details we would need (such as a marked map for the train trip pointing out specific points of interest and photo opportunities). The stops were well planned. We highly recommend Luca and his tour.

We had an amazing day on the Bernina Scenic Train through the Alps. Our guide, Giulia was the absolute best!! Very knowledgeable, engaging and extremely kind. We would recommend this trip for anyone visiting that part of Italy.

There are some moments in life that leave one speechless, this trip was one of them, just as expected!! Marvelous! Magnificent! Luca is very special in his way, explaining every place with vast knowledge and passion, his connection to each landmark was evident. We enjoyed every minute, and actually wished it were even a 2-day experience. Leaving busy Milan and riding the gorgeous train via Como and the Swiss Alps within just a couple hours was simply a dream that will stay with us forever!

There is a lot of travel time involved but Luca was a wonderful guide sharing lots of information along the way. He also prepared a helpful map for the Bernina ride itself. Great tour!

Highlight of our recent trip! I was hesitant about the really long day but this tour was so highly organised that the day just flowed perfectly! Lots of opportunities for stopping along the way, whether it was to have a coffee in Bellano, a stop at a gift shop where we purchased a lovely bottle of wine to a beautiful lunch in Tirano (great recommendation from our tour guide) with lots of other surprise stops to break up the day. The train ride was so impressive, the scenery is spectacular. We were extremely lucky to have a very intimate group of 3!!!!!! The meeting point of the tour was easy to find and communication with Luca was exceptional. Sometimes when you are on holiday it is not about the amazing places you visit but it is about the incredible people you meet - and this was our tour guide Giulia. She is AMAZING! She is warm, super friendly and very knowledgeable. She is a credit to this tour.

What a great opportunity to get some exposure to the villages along Lake Como, the northern countryside, Turin before the traditional UNESCO Berina Express train to St. Moritz! This was a combination of our guide, Paola, meeting us in Milan Centrale to catch a train to one of the villages along Lake Como to meet our driver, Ivan. Paola had the right balance of information to communicate about what we were seeing which was much appreciated! And Ivan had a beautiful smile, pleasant personality, helpful and a great driver. We rode the Bernina Express from Tirano to just before St Moritz. While the ride would have been great without Paola, it was enhanced by her information. Paola & Ivan ensured we were well cared for and had sufficient breaks. It was a long day, but a good one. Side note: Paola, worked very hard at the end of the day to find a solution to the Italian train issue, that was out of her control, on the way back to Milan. Had we experienced the issue on our own, we wouldn’t have known what to do. Knowing she was frustrated, but worried about us is a testament to her dedication to her role as our tour guide. We hope the company recognizes this and appreciates her representation of their business. Thanks again to Paola & Ivan for a good day.
