Small-group Barolo Wine Tasting, Alba & Unesco Piedmont Hills

This is an amazing experience for all travel let’s! Yes, there is a winery on the list but there are other snacks and water provided! Oleg was very knowledgeable and Stefano is a fanstactic driver! Alba is an amazing visit and the truffle is such a great food to try!

The weather turn out to be gorgeous the day we went in the beginning of November. This tour gave us great views of the mountains, vineyards on the hills , great wine and great food. The small town of Alba is a must stop because of the great food ( truffles & Nutella) and the local duomo. Oleg was a fantastic tour guide, giving us information about the region and all the best spots at each stop. If you’re looking for a relaxing ride from Milan to get great food, a tasting of local wines and aww dropping views of the region, this tour is worth it. Thanks oleg we had a terrific time on this tour.

We had a fantastic time on this tour! We got to explore the adorable town of Alba, enjoy a wonderful and educational wine tasting at a local winery, and even had an impromptu truffle tasting along the way. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the region’s wine history, truffles, and local culture, which made the experience even more special. We also made a quick stop at a beautiful castle! The van was comfortable, clean, and made getting around a breeze. Overall, such a fun, memorable experience from start to finish. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

This was the best day trip from Milan. Chiara was the most lovely tour guide and carefully led us through the day in Alba and the Barolo region. She provided us with enough information to keep us interested in where we were going, while also giving us the freedom you want on a small group trip. We were able to immerse ourselves in the culture of the region without spending the entire day with a massive group of people. I would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Milan - it was the best day of our trip.

This was not the original tour we booked, that one was cancelled although we didn’t know it until the day before. This is a good tour that needs to be reversed. Go to the Barolo vineyards first, then start making your way back. As far as we were concerned we could have skipped the castle. A twelve hour day is way too long. Najma was a wonderful guide though and if you are on one of her tours you will be well informed.

Najia was a fantastic tour guide. The trip was just as described. The vines were fantastic, our views of the Alps were amazing, and a three time Michelin restaurant for lunch with a White Truffle feature…simply amazing! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing day exploring Piedmont with Chiara as our tour guide! From visiting a beautiful castle to enjoying a phenomenal lunch in Alba and finishing with a fantastic vineyard tasting in Barolo, everything was brilliant. The whole trip was an absolute joy of an experience ! Right from the beginning Chiara told the group what the day would consist off! The lunch recommendation was perfect and we’re lucky enough to be in Alba during truffle season! The winery was also incredible and had some lovely wines that showed off the region! Would highly recommend this tour and if you get Chiara as a tour guide it’s an extra special treat! Also shout out to the driver Alberto getting us to place to place ( especially after the wine)

Today was a wonderful experience. Amato and Fabio were kind and very accommodating. Amato was knowledgeable about the places we went to and gave great recommendations for shopping and lunch’s may have been the best pasta yet!!

What an incredible experience! We first learned about the Langhe region, and then explored wines from the Giovanni Corino Barolo Arborina winery. Najme was very knowledgeable of the region choosing great stops to try truffle oil, and have a wonderful lunch.

We had a wonderful day with Najma as our guide. She was knowledgeable, easy to understand in English, explained things sufficiently, but not too much which some guides do. She dealt well with an unexpected 30 minute traffic jamb and adjusted on the spot the groups travel plans as needed. Vistas from the castle and vineyard are some of the most beautiful of my life and match well the Viator advertising.

Tour guide, Stephano, really set the tone of the experience from the beginning, very welcoming at pick up and engaging throughout the whole experience. He even went back to pick up a forgot item another guest left behind. The sights and wine were good, lunch at Hostaria was great! The group size was perfect, and the truffle tasting was tasty, But I really think the guide is what makes the experience.

Stefano was a very personable, funny, and knowledgeable guide. I enjoyed the small group tour, where he was able to make into a cohesive environment. He was willing to tailor the tour to what the group liked but also ensure we followed through with what we purchased. My group did two tours (back to back days): Lake Como and Wine tour. Definitely recommend.
