Skip The Line: Essential Milan Tour Including Da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'

Carmine was an excellent tour guide, easy to understand and had a lot of interesting facts about the city as we walked from the Duomo to Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper. We stopped in several locations as we walked along the way and a much about the history and culture of the city of Milan. He had a lot of information about the particulars of the painting as well. Worth every penny.

Really great tour. We spent more time viewing the Last Supper than I had expected and were very close. The room wasn’t crowded as it was mostly just our tour group. Our guide helped us navigate the admission process which would have been confusing otherwise. She was a knowledgeable local which helped a lot. The meeting place was a bit chaotic at first but all worked out fine.

Switched meeting place the day before our tour after we chose our hotel based on distance to start of tour. Totally disorganized when we arrived at new meeting spot, combined two tour groups. Chaos! Leader was knowledgeable but kept saying we were late so felt like we were rushing around. Group was way too large-27 people! Expected us to have our tickets to the last supper which were never sent to anyone in the group but that was managements fault and not the tour guide. We have enjoyed other Viator tours but definately not this one.

We enjoyed Samantha and the tour she took us on. She gave us lots of interesting info about Milan landmarks and shopping/eating recommendations. I don't know if every tour does this, but during the 3 hour walking tour, she took us to Bar Magenta (100+ years old). There we could come in out of the heat, buy a cold drink and use the bathroom. We visited Milan during an extreme heatwave, so this stop was the perfect pitstop before we got to see the Last Supper. If you haven't tried the affogato yet, you can get it at Cafe Magenta!

The guide Simone was very knowledgeable and maintained a good walking pace for the group. We did the tour mainly for The Last Supper but found the rest of it very enjoyable.

Carmine was an amazing guide. He gave lots of good information about the Last Supper painting and history of the city of Milan. He used Italian and English cues and explained meaning of words which expanded my knowledge of Italian and its customs. He was thoughtful to try to keep the group in the shade which was much appreciated during the hot summer. Best guide we’ve had during our time in Italy! 10/10 GRAZIE Carmine!!

Carmine gave us just the right amount of history, pertinent information and insights and interesting stories. He has a fun sense of humor and spoke English very clearly. It was six hours well spent!
