We met up with our guide Jessica who took us down the luxury shopping street, Via Monte Napoleone, and she gave us the history of fashion in Milano, helped us do a bit of shopping, walked us by Giorgio Armani's house and some movie spots from the Devil Wears Prada 2, and then we went to the Atelier of Fiorella Ciaboco and her assistant showed us her workshop. This tour just felt like quintessential Milano, a must do for anyone who loves fashion.

Miss Valentina Territo was very engaging and insightful guide who made learning fun and enjoyable!
Valentina tailored our 2.5-hour private tour extremely well to our interests, with just the right balance of history, fashion, craftsmanship and hands-on experience. She was warm, approachable and delightfully humorous, making the whole experience both informative and great fun. I am not from the fashion industry myself, but I learned a great deal from her fascinating explanations of the history and distinctive traditions of Milanese fashion, and how these compare with those of Naples and Sicily, as well as the influence of French fashion. These stories became even more interesting as she brought us to various legendary shops and locations around Milan. The workshop was another highlight - enjoyable, humorous and with a lovely surprise at the end. I particularly appreciated how thoughtfully Valentina had prepared the tour for us, as my partner works in the fashion industry and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was genuinely relevant to his professional interests, while remaining equally engaging for me as a layperson. Everything ran very smoothly, and the 2.5 hours simply flew by, leaving us with very happy memories. I have joined many cultural tours in different countries, and this was certainly one of the most enjoyable. Thank you very much, Valentina. If TripAdvisors allowed it, I would happily give this tour 8 out of 5 stars!
This was a very interesting tour and we learned a great deal about the fashion industry. The atelier was especially informative and I purchased a garment from the master tailor
I enjoyed this tour while on a field trip with The American University of Rome. Our guide, Valentina, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. This was an informative and fascinating experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who gets the opportunity. So much fun!
The Milano Fashion tour and workshop was the highlight of our two week trip to Italy! Our guide, Rebecca, was extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend the afternoon with. She taught us so many interesting things about the fashion industry in Milan and beyond. Our workshop with Marcella at Ciro Pistarino will never be forgotten. Marcella and Rebecca are two of the loveliest ladies and we feel so lucky to have spent such a special afternoon with them! Thank you for making our trip unforgettable!
Best Fashion Tour in Town. If you are in Milan, this tour is MANDATORY! love the entire Exprience. Also very informative.
Excellent and informative tour of the Fashion shopping districts in Milan! We toured the high end area and went inside the beautiful Armani showroom next to the Armani hotel. The tour concluded with a visit to a veteran designer and tailor who has been working in fashion 40+ years. We had unprecedented access to not only tour the atelier but ask her anything and we even got to try on a few pieces! Such a fun, full day. Thank you to our amazing tour guide Valentina for providing such a great experience that made every minute of our limited time in Milan worth it.
Spent a wonderful afternoon with Rebeca, a very energetic and enthusiastic guide that immediately engaged with the kids and adults to ensure we got to see the types of stores we were interested in. Gave us a lot of history on the major designers and took us to see some local Shops that are both innovative and affordable. The second stop on the tour was a fascinating peek into a designers workshop, where we got to see a drawing converted into a garment and learned all about fabrics. A very enjoyable day that I highly recommend for any fashion enthusiast.
So much fun! Our tour guide Valentina brought us to the heart of the luxury shopping area of Milan and shared her knowledge of the history of the designer stores and Milan's place as a global fashion capital. We then walked to a beautiful little Atelier filled with colorful fabrics and finished pieces where Fiorella explained the design process from sketches, pattern making, fabric selection to the final piece of both ready wear and made to wear. The booking was easy and Valentina touched base with us before our tour to confirm and ensure our meeting place. A unique fun experience to include in your Milan itinerary.
The Fashion Workshop in Atelier and Fashion District Tour was a great experience. The tour started with a walk through the fashion district with stops in front of designer store fronts. The guide stopped at local Italian Designers and gave us detailed information on the designer, their style, and the quality of the material. After the walking tour we spent time in a studio and were shown how garments are made and we also learned some sewing tips. The designer and the guide answered all of our questions.
Awesome tour and guide. Just the right amount of detail. Our guide Rebecca answered every question. The Atlier is a big part of understanding the industry. If you like shopping and understanding the fashion industry, Do it!
We had a great tour with Paola! She was very knowledgeable about the fashion industry and different designers. She talked about the history of design in Milan, showed us some of the iconic stores, and took us to an atelier so we could see the process from start to finish. She also shared some shopping tips and overall provided a lot of great information!
Amazing experience! After asking us what we were interested in seeing and us putting ourselves in her expert hands instead, Paula brought us to the top fashion brands stores where she had close connections. We learned about the history of fashion as well as its current trends and what fashions appeal to what consumers. We appreciated her experience! Our 18 year old in particular enjoyed discussing fashion with her. We saw brands you see in the US as well as many we hadn't heard of. Our favorite designer on the tour was Andrea Ferretti. We had extended the tour to include a visit to an Atelier which was the highlight for our daughter. She learned how to sew and how to make a rose out of ribbon and we saw a master tailor making a custom jacket for a football coach! 10 out of 10!
This was for my college daughter who just recently graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. The experience was absolutely amazing….Rebecca took us around and gave us the history of some of the most iconic families in the fashion world, told us about the Fashion business in general and how it has evolved in Milan. We ended by going to a Italian atelier and my daughter was able to work with the designer to create a jacket for her that the designer had started. She gave her lessons on how to finish it and sent her on her way with fabric pieces to even make a patchwork bag later. Rebecca interrupted things along the way and was so incredibly nice, engaging and full of knowledge and history. By far the most enjoyable thing we have done in Milan so far
What a rip off. We met our nice and friendly guide who walked us down the fashion street and pointed out various shops for an hour Unlike other reviews we had no discussion of discounts or special places to buy We then were taken to a “workshop” where Fiorella show us her pre made clothes and shoes and bags from her friend . She briefly discussed pattern making , the various fabrics and techniques . The vast majority of the time was Fiorella encouraging us to try on and buy her clothes or her friends shoes and bags. There was no evidence of work in progress or this being an active “workshop”. More a personal tailor . Total time 2.15 hours. Total cost for 3 of us €380
Was an amazing tour! We went with Paola which is an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and attentive. The tour was very interesting and we enjoyed the workshop with Fiorella so much! Would 100% say not to miss it. The only thing I would recommend is to book the full fashion tour + workshop separately so you can enjoy both with no time pressure. Definitely don't chose one over the other because they both are so important for fashion lovers and aspiring fashion designers, I learned so much!
Wea are so thankful to the organizers and Antonella for the excellent representation of fashion tour with fashion presentations of Italian brands during the Fashion week in Milan. We also would like to express our special gratitude to Fiorella Chiaboco for the fashion workshop performed for our daughter Bella. Bella was amazed and she wants to participate in future events to learn from the best designers and teachers in fashion industry.
The tour was a fantastic experience. Valentina is a very knowledgeable and engaging guide: her explanations were clear, interesting and rich in detail, conveying all her passion for fashion and Milan. Working in the industry, I appreciated even more the chance to get to know local realities, discover a designer and visit high fashion boutiques in the Quadrilatero. A truly stimulating experience, made special by Valentina’s professionalism.
