Stefano led us through a perfect day in the Langhe. We met local merchants and vintners that we would not have had the opportunity to visit without his guidance. A day we will not forget!! Highly recommend.
It was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Andy has a wealth of great stories to share and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to eat. The small bus was very comfortable, and the winery, Montaribaldi, was fantastic. The views were breathtaking, and the wines were equally outstanding. I highly recommend this tour.

Chiara was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, patient, helpful. Pacing was good, and being able to see a bit of Alba was especially nice. Stopped at a truffle shop to taste several items - no pressure to buy but the products were so good, I think most people did. Chiara provided many excellent suggestions for lunch and made reservations for those who wanted them. The wine tasting was very good - got to taste a lot of wines as well as touring the winery. Lovely setting!
We had an amazing wine tour in the Piedmont region near Milan! We booked through Viator and our guide, Oleg, was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and full of fun facts along the way. The tour was very well organized and easy to follow, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The winery itself was wonderful, with a friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Overall, it was a lot of fun and a highlight of our trip!

The tour was well organized. Monica our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, history and wine. She picked great place for lunch in Alba and she picked great place to buy local produce.
Our guide Stefano was very knowledgeable. He took the two hour bus ride to explain the history of Northern Italy, geographical landscape significance and the unique properties of the wine we were about to taste. We were surprised at the slight change of itenerary as the UNESCO winery grounds were now included instead of the Barbaresco wine tasting. But the itinerary suited us just fine and we still got to taster 8 northern Italian wines, visit the UNESCO wineries with gorgeous sunset views and meet local merchants. Very enjoyable and relaxing experience with a safe driver in a comfortable small group setting.

This tour was amazing! It was 10 hours of so much fun. Although the 2 hour drive to and from Milan sounds daunting, Amato made the trip go by so fast and was accommodating with stops! He offered many recommendations in Alba, and the wine tasting was top notch with an option to purchase at the end! We concluded our tour with a visit to the local castle to end a fantastic day!

It happened to be white truffle season so having the option to try them was a plus. The winery visit had tasty wine and amazing panoramic views of the region. We kind of thought this was a wine tour with a side trip to a castle, but it really was an amazing little day trip to see the Barolo wine country, learn some Italian history, explore Alba and taste some truffles, oh and we tastes some delicious wines! Chiara was our guide, and Fabio was our driver. they were so knowledgeable and helpful. Chiara did a great job at educating on without getting boring, and explained the products of the areas we were in. I would def recommend a tour with Abroads! what a great day and our group was just 15 ppl so it felt more personal.

We had a great time and the white truffles (tasting and our lunch) and wine was wonderful. We stocked up to take some home. Stephano was very engaging on the long bus trip, learning so much about Italian and local history.
Great day trip from Milan to wine regions in Piemonte! Stefano and Fabio provided a fun and informative tour. Rendezvous point across from Milano Centrale was easy to find. Learned a lot about Piemonte and its role in Italian history. Enjoyed the free time provided in Alba to explore and dine. High point was the tour of a family-run vineyard and tasting of their wines. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from Milan for a day to see places that are not easy to got to by train.
Stefano of Abroads tour was the best guide! Had a an exceptional tour in the Langhe Barbaresco wine region! Cantina Monteribsldo was an amazing winery that provided end to end information about the wine production! The tasting was generous and the views from the winery incredible! Highly recommend the tour!

This was a small group tour that is more enjoyable than the big group tours. Transportation was easy and clean! The guid is excellent and very entertaining and knowledgeable.
We had a terrific time in this small group tour. I personally thought this tour was above and beyond a basic wine tasting tour. We stopped in alba and had a terrific on your own lunch and continued to the wine tasting. The castle was also very close to the wine tasting and offered us a wine tasting for an additional small charge. Would highly recommend.
The tour was small. The vineyards were great. The wine was great. The tour guide was excellent. Oleg gave great information while driving on a beautiful luxury van. The tour was prompt. Lots of care for water and bathroom breaks.
Such a great tour! Escaping the crowds in Milan and heading to Alba was the best decision. The Barbaresco wine was incredible, the hazelnuts delicious, and the town itself felt like a hidden gem. Relaxed, authentic, and highly recommend!
Steffano is a very interesting, informative guide. We were with another couple on a 19 passenger van. Stefano gave us some history of Italy and the Alba area, while the driver for us safely to the winery. The winery was outstanding.
This tour was fantastic! Oleg is a great leader; informative, knowledgeable and funny! We made 3 stops, a castle, Alba and Barbaresco! The castle we had a wine tasting as well as the opportunity to purchase wine and REAL hazelnut spread. Alba is a nice little town where we had lunch. Oleg gave great recommendations! Then in Barbaresco, we had a wine tasting in Montaribaldi. The winery is beautiful and the wines were delicious! We highly recommend this tour!

With a sparkling Chiara as a guide, the tour was unique. From when we were picked up we were in the best hands and with Fabio behind the wheel the experience was perfect.
A great and educational day! We travel with a modern minibus, a great travel companion. Nice and knowledgeable guide, and the tour took us to nice local places, without too much tourists. Recommended!
