Viator gave me the wrong meet up Point🙁 but Gian Mario very kindly tracked me down & personally escorted me to his tour! The pastry stops were fun & delicious. Gian Mario shared Milan history & pastry history making it so interesting. I highly recommend this tour! 💯+

Prepare yourself for a sensory journey through the heart of Milan’s patisserie scene, where we’ll immerse you in the city’s rich traditions and sweet indulgences. Our tour is not just a taste experience—it’s a voyage through time, where each bite takes you deeper into the flavors, stories, and emotions that define Milanese pastry. Please notice that the itinerary as well as the tastings may vary according to availability and season.
At our first stop on Via della Moscova, you’ll dive into a quintessential Milanese treat: the cannoncino. This crispy, delicate pastry is filled right before your eyes with smooth, creamy fillings, letting you enjoy a taste of Italy’s pastry heaven while soaking in the chic and lively atmosphere of this iconic Milanese street.
Next, in the heart of Milan’s historic Broletto district, indulge in one of the city’s most iconic desserts at a historic bakery. Here, you’ll savor the famous panettone, a sweet bread rich with dried fruits and flavors, celebrated as a symbol of Milan’s festive bakery tradition, while enjoying the elegant architecture and lively streets of this historic area.
Next, near Piazza Mercanti, we’ll introduce you to a variety of mignon pastries, each a miniature masterpiece crafted by Milan’s finest pastry chefs. These bite-sized delights come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, offering a taste of Milan where dessert is not just food—it’s art—while you enjoy the historic charm and lively atmosphere of this iconic city square.
The grand finale will be in a lovely chocolate shop, where chocolate lovers will be in for a treat. You’ll sample the prized Milan pralines, delicate chocolate creations that combine the finest ingredients for the perfect sweet finish to your Milanese indulgence.

The guide was amazing. She gave us so much more than just pastries. Her knowledge was fabulous and she was so informative. Highly recommend this tour when in Milan.
The tour guide was very nice and did a great job showing us around Milan and introducing us to several patisseries. Beautiful city. Yummy food.
Francesco is the ultimate guide - knowledgeable, flexible and enthusiastic about his love for Milan and Italy. He brought sunshine to a very rainy day. The tour was fun and we are still enjoying the generous samples today. Highly recommend.
My family and I had the best time on the sweets tour with Francesco. He was very knowledgeable about the city and took us to see sites we didn't know about.
This was not only a fantastic way to try different local pastries from a variety of shops, our guide Anna provided an insights into Italian and Milan culture as we walked through the different areas of Milan.
This was a very informative and delicious tour of 4 patisseries! All were so yummy and Francesco was the best tour guide. He gave a lot of history and talked all throughout the tour. Highly recommend
Francesco was a terrific guide. He met us on time. In addition to knowledge of Milanese patisseries, he provided insight into Milan's history too. The four shops we stopped at were all distinctly different and the sweets we tasted were VERY good. One of the shops was close to our hotel and we went back for more that afternoon.
My teenage son and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Francesco was excellent, friendly, informative and flexible. I would recommend this as a great way to see the sights of Milan with the bonus of some delicious patisserie.
The guide was amazing! She was knowledgeable about so many things and gave us an amazing peak into Milan's history, not only pastries but music and arts. The 4 patisserie were delicious and we hard times choosing out samples.
This tour was so fun, and a really nice way to break up some of the other historical tours we had done in Milan. We lucked out by having Francesco as our guide, as he was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. He knew so much not only about the patisseries, but also about Milan and Italy as a whole, and was happy to answer all of our questions. For the tour itself, we visited 4 different bakeries. Each one had different options (for instance pick 3 desserts of your choice, or 1 dessert and 1 coffee, etc). The patisseries were all very different, so each stop had a new surprise. One of the bakery owners even allowed us in the kitchen to see where the magic happens. They will also get your desserts for you to go if you don't want to eat all of them on the tour...but I couldn't resist. I truly enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys dessert!
Ciara was wonderful. We loved all the locations on the tour. Highly recommended. Lots of good food. End with gelato!!!!
The pastries were wonderful but it was too much. Our guide was kind and very mindful of us but the noise around us prohibited detailed descriptions of the areas along the way to the shops.
Our guide Piera was phenomenal! She took us all around the city and we got to try so many different delicious foods— both modern and traditional Milano desserts! Not only did she know good spots, but she was so knowledgeable about the history of Milan and shared that with us! I 100% recommend you do this if you’re considering! We have such great memories (and pictures) from this experience!
I went on this tour with my brother and it was just us and our tour guide. It was super fun and he was very informative. We learned a lot and tasted some delicious deserts
Great tour. Antonio was a wonderful guide and the selection of pastry and candy shops to visit was wonderful. Walking through Brera and near the Duomo to find the shops was an interesting way to see parts of the city.
We had the best time with Giulia, absolutely wonderful food, coffee and laughs - beautiful walking tour. Thank you.
This tour was absolutely amazing. Michela, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and also the shops we visited. She has a great charisma and was extremely easy to talk to and get along with. If you like pastry and are going to be in Milan my wife and I could not recommend this more, and will be recommending it to friends and family if they visit
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to walk through the streets of Milan with. I would highly recommend this tour.
Unfortunately for those who look for something special, this is not the right place. The guidance was fantastic
Our walking Patisserie tour of Milan was excellent. Very casual, fun, informative and of course delicious - all thanks to our tour guide Agnese. She was really wonderful: knowledgeable and professional but also very personable, obliging and helpful.
Had a great time walking around Milan with our guide Antonio - not only was he knowledgeable about the patisseries we were visiting but also about the city itself. The pastries we tried were absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend!
Our tour was fantastic! Antonio went above and beyond to make our tour exciting and delicious. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this tour if you want to experience the sweeter side of Milan.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone that consider themself as having a "sweet tooth." The guide was great, I learned a lot, and tried some incredible dessert-type selections. There were only two of us on tour, so I was able to talk with the guide at a closer distance. This provided the ability to guide the conversation towards items of personal interest.
Our tour guide was great and we learned a lot about the history of Milan while walking around with her! Not to mention the desserts were delicious at every stop. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Milano!
Agnese was a wonderful, kind guide. She showed genuine interest in us personally, and she was so flexible. She went above and beyond!! We had a couple unexpected stops with our small group which made the tour so much fun!! ALL of the pastries she recommended were delicious! I would of never tried them on my own!! We had so much pastries, that we were able to take our portions home for later. The coffees were so delicious too. We went to a couple of older bakery shops which was a great experience. We even went beyond the counter to where they where the chefs were preparing and making the pastries! We saw varying bakery goods from all of Italy. I enjoyed the company, our wonderful guide and the patisseries and coffee!! Yummmm
Wonderful tour! We had a great time sampling 4 of the city's pastry shops. Our guide Francesca was engaging and easy to talk to. She had some great info about the famous pastries and recommendations that were spot on. Francesca also gave us advice on other places to go in the city. Loved this tour and so glad we went on it!
Great trip - very informative- all treats included- our guide was Francesca really great guide also provided helpful information on the city and recommendations for food drinks and even a local taxi firm - both English and Italian participants and the guide managed the tour really well she was attentive to both sets of languages and even translated to us so we could have conversations with the Italian couple would highly recommend and don’t have too big a lunch plenty or sweets and cakes throughout
Great tour in the city centre. Glimpses of Duomo on the way and interesting stories along the way. Antonio is a great guide, who made a pleasurable walk even better. The sweets and pastries are all very nice and the best part is that you can choose a range of them.
How could a morning be better? We had great pastries, a very nice and helpful guide and a lovely city to experience these in. Agnese was the perfect guide for our tour. I highly recommend the tour and Agnese!
Wonderful experience. Antonio was very interesting and informative. Patisserie were delicious. Would highly recommend if this is your thing.
We had a great time in the Patisserie tour on a warm afternoon. Antonio was a great guide and took us through some amazing treats and stops along the way. The kids loved all the shops and we even had some to take away! Highly recommended for a few hours of fun particularly for kids, ours are 10 and 13
Simon was fantastic! He took us to four of the best patisseries we have ever been to in our lives. Knowledgeable, personable and charming, he was a great tour guide.
Yummy sweets! I loved that you can choose which ones to have at the different places! More walking than I expected, but still a worthwhile and overall very good tour!
Simon was a very nice tourguide. Must do if you are in Milan with a lot of nice food and nice tour through the city!
It was very nice and delicious. We enjoyed the tour 😉 with Simon. My compliments to him 💯👌… Keep up the good work, well done!
Simon was very kind and friendly. It was a nice experience and good sightseeing. I would recommend him.
We had a great time wandering through the streets of Milan with Agnese as our guide. Plenty of yummy treats along the way and great conversation as well. Meringue was definitely worth the walk 😉
Very good patisseries and friendly guide Simone. The walking is worth it. Best place for me was the second stop Baunilla.
The guide was very nice and helpful. We ate a lot of tasty sweets. We would like to go to this sweet tour again in the future.
The best was trying all sweets. My god... so good! The trip was really nice experience. That was chance to know some parts of Milan and the still of life there. Our tour guide was a professionalist. Very nice persone.
Simone was a superb host. Excellent tour! We were a family of 8 and he was great with our young kids. Very tasty trip around Milan.
It was a very nice experience in which we were able to visit pastry shops that we did not know despite being ancient and a pillar in Milanese patisserie. In addition, we were able to choose from a fairly wide variety of pastries. We then spent a different afternoon, in the company of a very easy-going and nice guide who managed, despite being from Milan, to take us through more unknown and less touristy streets, letting us discover aspects of a slightly different Milan!
Excellent experience and guide
It was a beautiful experience, the desserts were very good and the tour was interesting and well narrated. A special mention goes to our guide Gianmario, a very knowledgeable, engaging, and kind person. A tour we recommend to everyone
Excellent tour, especially because MC was welcoming, super friendly and helpful. We tried the oldest delicacies in Milan.
We did the tour with M.C. and it was very nice. She was super nice and competent. He made us visit niche pastry shops and enjoy delicious desserts.
They gave my daughter the tour of the pastry shops in Milan. We found ourselves with Piera our guide and went to Ranieri where they tasted the famous sweet Do breast, pastries and delicious pralines including one with lavender , then Cova their very good panettone, then Galli for the renowned marron Glace and finally Serge for their cannoncini filled at the moment and a delicious coffee with an eggnog cream. Piera very kind, competent and while reaching the various destinations also made us cicero. Thanks also for the in the experience.
We took a nice walk through the center of Milan tasting some good treats, excellent canons Serge. Extremely nice and prepared guide Annamaria.
We tasted some delicious desserts especially at Ranieri pastry shop, Serge's cannoncini are also good. Francesco our guide was very nice also told us some nice anecdotes about some places in Milan. Too bad about the rain though it was a nice experience
