Fantastic tasting tour around Navigli — great food, excellent drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere!

A fun experience. Our guide Alarico was great - we went to some beautiful spots in the Navigli area and tried delicious food , spent an evening chatting with nice people - altogether a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour .

Mikaela was friendly, professional, and incredibly informative. She shared fascinating insights into Milan and Italian culture that made the evening about much more than food and drinks. She seemed to know everyone at every stop, and we were welcomed like royalty. Her personal connections really made the experience special. My only suggestion would be to include sunset by the canals and a little more time at the places along the waterfront. Fortunately, I caught the sunset before the tour. I understand the canal area is very touristy, but she recommended an excellent coktail bar Mag that I visited after the tour and sipped up the local scene on the canal. Overall, a memorable evening and a wonderful way to experience Milan. Thank you, Mikaela!

The Sunset Navigli Food & Drinks Tour was an incredible way to start our visit to Milan. Our friendly, knowledgeable guide, Gian Mario expertly lead our small group on a gastronomic adventure through the charming Navigli district. We started off at a wine bar frequented by locals, followed by a street food stop, a Milanese risotto dinner, after-dinner spritz at a canal- facing bar, and delicious gelato to close the night. Considering the amount and quality of food and drinks we had, as well as Gian Mario’s knowledge of Navigli and Milan in general, we highly recommend this tour!

We met Alarico on those evening tour. It was fun and visited few wine and dine places. Alarico is super friendly and told us a lot of different food cuisine in Milan. we enjoyed the walk around the river side.. quite enjoyable

Guan was superb. The tour was much more informative and luxurious than I’d thought. The food was plentiful and delicious. The drinks were flowing. The area was stunning !

GianMario was great. He knew the owners and wait staff at each stop and was able to give us background on each of the dishes we ate, where the ingredients came from and how it was prepared. Great wine and a fun time

We had a great time on the food tour. There were plenty of delicious local specialties to try (definitely come on an empty stomach!) and Gian Mario was an excellent, well-informed and friendly guide. The tour was great value for money with the amount of food involved, and even more so for those who had wine as well; as non-drinkers, it was very straightforward to get non-alcoholic drinks instead. Would definitely recommend this tour for visitors to Milan!

Gian Mario was an amazing tour guided! He was able to answer all our questions but I also loved the history of the foods we were able to eat and where did the origin of them came from. His English was amazing and recommendations for us to go the was great too! I love each stop and we had a wonderful small group! More intimate.

Gian was an excellent guide and the food and drink provided were great value for money. The pacing between stops was perfect so we didn't feel rushed but enough time to visit all. We were a group of 4 and Gian shared his knowledge, recommendations and good company. Highly recommend if you are in Milan.

Michela was lovely! What a fun person! I don’t think we could have gotten a better host for this experience! The food and drinks we tried were also pretty great. The star of the show was the gelato- best I have had so far!

Our tour guide was fantastic! Anna had so much knowledge about the neighborhood, city, and region and provided a lot of interesting insight at every stop of the tour. Helped give us the local experience.

We were a group of 5 adult women. It was our first night in Milan and it was a great way to see parts of the city and to learn a bit about the history of the areas we visited as well as about the food we were tasting. The tour included the quintessential food and drink of Milan as well as some extras. The proprietors of the restaurants we visited were friendly and the food and drinks were good. Our guide Alarico was engaging and a pleasure to be with.

Anna was a fantastic tour guide! She provided a lot of insight into the area and the city that enhanced the tour. She provided recommendations for the area and must sees. We were able to try a variety of foods and drinks. Our group was small and intimate and the conversation was very enjoyable.

We had Anna as a guide. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area and the food. Had 5 stops , plenty to eat and drink, and moved around the navigation area quite a bit. Was a really good night and would definitely recommend.

I had amazing experience at one of my fav spots in Milan by the river. My guide Gian Mario showed me and the group all the cool spots around, honestly wouldn’t find these without him - also super helpful answering all my questions, will definitely come back again !

We had a delightful evening touring with our guide Alessandra. We could tell she is an experienced guide because she was able to successfully lead our group through the very busy Saturday night festivities in Naviglia. As seniors with some mobility issues, we appreciated that she took time to be sure we enjoyed the best experience while she shared her knowledge of the history of the area. We enjoyed the wine and food as well, especially the saffron risotto, a Milanese specialty!

We had a nice group of people, the food & drinks were very good and a nice variety. Our guide was friendly, but we felt he was a little too laid back and it was like he was just supervising us and at times he seemed a bit distracted.

We took the Sunset tour on a very busy Saturday, but our guide Alessandra was able to navigate us through the crowds, even though we seniors we moved a bit more slowly. We experienced tastes of delicious Milanese food and wine, especially the saffron risotto. Totally enjoyable!

We had a wonderful evening with Gian Mario touring some of the eating and drinking places in Milan in the canal district. We revisited several of them during subsequent nights on our stay, and we also tried his other suggestions for places to eat in Bellagio, Milan etc. which were also excellent. We're now trying to recreate the Gramm Spritz back here in the UK!

Best tour I've ever been on. Alessia was great and taught us a lot about Milanese and Italian cultura.

Our journey began with meeting Gian Mario. Right of the bat we knew we were in store for a safe and great time. We visited 5 different spots. Each spot Gian (by this time we nicknamed him Juan) informed us of not of just the history but of the heart and care. That goes into the day to day of these businesses. Once the tour was done and we were full of not just nourishment and drinks. He enlightened us on what to look out for while on our travels to get the authentic Italian experience. We recommend not only this tour. But recommend Juan as a must need to starting your Italian adventure. Wish Juan and the rest of the tour friends the best of luck.

Alarico was great!! He gave us so much info about the origins of the food and the stories that came with them. Really appreciated hearing his take on Milan being that he’s originally from Milan. He gave just enough info with out making anyone want to sleep! And the food, the risotto Milanese was incredible. The wine paired with everything went so well. Had an incredible time, would book again with Alarico my next time in Milano!

Navigli is a vibrant part of Milano these days. The tour lead by Anna was fun, informative and appreciated by everyone in our small group. The sights, sounds, and tastes were well worth the price. Pride and joy emanated from Anna who proved to be a wonderful guide.

Our Guide Michela V. is a nice and enthusiastic guide. We are pleased to participate the tour with her. Very helpful and pleasant. She Also gave us many tips on Milan. A small group was fantastic to chat and get to know people from other country.

Good food tour. Plenty of food. Good wine and cheese, wonderful risotto, short tour of Navigli area with bars and restaurants along the canal. Then a nice cocktail, finished with gelato.

My husband and I were first greeted by another couple who were also waiting for the same food tour at our appointed meeting point. They were lovely and we hit it off. Our guide, Anna Maria, had done a great job communicating the meeting location but due to bad cell coverage we initially missed seeing where the remaining group was. Anna Maria was consistent in her attempts to get our attention and once we all found the meeting point she did a great job laying out our tour while giving us interesting facts about the area. We were a little concerned that the six stops wouldn't have enough substantial food to fill us but they were all delicious and by the end of our tour we were very full!

The Navigli food tour is fabulous. Our guide Micheala took us to awesome spots, great wines and Spritz's and tasty street bites. Highly recommend!

Anna provided a wonderful aperitivo & street food experience. She loves her city and culture, and this shined through in the evening tour. The drinks & food included in the tour were delicious, and more plentiful than I had expected. Anna also shared the history of the area, and was happy to answrr so many other questions. A great introduction to the Navigli district. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect way to experience Navigli. Looking down the canals you have no idea where to begin. Our guide Ana made it so memorable. She brought just the right amount of food, fun and history to the group. Come hungry, because you will eat, a lot! Again, Ana was amazing!

In a busy, overwhelming area Michaela guided us through a wonderful sampling of types of aperitivo. It was nice to enjoy all the spots that were chosen as we walked through the sites and sounds of the Navigli area. So fun to sit around a table and experience the culture of an area through their food and customs. Highly recommend this guide and this tour!

Amazing tour. Gian Mario was excellent, took us to some awesome local spots and had wonderful knowledge about the food and area. He even had outstanding recommendations for spots to go after the tour!

I was lucky, there were some lovely people on our tour who were easy to talk to and the food and drink was nice. Good gelato, yummy risotto and nice wine and cocktail. Although our guide was lovely, the tour lacked any depth or knowledge about the Milanese lifestyle. There seemed to be a lack of authenticity and our guide was not always sure what was next on the list. It is nice to get a sense of history of a place, some personal stories or anecdotes from neighbourhood characters of young or old, or just a story or insight into the district... Just didnt come away with any insights or feeling of the local cuusine/ people. I had my first negroni sbagliato. I would have loved to have known where the name came from, how it originated...the whole tour just a bit underwhelming really. Think the experience has the potential to be sensatinal with a bit more careful planning and oomph!!

So looking forward to this tour however apart from the lovely people we met on the tour the experience was very disappointing and welll below par of previous food tours we have done. Poor communication about meeting spot - photo only sent to some people on group and not others Thr guide was nice enough but totally dis interested and at times not sure why the stops picked were selected. Told were were getting focaccia at one stop and did not occur and no table set up for us as would normally happen so could not sit with rest of the group. Facts that were shared were not accurate at times. Could be so much better as Navigli has so much to offer Eat Europe yours provide a much better experience !!
