The map that you provided as part of the trip was not accurate. The hall of the axis was closed for renovation, and has been for months. There is no directions to where the starting point of the map is located. The map also does not tell you how to get to the next museum. The map should be an outline of the castle with specific directions. The map is pretty much useless. We don recommend this tour.

The castle is an imposing building but the museums are disappointing. Very little about the Sforza or Visconti families, no real effort to offer any historical context and a very poor audio guide. You can wander through the castle courtyards for free. My suggestion is to do this and don’t bother with the museums.
Lots to see, but lots of walking. While they have a lot of recovered architecture, most of it is what you can see throughout the city. There is a collection of modern art alongside the older paintings, sculptures, tapestries, and engraved pieces. They do have a wide selection of artillery, armor, and such as well. Word of caution, it is quite humid in the summer months, especially inside were there is no breeze. It was overall, a large collection with something for everyone.
Be careful when buying a ticket from TripAdvisor. We were sent away at the entrance and were told it is not official tickets. Had to walk all the way back outside to go get official tickets at another tour operator. Otherwise the visit was interesting. The panoramic walk around the walls are not included. The Egyptian display was awesome. My kids loved it.
This was one of those underwhelming tourist attractions we visited during our trip. While the castle itself is very cool, the interior itself, especially the exhibits and content, were poorly organized, curated and presented. It would have been much more enjoyable if there was a well thought out orderly way for visitors to enjoy all the exhibits. For some reason, easily visible and clear signage are rarely used and we had to figure out what was there, where it was, how to get to it, and do much more work than patrons should have to do. For a third tier attraction, this would be expected, but for a major tourist draw, things need to be better organized for optimal and clear directional flow. I'd skip the ticket and interior unless you're really interested, and just enjoy the outside and grounds of the castle.
The grounds and park around it were really pretty but the entire building is a museum which housed a large number of heart attacks, musical instruments, art, tapestries furniture and history.
Very good if you love Italian history. You could stay for hours. Was a bit crowded but it was Easter weekend.
Our tour guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and engaging and eagerly shared his passion about Italian history. Booked the tour to see The Last Supper and the Duomo but also enjoyed the walking tour and the castle very much. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed the castle and walked through it at our leisure.
The audio guide was not a tour. It was a group of topics with information. There was no guidance from point to point. I expected more.
You can simply buy a ticket at the castle for only 5 Euro. The self guided tour is just an app. Don’t waste money paying a middle man, Viator.
Had pick up tickets across the street. And audio was not easy to figure out.
Local operator issued tickets for the wrong date as they ignored the cancellation of our original reservation following Viator's modification timelines & guidelines and did not issue tickets for the new confirmed / paid booking. We reported the incident to Viator by phone on the spot and we were told that a refund woukd need to be approved by the local operator. Really disappointing as we had to purchase our own tickets at the Sforza Castle after lining up for 20 minutes.
I loved the castle! Lots of interesting artifacts inside the multiple beautiful museums. Lots of history.
We cameto Sforza castle but couldnt find where to exchange the vouchers. We walked around for at least 30 minutes and none of the staff members knew how to guide us which left us with a veryunpleasant feeling.Itried to write to you in the app.no one answered me.We bought entrance tickets at our own expense and they were significantly cheaper than what we were charged by you.
We booked castle entry and audio guide. There was no guidance as to where to redeem our purchase and when we did find the ticket office (having asked customer services), they were unsure what we had booked. Eventually they gave us tickets for access to all museums, but no audio guide.
I am not sure what I paid for. I could not find the tour company initially so wandered around the castle seeing most of what there was to see then went again looking for the tour company, which I found. My booking was for an entrance ticket and audio. I had already been for a tour by myself and I did not have earplugs so could not listen to the information. Money wasted in my opinion
Dramatic setting, several galleries etc; all on one ticket. Just wandering the courtyard and gardens is enough. Some of the art is good too. Drinks and ices in the gardens. There is a cafe, inside, but not very welcoming and expensive
Interesting history. More of a museum than your typical castle tour that displays rooms. However you do see some beautifully restored ceilings and walls frescos.
Very helpful and informative. It is easy to find the place to take the tickets. Very polite and helpful people.
The details about Tucker pickup location is poorly spelled out. The audio quality is not helpful if the directions of the tour is not provided.
While the castle is impressive in size and history, it was confusing as to where we needed to go even with prepaid tickets. The audio was difficult to follow in the way the room were set up, would recommend getting audio from the castle if an option vs your phone. Overwhelming volume of same items
The audio guide was just an app you downloaded to your phone - there were no signs to follow so it was difficult to follow the guide -cheaper and easier just to pay on arrival and get a the official audio guide
Looking around the castle was amazing. I was disappointed that we’d paid over 17 euros each and thought we were seeing the Michelangelo exhibition, but our tickets were an upsell and only worth 5 euros each and didn’t include the exhibition I would have liked to see.
I had to go over to a travel agent to get my online booking verified and she could not get the audio guide downloaded on to my phone so that did not work. The building looked impressive and first museum area was interesting but all galleries were up long flights of stairs and no explanation or signs and too steep to get up and no idea what was up there so I saw very llittle
I received very little direction. My audio guide did not work. I had to buy an audio guide from the site, and it was difficult to follow the numbers for that audio guide. The site was very crowded.
I wish the tour office was a little more helpful with providing more info on what to expect when we got to the castle. It was a self guided tour. Which for this one, I'm glad we did. I wish we were told the Michelangelo exhibit was not included in our tickets. We didn't know where to begin the tour at the castle. Figured it out eventually and we're glad it was self guided. Unless one wants detailed explanation of each item there.
I did not like this experience in comparison to the other events we did. The Arch of Peace outside in park was Much better’
We were given a phone app with no other info. App was difficult to follow or understand with no suggestions or directions. We left after one very confusing hour and seeing very little. Complete waste of time and money.
Went on a whim and a very last-minute trip. Really nice to see for a few hours with interesting buildings and a nice fountain out front. Not too crowded.
If you're sightseeing in Milan, this is a must. Sforza Castle was an incredible visit, but I would allow yourself 3 hours minimum to properly observe each of the exhibits. The audio guide was a nice extra and much cheaper than taking a guided tour.
Tickets could be picked up easily. No need to wait in line at the Castello. The audio guide was not good - unfortunately, there was no sorting for the museums/rooms.
I took the entrance tickets for the visit of Milan Castle but when we presented the tickets access was denied we were redirected to an exchange point of the ticket The platform didn't give us any info about the process
Travel agency difficult to find, a little complicated,,we did not know the tours included in the ticket
Very good experience! For some audios of the application we can not find the room or piece that you were talking about, maybe the map is a little outdated. Anyway, we had an excellent experience, recommended!
We learned a lot of facts from our guide, Alexia. She is experienced, calm and passionate. Thank you very much!
The castle and all its museums are spectacular. Very well organized and attention in perfect information. I was surprised by the Piety of Michelangelo
