Milan: Private Walking Tour With Duomo, Castle And Gelato

A private tour is the way to go. You can walk and sightsee at your own pace and there can be some flexibility. Our tour guide, Suma, was personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed getting to know each other while seeing great sites.

We had a very bad tour. Firstly, the tour guide gave very little information, was hard to find and then her English was hard to understand. Then, we were not able to enter the Duomo or castle which was what I was looking for. One of the churches which should have been very interesting was closed and the tour guide was unaware. I have done many Viator tours before, but this was a fiasco and we ended it early.

Since I was travelling solo, he made sure I always felt at ease and he even took some really nice pictures of me!! He made me fall in love with every corner of the city. Salvatore was friendly and provided a wealth of information with a nice sense of humor. He was on time and conducted the tour at a manageable pace considering the heat wave. Milan is a beautiful vibrant city. The walking tour was the perfect way to get some historical insight on everything that we saw. All the places visited on the tour was great and the gelato stop was a great treat along with one other surprise that I won't spoil. Salvatore also had a great eye for pictures, took some great shots of our group and gave restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Joatham was fantastic. The tour was only myself and my wife and we had a great time. We saw some of the big sights such as the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II but also some hidden gems we had never heard of such as the Santurio di San Bernardino alle Ossa. We highly recommend this tour over the larger group average tours.

This personal tour through Milan was much better than following a crowd. The guide, Salvatore, answered all of our questions and was a fount of knowledge about Milan's history. He also personalized the route based on mobility impairment in our party and ensured we caught our train home on time.
