Great experience. Gave background info. Made seeing the last supper smooth and easy. Highly recommend.
Seeing this masterpiece was worth minor points pro or con. Once one surrenders to the fact that the system is worked so tour companies buy up all the tickets at their nominal, inexpensive rate and resell them at high rates… Tour guide was highly knowledgeable, obviously educated in art & history, & very friendly; she gave context about the painting, and it’s place in Milan’s history. Her English was better than acceptable. My reason for four stars not five: although I relished the knowledge, I think it still would’ve been better to give at least 5 minutes of the precious 15 minutes granted to look at the painting in silence. Just to gaze & appreciate it. There was non-stop commentary by the guide before during and after seeing the painting. While this was a valiant attempt to sharer knowledge, I now wish I’d just taken out my headset for a few minutes. But I didn’t anticipate there would not be a pause, & was in sort of a daze from the whole thing. Other than this, I recommend. Seeing the painting there in that empty room, made me feel the reality of the Renaissance times more than any other art I’ve seen.
One hour small group tour with an experienced guide. It provided a good overview and a chance for questions. Enough detail without minutiae. Just what we were looking for.
Way too expensive given that tickets purchased at the museum only cost 15 euros. The guide was not at the location we were directed to and she was late.
Guide was knowledgeable and communicative. Easy walking tour of about one hour. I feel the tour was priced too high in comparison to other tours. In my opinion it is a $100 pp tour not more.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and briefly explained the history of Milan, Leonardo and how the painting came to be in this place
This was an amazing experience! Entire experience about 1 hour. No steps to climb! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our skip the line tour for the last supper. It is very hard to get tickets directly from the site. Booking through trip advisor was so easy, though much more expensive than buying just tickets from the museum Our guide was very good at explaining the exhibit and the history. I highly recommend this tour if you are going to be in Milan.
Our guide, whose name I have forgotten, was outstanding. Waiting to see the fresco, she gave a very interesting brief history of Milan and Leonardo. Even though I was generally familiar with the fresco, but learned a lot I had not known before. Very informative and worthwhile.
Our guide was fabulous! Very knowledgable and informative
Beautiful experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great demeanor! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!!!
Space and time limits make seeing the Last supper painting with guided so meaningful! We were given so much great background information (before our short time allowed to view), that we were well prepared to see important details and appreciate this historical marvel.
Excellent guide, information and experience. She really made the painting come alive. I would highly recommend.
Excellent tour! The guide was exceptional and provided us with the background information to truly appreciate the significance of the painting.
Smooth experience and knowledgeable guide. Their was details about the painting that made it even more enjoyable.
Probably the best tour we did in Italy! Our guide was informative, very knowledgeable and interesting. Great info without being too wordy.
Excellent tour guide at Santa Maria delle Grazie. The tour leader gave us appropriate time and we learned much good knowledge.
We knew it was hard to get the last summer tickets so we booked this many months before arriving in Milan. They changed our time from 2 o'clock till 345 the day before. They sent an email the day of our tour and said LCS at 2 o'clock. We showed up for 2 o'clock. They called us and said that was a mistake is 345. We showed up at 3:45 and they said we had to wait till 530 if we wanted to go into the last supper. We at that point had other plans for that time and wanted a refund. They said they don't do refunds we had to call Viator. Do not use this company. Ruined a whole afternoon of our Milan trip.
This should be zero review. We are at the tour right now and it was delayed from 2 o'clock to 345. Now we've been told we need to stand here till 530. We have lost a whole afternoon in Milan because of this company. There is no sign of a refund in our future.
Our guide was very knowledgeable, and the tour was nice, but I felt it was overpriced. I thought we were paying so much mainly to skip a long line, but there was no line at all. Maybe there is typically a long line, and it would be worth the cost, but for what it was, the price felt too high. I will say that it was a nice tour and we learned a lot.
Martino gave us an excellent tour with details on the history and life of Leonardo and period in which this artwork was created. The tour included the visit to the Church of Sta Ma delle Grazie and part of the monastery open to visitors. We highly recommend this tour, we enjoyed it very much.
Martino was our guide, he provided excellent background on the Last Supper, and great details on how to understand the design and the details that make it so vivid. We loved the tour that included the visit to the church of Sta Maria delle Grazie and the section of the monastery open to visitors. It was an enriching experience. Thank you.
Great experience! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. Would highly recommend the skip the line tour!
Excellent tour. Very small groups are permitted into the area of the Last Supper painting. It was exceptionally moving. Our guide provided excellent insight and context into the painting Tickets were pricey, but worth it. It is definitely worth having someone to interpret all the meaning and symbolism.
Very thorough on the painting and Leonardo.
It was great and the tour was exactly as described. The guide was super knowledgeable about the artist, the theme and the background of the building.
The guide was not very good. I was a little late and she was rude. When she had us leave things in the lockers no-one mentioned you couldn’t come get your bag and then go back to the bookstore so I couldn’t purchase what I wanted. It was also listed as a 90 minutes tour and we were sone on just about 60 minutes. Vary disappointed. I waited months to get tickets and it was expensive.
This was a most amazing experience. Our guide was exceptional, explaining so much, and keeping everything organized very well. My husband and I are so very happy we did this tour and we’ll have wonderful memories a long time.
We had an incredible experience touring The Last Supper in Milan. Our guide, Valeria, was so passionate and expressive. She explained so many details of not only the mural but of the time period when it was painted and how it was painted. It was an amazing experience and worth every penny!
Excellent experience. Very clear and complete description of painting
Visiting Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper at Santa Maria delle Grazie was one of the most special moments of our trip to Milan. And I have to say that our guide made the experience even more extraordinary. Beyond her extensive knowledge of Leonardo, the masterpiece, and its historical context, what impressed me most was her passion and the way she was able to share it with us. She explained every detail with such clarity and enthusiasm that, for a moment, we felt as though we were discovering the painting in an entirely different way. I would also like to highlight her empathy, patience, kindness, and exceptional communication skills. She was attentive to us at all times, genuinely interested in our questions, and created a very warm and special connection with the group. There are guides who simply tell you the story, and then there are guides who make you experience it and feel it. She undoubtedly belongs to the second group. I don’t remember her name, but I will remember for a long time the passion with which she introduced us to The Last Supper. An exceptional professional. I highly recommend her and truly believe she is the kind of guide who makes all the difference. Thank you for making this visit such an unforgettable memory! ❤️
This is a once in a lifetime experience and should not be missed when in Milan - add it to your must do’s.
A brilliant and informative tour. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Perfect length of time. Excellent guide.
This tour books quickly, but we highly recommend it if you want to see the Last Supper since it books out all the time. We also have 13 and 17 year old kids, and being able to see it all in less than an hour is a bonus. You can only be in the room with the painting for 15 minutes, so just be aware of that.
Its a nice tour, but we its overpriced. Its a 1 hour tour but you only spend 15 mins in the Last Supper room.
Our tour guide had excellent knowledge and made sure we knew the history of the painting before we saw it. She pointed out so many details and we left with a much better understanding of the painting. It was incredible to see it in situ. Highly recommend this tour.
Excellent, much better than we expected, yes, little on the pricy side, but summer pricing. Also it was a small group and Spanish helped the wife enjoy it more.
A site not to be missed. The history learned and the facts provided by our guide was excellent. Very worthwhile!
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared history of the church and the painting, which is spectacular. Entry was very easy and your time viewing is strictly managed. So happy to have seen this.
Tour was very well done. Our tour guide was friendly and ultra knowledgeable.
Wow, great service, excellent communication through out the whole process. I highly recommend
The tour guide was fine. Everything else is way over rated. Not worth what we paid. I do not recommend. The painting has deteriorated so much. Little of the original remains. And if you are really into art, you only get 15 minutes in with it. Go on a food tour or go shopping instead.
Other the high temperature making the walk around church miserable. The viewing was well managed and described
Great seamless experience with an energetic knowledgeable guide! A must see while you’re in Milan! Highly recommend.
We had a great experience on the Last Supper tour! Here are a few of the positives: 1. Organized and on time 2. Great way to get tickets to an iconic piece of history last minute 3. Not too long and not too short 4. Great guides 5. Clear communication and instructions
Our guide was extremely knowledge - a Milanese local who was clearly very well educated, she provided detailed contextual information that added depth and meaning to our experience. My family enjoyed the tour very much indeed.
Very short and informative tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. English was good and understandable
Excellent tour. Very knowledgeable and passionate guide. Highly recommended if you have any interest in the Last Supper at all.
Definitely something you should do at Milan our guide tour was so good and informative about all the details we learn a lot about Leonardo like she called him and his art. Excellent !!
