The Duomo of Milan is the largest church in Italy and the fourth largest in the world, with a capacity of up to 40,000 people. With pre-booked and guaranteed skip-the-line tickets, you will enter immediately the Duomo rooftop terrace by elevator to have a panoramic 360-degree view of Milan. After that, you will enter the Duomo Cathedral and your private guide will help you to explore the underground archeological area beneath Duomo & the museum of Duomo. Its rooftops host something like 3400 statues and they are not all are saints or angels. For example, you can admire the statue of the boxer Primo Carnera (world heavyweight boxing champion in 1930s – he was the first Italian ever to gain this title), the statue of the pigeon, one of a tennis racquet, and the Statue of Liberty (the myth says it inspired New York’s one!).
During this tour you will the Duomo rooftop terrace by elevator to have a panoramic 360-degree view of Milan together with your private guide.
Your private expert guide will accompany you through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, named after the first King of Italy. Constructed in 19th century, the Galleria was built on the initiative of the king with the purpose to represent the modernization of Milan and connect La Scala & Piazza Duomo, the most important landmarks of that time. Now it is a grand display of many beautiful of high-end fashion boutiques & famous restaurants, all inside an enormous decorated glass roof of the Galleria.
After Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, your knowledgeable guide will bring you to Piazza della Scala, where you will observe from the outside one of the leading opera and ballet theaters in the world.
The tour will end with a walk through the majestic Piazza Cordusio & Via Dante to visit to the famous Sforza Castle.
You will enjoy a relaxing walk through beautiful Via Dante to reach the Sforza Castle.
The tour includes the visit to the famous Sforza Castle. Being one of the most beautiful, fortified structures in Italy and one of the largest in Europe, Sforza Castle connects to Sempione Park, provides breathtaking view to the famous Arch of Peace (Arco della Pace).

Our guide was amazing! We were exhausted because we got off our plane, dropped off our bags at the hotel, and immediately went on the tour. Needless to say we were tired and jet legged, but Giorgio made sure to take things slow and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.
Martino was superb. His knowledge and stories about the Duomo made our experience totally enriching. He was charming and friendly. Highly recommend!
Marco was extremely knowledgeable with the history and meaning of the most beautiful buildings and art work in Milan. We enjoyed our time and learned so much! Definitely recommend this tour!
Great tour, thank you so much! We really enjoyed the food and wine and all the amazing history of the area!
Elena was excellent! Private walking tour included the Last Supper, Castelo and the Duomo. Elena was knowledgeable, interesting and fun to be with. Highly recommend!
Great tour, very informative and delivered in a relaxed and friendly manner. Giaccomo our guide was very knowledgeable and his English was very good. Memento tours and Marco were very helpful also.
Maria was the best! She hopped the queues and guided us expertly through the beautiful sites in Milan! I would highly recommend this tour!
Elisabetta was very friendly and knowledgable, she was very accommodative to our preferences. We had a fantastic time!
This was an absolutely fabulous private tour. Our guide, Daria, was so pleasant and knowledgeable about every aspect of the city, its art, buildings and best places. The 3 hours fly by as we enjoyed hearing the city’s history and best places. Daria answered our questions, took beautiful pictures, and was an absolute joy. I highly recommend this tour!
Our tour guide was very polite and knowledgeable. We explored the Duomo in great detail and were able to skip the line to get inside. After touring the inside, we went to the roof for a more up close view of the individual sculptures. We then toured the outside of Milan and stopped for the best gelato! (We’ve spent multiple weeks in Italy and this gelato place was the very best!)
5/5 Having never been to Milan until this trip, we were uncertain as to what to expect. Booked a private walking it included the Duomo, the castle (walk to only and see inside public court yards) and a stop at Venchi gelato/chocolate. Stephanie was our guide. She was born in Milan and has been to tours for more than 14 years. The tour was exceptional, especially if the Duomo starting at the rooftop and working our way down into the interior of the church and even underground to recent archaeological findings back to 300 A.D. (The history contained within the space spans more than 2000 years). We’ve been in Italy for two weeks and this was our second most favorite tour (our first was a day wine tour at 2 wineries in Tuscany, see separate review). I would highly recommend this tour and furthermore, I would specifically request a tour with Stephanie.
Memento Italy and Angela our guide created a wonderful plan to keep the adults and our son entertained. It was a four hour walking tour which had a mix of items for all. Angela knowledge of Milan and personality were a great combination.
Excellent, knowledgeable tour with Elena. She got us safely through the train station to the Duomo . Gave us such a detailed tour of the place inside and out.
Giorgio was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Duomo and Sforza Castle. The Duomo was breathtaking and being up on the terraces offered amazing views of the city and up close views of the statues. The gelato was yummy too! I would definitely recommend this tour.
Victor …. Fantastic guide …. Spent nearly 3 hours exploring the Duomo , inside and out and to the top. Took the time to explain the early beginnings of construction and had iPad pictures to show exposed sections during repairs and renovations.
We had a private customized tour of the Duomo with rooftop access, a gelato tasting, the castle, and then skip the line access to the last supper. We were lucky enough to have Ester as our guide. She was amazing, friendly, hilarious, was so knowledgeable of all the attractions, and pointed out things that we would have never known by exploring the city ourselves. We wish we had more time with her so we could see and learn more of beautiful Milan!!!
Ester is the best! It was a super fun experience and she’s incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful. I highly recommend.
I had a group of 15 people and we had a private tour of the Duomo, Sforza Castle, Last Supper and Gelato tasting. This was a custom tour for 4 hours and it was incredibly easy to coordinate this tour with Marco from Momento Italy prior to my visit. It was very easy to meet up with Ester (our tour guide) and as soon as we met her, we knew that we didn't have a tour guide, but we had a talented storyteller. Ester was professional, knowledgable and joyful the entire time. She was not only telling us about the history, but also gave us her personal experiences as well. We could not have asked for a better guide, we felt like she was part of our family showing us around Milan. If I could give more than a 5 star rating, I would! Don't hesitate to book with Momento and if you can, request Ester as your guide!
We really loved our Guide Giorgio. He explained a lot of things to us which was essential in understanding the sites.
The tour was fantastic we have learn a lot. And Sara was an amazing guide :) Everything was Perfetto!!! We couldn’t be happier.
It was excellent. Thomas and Jon were wonderful teachers fun, funny and very good teachers We had the best time going to the market and cooking I would not miss this Thank you
We had an absolutely amazing time. The tour guide was very flexible and we were able to go at our own pace, see what we wanted to see and call it a day when we were tired. She was very knowledgeable and we really learnt a great deal about the history of Milan. Not to mention the delicious pizza restaurant we went to!
Tiziana was so great. She was knowledgeable and personable, and made you feel like you were getting a true insider’s look at the Duomo. She walked us through the story and the creation of the Duomo, the architectural significance of the building’s features, and explained it’s importance in the religious, political, and historical landscape of Milan and Italy as a whole. Would highly recommend the tour, it was well worth it for us.
Maria did a great job. Very accommodating to what we wanted to see/do. Made the mistake of taking the tour 1 hour after flying into Milan from the US so we were very tired. Worth seeing the important parts of Milan central.
Great company. Great tour! Enjoyed our guide very much! We also used the company for a rental car and they made pick up and drop off a breeze!!! Everything was superrrr easy and amazing service. They were always available to reach out to and very helpful in everything. Thank you for making our time so amazing!
Alessandro was knowledgeable and took his time to really help us enjoy the walking tour. He was very courteous. We enjoyed the tour very much.
A brilliant guide (Laura) made this tour of the remarkable Duomo even more remarkable and what a history. Definitely do this tour and finish with a peak at Michelangelo’s last sculpture (unfinished) at Sforza Castle
My wife and I set up this private tour of the Milan Duomo ( including rooftop visit) and the Last Supper and gelato tasting at the last moment. All was fantastic. Our guide Sarah knew everything at all our sites and imparted great information. We also visited many other attractions as we walked. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! " Get your Guide" is great!!
We learned so much on this comprehensive tour of the Duomo and The Last Supper viewing and gardens, with a lovely gelato break. Marino truly knows the interesting history and answered our multitude of questions. We took a taxi from the Duomo to the Last Supper site - it’s a mile walk otherwise. Your fast track tickets lets you take an elevator up the Duomo, but everone walks down endless narrow stone steps. You’ll welcome gelato after the descent. We understood so much more because of our informed and charming guide. He is a passionate fan of Leonardo’s genius and taught us so much. It is worth every euro - made our trip to Milan.
It was just 2 of us on this private tour. Sarah met us outside Louis Vuitton so very easy. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We toured the Galeria, then the fabulous Duomo rooftops by fast track and inside the cathedral. Fantastic. Then gelato tasting which was very delicious. We then walked to view Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper. Awesome experience. This is where the tour ended. It was expensive but we got to see the sights we wanted at very short notice. I would certainly recommend.
Hello So we planned a totally last minute trip to Italy. I went online and tried to prebook some tours and as you can imagine, most were sold out. I was contacted by Marco who helped me customize a tour and was even able to get tickets to the last supper which was sold out for months. I can’t begin to tell you how happy we were with Giorgio our guide He was an absolute pleasure. His English was excellent and his knowledge of the Duomo was incredible. He answered every question we had and not only about the Duomo. His knowledge of history and about Italy in general was amazing. We felt like we knew him for years We were sorry to see him go and wished that he could come on the rest of the trip with us. He gets 5+ Stars and I will definitely will recommend him to my friends who will be coming to Italy.
We had an awesome guide in Corrado. We saw a lot of great sights and Corrado was so knowledgeable and personable. Thoroughly recommend 11/10
We did the tour with Annamaria and it was amazing. Easily the best tour I have ever been on. Her knowledge and way of transmitting the information made the experience even better. Will definitely book every tour possible with them when I’m in Italy!
We visited the cloister where the supper is located as well as the sforza castle and the duomo with our Guide Marco, who made us live the history of these beautiful places. It was magical and we are grateful to him for sharing his knowledge with us
Our walking tour in Milan with Sara was absolutely spectacular. She was extremely knowledgeable and fun. A thousand thanks.
Very helpful guide! We loved the experience with her. The sight was too much. The gelateria is beautiful, and the ice cream is very good!
From the first contact with the agency, they provide you with personalized, proactive and flexible attention. This tour of Milan was fantastic. Lauretta, our charming guide, very prepared, cordial and with great knowledge of the city and its history. A luxury. I recommend this agency 100%.
We really enjoyed the tour. Everything went perfectly. We learned a lot and were able to relax and learn new things and be amazed. We would be happy to do it again. Many thanks to our tour guide Lina. She knows a lot and is very attentive.
The tour in general is very cool and very informative. A long, light and fascinating tour. The guides are true teachers, who share details of history that make all the difference. I recommend it without a doubt!
