Despite the tour being called 'Milan Like a Local,' the guide was a student from India who moved to Milan just six months ago. She didn't even know the city and walked from one spot to another using Google Maps, only providing basic information straight from Wikipedia. She suggested taking public transport for distances that were a 10-minute walk away, only to realize at the bus stop that there was a marathon that day and service was limited.

Bibi was amazing, fenomenal! Since it was just us two it was much more personal and enjoyable. We were able to ask all the questions we had and got to see places we would’ve missed if we were on our own. I would definitely recommend this tour and specifically Bibi to anyone!

What a delightful experience I had with Pritika as she showed me the art and history view of the city. She was very knowledgeable of the city history. We also explored the Dolce & Gabbana exhibit at the end of the tour which was amazing.

Jul 27, 2023, 12:45:42 PM The tour guide, Rafaela, was so pleasant and she took me to some unique art gallery and areas that were off the beaten path. She also pointed me to a great Italian restaurant and we had lunch together (as I was starving from my train ride into town). It was amazing pasta. She gave me a great overview of all the main highlights and sites in Milan (as requested). She emailed me well before to discuss my requests. I would definitely recommend this to save time and get you places faster(and you can skip over the things you are less interested in).

For my one day in Milan, we visited the basic sights plus many “ off the beaten path areas. “
After touring with her for 4 hours, I really feel like I was introduced to the “ real Milan.”

Had my tour with Armando. It was amazing, went to some amazing spots I hadn't even read about before coming to Milan. He asks questions and gives you tons of historical information regarding the spots we visited. And some tips. Towards the end he also gave us some suggestions of which restaurants to go to and where best to spend our time. 10/10

Simone was a very good guide and took us to several places within Milan and gave us a very good overview of the history broadly as well as the history of a few places in the tour. He took us on a bit of what he called the "secret part of Milan" and it was definitely less touristy and gave us good insights into a broader area. Definitely worth the time and though it was a quick tour, it also gave us ideas for other things to see and spend more time with.

We had our two children (10 and 11 years old) with us and they enjoyed this experience very much! It was actually the highlight of our daughter's experience in Milan. We recommend booking this earlier in your visit to Milan as it will give you a feel for the numerous neighborhoods and hidden gems in the city. Ilaria went above and beyond, emailing us afterwards with restaurant recommendations for both Milan and Como area. We highly recommend this experience - whether traveling solo or in a group.

We had our 2 children with us and they enjoyed the tour as well. She also had amazing restaurant recommendations for Milan and Como (another stop later on our trip). We would highly recommend her and using Viator.

Never been in Milan before and I wanted to experience this citythrough the eyes of a local so decided to give this tour a go. I found in Marco the absolute perfect guide! We had an amazing walk throughout Milan and he showed me all the wonderful corners, hidden ones but also the main touristic ones. Everything was adapted to my wishes and what I had indicated beforehand. I really enjoyed the personal touch of this tour. Marco is so knowledgeable and is so much fun to talk to and be with and I can truly say that not only did I book the most amazing excursion in Milan, I made a friend in Milan too :-)

Was planning a last minute trip for my husband and I to Milan and the day before we left, I found City Unscripted and read the reviews and decided to book a 3 hr tour. I filled out a small survey regarding our likes and dislikes and a bit after I received an email from our tour guide Gregory asking us what we would like him to include in our tour. We met him right next to il Duomo Milan and it was just the three of us. He was such a delight as he gave us a lot of information regarding each place we stopped which is exactly what I like on tours. I can't praise enough about Gregory as he made us feel like we were family. He helped booking our train tickets to Lake Como and Florence for the upcoming days we had left it Italy and had a small hiccup the last day we were there and he assisted us on how to get a refund on the train tickets. He is such an asset to your company and will definitely request him again when we go back and for any friends or family that may go to Milan.

As a couple in our early 20s spending 5 days in Milan, we decided to book this tour on a bit of a whim, not really knowing what to expect - it turned out to be the absolute highlight of our holiday! We were met by Alessandro (Alex), who could not have been a friendlier or more knowledgable tour guide. He tailored the tour to include things we were especially interested in, and seeing the hidden gems of the city with a local was really amazing - afterwards, he even sent us a big list of the best things to do and see later in the week, which really allowed us to make the most of our trip. This was the first time we've used CityUnscripted but it definitely won't be our last - we would highly recommend this tour, and Alessandro in particular, who made the experience really special!
