This was a fun food tour, which turned out to be exclusive for my wife and I due to the weather. I guess we were the only ones crazy enough to still want to do the tour! Our guide, Victoria was very nice and hospitable and had a lot of knowledge about the different foods we were trying. Everything was delicious.
Great local spots and really loved the Brera area since we had not seen it. Viki does a great job. Highly recommend.

The food was incredible, absolutely spectacular. Of course, this is Italy, so the food is naturally delicious, but without this tour we would never have found these amazing places. Everything was outstanding: the cannoli, the pizza, the tiramisu, each one unique and unforgettable. We simply wouldn’t have discovered them if it hadn’t been for this tour. Five stars for five fantastic spots!

We love a good food tour but this just wasn’t one of them. The guide didn’t introduce the food well and it was basically a waitress serving us at each spot what we wanted. The lady was lovely but got lost twice and I even had to help find a place.
we had just arrived in Milan that day so this was a good introduction to the city. The food and locations were good but the meeting place was difficult to find. We were the only ones on the tour so it felt like a private experience which was lovely. Anish was a lovely host.
The experience was disappointing. The guide appeared a few minutes late, causing some apprehension whether the tour would happen. He did his best to make it a success. However, we were the only participants so keeping it “lively” was a challenge. It appeared that there was little or no advance planning on where we were going to stop for food and the last place we stopped served only on a takeout basis. We chose to end the tour early and return to our hotel. Our impression is that the guide was poorly prepared, but did the best he could under difficult circumstances. Probably the tour provider should have canceled when it was apparent that there were only two participants.

This tour was way overpriced for what you get! And it was like going with an acquaintance to dinner and having them pay at each location. When we were walking to our first stop, the rain, thunder, and wind started. Our tour guide had no idea how to handle that. She tried to contact her boss, but got no reply. She offered to reschedule the tour, but since we were taking another tour the next day that wasn’t going to work. We suggested canceling and she said we would not be able to get our money back. So, we bought umbrellas for her and us and hid at the OVS until the rain kind of subsided. When we were finally able to continue, our fist stop was at a pasta place, which was primarily fish, something we noted in our restrictions. Again, no communication. We were told we could order one pasta to share and one glass of wine each. The next stop was a small cannoli that we had to stand outside in the rain and eat. The third stop was a pizza place. We were told we had to share a cheese pizza and we got one glass of wine each. Total amount spent was probably €60. The rain caused a lot of flooding which prohibited us from going to the two additional stops, tiramisu and gelato which were outside. The guide was nice, but had no information of the area or any of the food. I have requested a partial refund 4 days ago, but have yet to hear from the tour operator. I’m not impressed with the lack of communication and I would think Viatour would not want to represent a company like this.
Our guide was super cool and gave us a mix of food, history, and local culture. Way more than just eating—this was a real taste of Milan!

Unfortunately it was very disappointing. The guide was uninterested and seemed unprepared, not informative of the food on the tour or area that was selected for the tour. It felt like we were walked from one place to the next and given snacks (which we had to pick ourselves on a few occasions) with no explanation of what we’re having or why it’s chosen as part of the tour. On every food tour we have done we have walked away feeling like we have experienced the city and learned more about the culture and culinary history. This tour unfortunately had none of that and we feel we paid for something we could have done ourselves.
The food was the best I have tried of Italian food. The cannoli was so good and the tiramisu the best. The guide was so cool.

We have had some good italian Appetizer with pizza in the firts stop, then the cannoli was delicious, later the pasta plus wine , after the italian jam and cheese and we finished with the tiramisu. The tour was perfect!

We had a great time on the tour. All the food was delicious and there was plenty to taste 😋 our guide was super friendly and made sure we all left with full bellies. I wanted to have a fun, chill time with my family to get some rest from the travels and all the planning and this turned out to be just what we needed. Would do it again in another city!
