Milan Duomo Rooftop Terrace Guided Tour

This was a great tour for the price. It ran long but was full of good information. At times, it was hard to hear the guide due to earpiece interruption.

This was a great tour. We were able to experience the Duomo in a very personal way. The guide was very knowledgeable and knew so much about the statues on the roof. I would highly recommend it.

I had booked the experience weeks in advance on a tight schedule. Less than 24 hours before the tour, they gave no reason, but said they would have to change the time and/or date of my tour. After much inconvenience on my part, i managed to book another time, but Wanderinitaly did not bother calling me or attempt to offer any gestures of good will despite me having to forgo anothervwalking tour to fit in with them. just their way or the highway. Chiara guide on trip was great, but Wanderinitaly caused me a lot of stress BUYER BEWARE!!!

Visiting the Duomo rooftop was one of my favorite Milan experiences. The spires up close are absolutely breathtaking, the panoramic views stretch across the entire city, and the history behind every detail feels magical. Really fave you the “behind scenes” feel. Our local guide was amazing and brought the stories of the cathedral to life. A must-do when visiting Milan!

Great way to see upclose the architecture of the Duomo. The audio was a little difficult but worked well in the end!

If you get a chance this tour is a must. There is an elevator that goes up and stairs are not to bad 170 down. View from the rooftop was spectacular. With 23 tours on our trip this is definitely in the top 5.

A fabulous tour with a really well informed guide. We really enjoyed this experience. We were lucky it was a stunning day and could see to the mountains from the roof.

The guide was a local and very knowledgeable and kind, she would answer any questions the small group had. We were brought to the elevator to go up and skipped the line, would absolutely recommend!

The rooftop of the Milan Duomo was very impressive. Our guide was good and knowledgeable. She had a wonderful personality which made this tour outstanding.

Make sure you have clothes that cover your knees and shoulders to enter the basilica. The sites were beautiful

Our tour guide was funny and it was nice to be able to walk through the cathedral, although this isn’t part of the tour, but I was able to take a few photographs. My recommendation is to have the sign pictured In the email. We don’t a few minutes looking for the tour guide with the sign explained in the email and it was difficult to find because instructions were different in the email

Highly recommend, we only did the roof top tour but you can the cathedral tour as well. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable, she made the tour even better (I think her name was Keira but I can’t remember for sure).

We had Fabrizzio for a tour guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable and good sense of humor. The meeting spot is not right at the cathedral so start looking before you reach it. :) This exact ticket DOES NOT include unlimited access to the cathedral BUT you walk through the back of the cathedral to leave and for us, this was okay. Consider bringing binoculars, you get to see a very unique side of this church and it is gorgeous.

This was strictly roof top trip and did not include interior visit. Guide was good and informative but the group was too large and NOT as advertised as "small group". We were expecting 5-8 people or maximum 10 but there were almost 30 people in the group, which is too large.

Our tour guide was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions. Highly recommend to everyone.

The Duomo is beautiful unfortunately our guide would be rated a one. She acted as if she didn’t want to be there gave us no history

There is a lot of stair climbing. also there are lots of other people on the roof. The guide spoke very quietly. Even though he had good English skills it was hard to understand him.

Incredible view at art built for art's sake, and too far from human eyes on the ground unless you take this tour.

Our tour guide never showed up at the written meeting point. We tried contacting them through the app, but no response. I recommend that you make your own reservation online directly through the Duomo website. We were unable to rebook via other options during our 2-day stay because it was sold out. Very disappointed.

This is was an excellent short tour and my guide Amira was awesome. She was knowledgeable and so funny. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Great experience. seeing all of Milan from the top of Il Duomo was magnificent. and we learned so many interesting things. Very nice was to spend some time.

Tour was led by a very personable guide. She was informative and very helpful as I have a mobility issue, awaiting an operation on my knee. The information on the tour said there would be access to a lift but didn’t mention the extra 90+ stairs to access the higher area and the 180+ stairs to come down. Our lovely guide sorted out the lift for me though. Once there, the views were stunning and worth taking the tour. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enter the cathedral as a service was taking place!!

Not worth a guided experience in my opinion. Very minimal information from the guide. You can buy the skip-the-line tickets from the website and learn about as much from the sign boards on the terraces. Duomo terraces are definitely worth a visit!

Our guide, Michelle, was amazing. She was very easy to understand and offered historical information regarding the Duomo as we toured. The walk was a comfortable pace for us (ages 53, 52, and 2 college students). Some spaces are petite, and there are stairs up and down along the pathways along with a sloped roof, but all were managable. We were allowed to stay on the roof as long as we wished. The views were unmatched ane the architecture was magnificent!

It was a larger group that it should have been. A few people monopolized the guide with questions and the rest of us were on our own. Would have preferred a smaller group or a private guide would have been more engaging.

It was the perfect length for our short stay in Milan. We got access to the roof and learned about the history in less than one hour. The guide was very knowledgeable. There are a lot of steps but it is worth it!

There is a bit of stair climbing both up and down. There is also a bit of scaffolding which obscures the view.

Wonderful guide, fascinating look at the rooftops and the perfect amount of time. This is a must do. We are a family of five with kids raging from 9 to 13 and everyone loved it. Lots of photo opportunities but also lots of just chill out opportunities.

This was a wonderful tour with a fantastic guide. Jada was fun, knowledgeable and super helpful. She was very considerate of those who may not have been able to do the stairs (around 45) and gave everyone the confidence to make their own decision. The tour organisers were excellent. We had only booked the outside and rooftop tour and not the inside, which we didn’t realise. This was no problem. One phone call and our guides had organised the extra payment and got us in. They even held on to my daughter’s coat for her while we went to the rooftop on a warmer day than expected. Couldn’t ask for more.

Hilaria was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and friendly - rooftop of the Duomo is stunning and you can get the private tour tickets when the general ones are sold out. We skipped the line with the guide and highly recommend the private rooftop tour with guide.

Do not miss his tour! So informative and interesting. For us we did the rooftop with the tour and went to the interior of the duomo another day just on our own. Lots of steps so wear comfy shoes! Really great tour.

Daniele was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He was very interactive with the group and pointed out many interesting details we would have missed had we not been with a guide.

Our tour guide was fantastic. She was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Even though much of the Duomo is covered in scaffolding, you still got a good sense of the magnificence of it all.

On a 3 day weekend to visit Milan with my daughter in law to visit my Grandson in Milan. The highlight was visiting the Duemo What an amazing experience. Fantastic views beautiful architecture. At 75 I climbed up to the rooftop had to stop for breath at the last about 20 steps but it was an achievement for me. The views are amazing. We then went into the church it is a beautiful experience

Don’t even think about skipping this tour! So much fun and probably top 2 highlights of this trip. The rooftops are amazing and a once in a lifetime experience.

Great tour seeing the terrace of the Duomo! Our guide did a great job telling us to w history in English. We had enough time for all the photos also. Easy hour tour!
