Milan Duomo Entry Ticket With Lift To Rooftop Terraces Audio App

I received a confirmation email for my over $300 puchace for the tour with lifts. Then my 4 tickets were canceled. I was offered something that did not include the lifts or rebooking for after we left Milan. We are over 60 and did not want to walk up all of the stairs. Luckily I found out the day before I did not have the proper QR code for entry. We had to settle and purchase Duomo entry only tickets. I could not connect with the tour operator had to call Trip Advisor/Viator to assist. I was able to get a refund but I did not appreciate the bait and switch. Extremely disappointed that we missed out on the terrace and rooftop experience, since we may not be back in Milan again. They should not sell or offer a tour that they cannot guarantee tickets too!

Your website does not allow for questions about refunds. We purchased an excursion that cost $245.46 Canadian for a tour of the Duomo in Milan Italy. We were there earlier than our start time finding the square chaotic with people and nowhere to be found was an Viator contact. Attending the ticket office were advised that they had a lot of complaints about Viator excursions. They could not direct us to find the preplanned group so we ended up having to purchase tickets again at the ticket office in order to visit the Duomo and rooftop views. We would therefore appreciate direction to request a refund of the $245.46 Canadian paid for this excursion that was withdrawn on September 10, 2026.

Terrible experience. I booked this 1 month before. I had a whole day planned for my last day in Milan. The guide messages me at midnight the night before saying they didn’t have room even though they confirmed the trip right after I booked it. I didn’t get to read this message until the next day close to the time we were supposed to go. I called and they explained I could go at 5:30. I show up at 5pm and no guide is around and he still didn’t answer me at all. His phone was turned off when they tried to locate him … had to request a refund and then tried to buy my own tickets and they were sold out for the day ! They wasted my whole last day. I couldn’t even see something that I had been planning for months. Would have been better off booking through the actual duomo !

Getting the actual ticket was a chore. Audio guide app did not work for any of the three tickets.

If you have a fear of heights this may not be for you. It’s a terrific view from the top and amazing the achievement of how they managed to construct this place many years ago. After the rooftop lift you need to ascend stairs to another floor above and then a lot more to get back down inside where you can tour there. Genuinely brilliant though

Horrible process to receive the tickets. Did. Not receive an email with the tickets as was stated in Trip Advisor description. Got to the Duomo where they pointed me to ticket counter with voucher. That didn’t work - they couldn’t help me. Had to call the vendor - he answered and yelled at me that he had sent the tickets through What’s App. That was never mentioned in any email or on line description - plus I don’t have that app. After a lot of frustration and yelling he texted me the tickets. I paid way too much for these tickets for this frustration!! Do not book this self guided tour - the audio tour was also poor. Loved the Duomo hated this tour and feel I got ripped off. Could have paid a third of the price buying tickets at the Duomo. Avoid this tour.

Everything was well organized. We had a wonderful visit of the roofs of the cathedral as well as the cathedral visit with the audio devices. I recommend it highly to all visitors.

Apparently we still had to go through the counter to get the tickets even though we received all the communication from Tripadvisor

I booked tickets for 150 euros for the cathedral with terrace and museum for a Sunday for the following day. Just as we were about to set off, an email arrived stating that no tickets were available for sale and that we should come on another day. However, this was not possible due to time constraints. On Tuesday, the money was deducted and has not yet been refunded. Conclusion: If I do not have tickets, I cannot sell any for a high price and then cancel a day later after the planned trip.
