Don’t bother We actually cooked nothing. We made 1 pasta, not the 2 advertised. Chef, he calls himself, cooked it. We made a sauce with tomatoes that might have been good if it was cooked. We ate it cold with the warmed noodles. The terimasu was pretty good.

Oh my goodness, this was such a wonderful experience! Nicoletta and Fabio were such good teachers, as well as being fascinating and fun to be with. All of their ingredients were fresh, mostly organic, from farms and farmers' markets. The six of us (ages 17-79) felt it was the perfect way to end our vacation. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, the food was delicious, and we felt we experiienced a bit of Italian culture. We plan to try to make pasta here, soon! Thank you Nicoletta and Fabio for a wonderful time!
Valentina was the best! She made us feel welcome in her home. She was very patient with us and the food was amazing. Would definitely book with her again
Our feedback was this was not a cooking class just preparing dough for the pasta and put through a pasta press… no cooking lessons on the Tiramisu as it was pre-made day before which was disappointing… I would suggest providing a proper cooking class and make the food advertised! We expected an authentic cooking class especially learning how to make tiramisu. We were also disappointed to receive a call at 9.30am on the day of the cooking class to reschedule our cooking class for the afternoon which didn’t suit us as we had plans in the afternoon and had to cancel to attend. We would like a refund!
Truly an exceptional experience. Our host and her family welcomed us into her home. We learned how to make two different types of pasta and tiramisu, and left not only with that knowledge but also a greater appreciation of Milan. Our hosts love and pride for Milan and their willingness to share led to an evening we’ll remember forever.
This was a fantastic experience! You get to be in an Italian home to get a real sense of the culture and appreciation for Italian cooking. Our host Francesca was incredible. We loved this experience.
Very nice chef. Knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We made delicious food, then ate it and had a wonderful time!
Nice and kid friendly experience. Focus is on how to make the pasta and ravioli which was really delicious. Want the kids to learn how to make and prepare unprocessed or little processed food for their selves.
Carlotta was great! So friendly and funny while also clearly very knowledgeable on the subject. She was able to answer any questions we had about the food and Milan in general. She also has a very cute cat. The pasta was absolutely delicious and she did a great job instructing us while also letting us do it ourselves. And the tiramisu was without a doubt the best I've ever had. So fun to make a local connection!
This was the best experience we have had in Italy. Our chef/ teacher was so warm and welcoming. I would recommend this to everyone.
Our hosts were most gracious in opening their beautiful home to us, and the experience was most pleasant--the hands-on making of the pasta and tiramisu under their guidance. And the food was delish. Definitely a great way to interact with the locals in their home and have an enjoyable evening with new company. I would definitely do it again.
It was interesting cooking in someone's home. We got there easily on the tram from where we were staying. The owner and her son looked after us very well. The owner spoke reasonable English and had her son translate as needed. We made tiramisu and 2 types of pasta. Afterwards we ate what had been made and it was delicious. There was also a very well chosen red wine.
We loved our experience! Giuliana was a great host. We felt like a part of her family. We can’t wait to receive the recipes and try making the ravioli, fettuccine and tiramisu in our home. This was a highlight of our trip to Italy.
Amazing experience with Guliana as our host in Milan. This is by far the best food related activity I have ever done on Viator. The thing is that when you book this activity the location is not given until later so it may be further than you think or not with a host that you see written about in the reviews, they base it on your location you submit I believe.
We were able to visit and work in the home of our teacher. It made the experience realistic! She set the table with China plates and silverware. Fabulous adventure!
Sandra opened her beautiful house up to our family! She made us feel at home and was an incredible teacher to us all! She is very passionate and knowledgeable about cooking. She uses fresh herbs from her garden and her homemade sauce! She provided her homemade appetizers and a beautiful bottle of wine! As a bonus we tried her homemade Limoncello! Amazing! My children said it was their favorite thing we did in Milan! Memories for a lifetime! Sandra is the very best and we can’t wait to go home and make homemade pasta and tiramisu! ❤️
Oh what an experience! Julianne and Filipino opened the doors of their home to give us a formidable pasta making class, as well as tiramisu. Highly recommend it!
Sandra was very kind and a very good instructor. Amazing food and very educational. Lightest pasta ever. YouTiramisu was perfection.
We had a lovely dinner with Laura at her home, and learned how to appreciate more risotto from now on for sure. We had the best tiramisu ever which Laura made herself 😋
Santa created such a great experience for me! Although I signed up for the group class, it ended up being just her and I, and it was lovely learning about Santa and her family, while making our two pastas and tiramisu. Her location was only a 10 min walk from my hostel, and her apartment had such great vibes! She also had a wonderful aperitif setup for me while she cooked our pastas, as well as homemade limoncello post-dessert, and it was all so delicious. Thank you for the great memories, Santa!
I highly recommend booking this experience! Enrico and his wife Christina were so fantastic. They opened up their home to my family (and two young children under 2). Enrico’s daughter even played with my daughter and made us feel totally at home! Enrico was very knowledgeable about how to prepare the dishes we made. He gave us helpful tips for how to prepare the food at home and we left with fantastic recipes. We enjoyed a lovely 4 course dinner with Enrico and his wife. We enjoyed wine and great conversation. We ate SO much delicious food. When we finally left (5 hours later), we felt like we had known Enrico and his family our whole life. Highly recommended!!
As a family of 3 we had great evening and the food was excellent. Being at someones home and feel the passion for cooking was amazing. Thanks Santa!
Our experience with Sissi the "Cesearina" was time and money well spent. The food and company were both excellent. Sissi made us feel welcome in her home...like friends that stopped over for a few drinks and good conversation. We all took our time putting together the evenings recipes while Sissi shared her knowledge of Milano, it's food, and it's people. Eventually we all sat down to enjoy our creations with plentiful aperitivi, Prosecco, Limoncello, and dolci. Everyone left well fed ! Thank you Sissi 💕
Best class and activity I did while in Milan for four days. Even if I only did one thing my entire trip and it happened to be this class it would still be worth the flight! My host was so kind and fun to be around, definitely felt at home and it was such a treat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Amazing authentic experience with this hands on cooking class in private home. Debora was such a gracious host and food, atmosphere and experience were all perfect! I highly recommend! Thank you Debora!!
This was the most amazing experience! Debora was such a wonderful host! My boyfriend and I were so impressed and felt right at home. We would absolutely recommend this cooking class!
From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed into the home of Maurizio & Maria Louisa. A beautiful apartment on the top floor overlooking a quiet section of Milan. We learned about the history of Tirimisu and made a delicious version of it wilth all fresh ingredients. Then came the making of the pasta the traditional way, three different shapes, Spinach ravioli, tagliatelle & farfalla. While the dough resting we were invited to enjoy apperitifo of fresh olives, sausage & fresh homemade bread and of course prosecco!! It delighted our tastebuds. We continued making the pasta and when it was done, Murizio cooked it for us in 2 different styles, ragu, sage & butter & mushrooms & butter. We all enjoyed that with a local wine. Delizioso! During that time we talked and enjoyed each others company and learned about the Italian culture. The home was easy to get to by public transportation and the email communication between us and our host was prompt with all the information necessary. The evening was a time to remember and I would gladly recommend to anyone interested in traditional Italian cuisine and culture.
I spent a lovely evening in Martina's home learning to cook pasta and tiramisu. Martine was a wonderful and generous host, and very good company. Martina first offered an aperitivo and snacks, before we moved on to the cooking. The two pastas and tiramisu were both delicious. Martina gave some great tips on making perfect pasta, and shared lots of insights into life in Milan and surrounds. A very enjoyable evening, and great value. Highly recommended.
Received by a kind Mam living in Milan, we really enjoyed a cooking class of Italian pasta and tiramisu. After cooking we tasted raviolis, tagliatelles and tiramisu we made together with good aperitifs. It was really fantastic experience.
an extraordinary experience! Giuliana is taking care of her guests, it feels like home. Full of patience and very pedagogical, she taught us how to cook three typical Italian dishes. The meal was great!
The class was in the afternoon and was rich and entertaining, I highly recommend people who come to Milan as a culinary experience
A great afternoon, Sisi made us feel at home. We explained everything very well and together we made fresh pasta, gnocchi and tiramisù in the traditional way. Then came the relaxation, a delicious appetizer with affettati and Sicilian oil with a sparkling wine from Oltrepo. Then we tasted the dishes we had cooked, exquisite ☺️. We were so good that time flew by. And we were lucky that Sisi prepared us a package with fresh pasta and tiramisù q that we could enjoy at home! Recommended 100%
