Our tour guide Simon was wonderful and provided us with the best day at Lake Como! Train rides to and from Lake Como were easy and simple to navigate with the help from Simon. We prefer private one on one tours over group tours and this one did not disappoint. Simon walked us around showed us everything to see and took the ferry to Bellagio. Couldn’t ask for a better day and Simon was the best tour guide ever. If you are on the fence about this tour don’t think, just book it. Well worth it!

City Unscripted and our tour guide, Lisa, were both outstanding!!! Lisa made all the arrangements that I asked for to make our day personal and so we could see what we wanted to see of the lake and Bellagio! It was not a cookie cutter tour but a very personalized experience! We were able to have a ferry trip to Bellagio, explore Bellagio, have a private book tour of the lake, lunch and a tour of Varenna. Our day was perfect! I highly recommend Lisa and City Unscripted!!!

A great time - seeing Lake Como, being out on the lake in a boat, and also stopping at a small town port on Lake Como to go visit that town, see an old church, and have lunch with a great view of the lake and experience a wonderful example of what small town life is like living on Lake Como. Also, our tour guide Andrea was excellent and new a lot of information - not just about Italy but also many countries and took us for a wonderful personalized tour that was extremely worthwhile and a great time for our family.

My tour guide was Reza, and he was absolutely amazing! Being on a solo trip in Italy for the first time, not speaking an ounce of Italian, I knew I may face a couple of challenges. So when it came to touring Lake Como, I decided to book this private tour and happy I did. I couldn’t have expected the sheer amount of crowds and chaos that we would experience, and if I would have tried to maneuver through this alone, I most likely would have turned right around and left Como.
Reza had the transportation hashed out from the train, to busses and a subway, he had chosen some great landmarks to go see, and was able to think quickly and provide new suggestions when we experienced roadblocks where tickets were sold out. He was energetic, knowledgeable, and fluent in English so it helped tremendously that he was able to communicate with me and the locals seamlessly. I’m so happy I went this route, I learned a ton about the city and landmarks along the way, and took a billion pictures to remember them all.

Illy our your guide was exceptional. It felt like we visitors Lake Como with a friend. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. We saw places that a normal tourist would not have even thought to explore. She even helped us navigate the transportation strike that was pending for our trip to Venice. Highly recommend this trip.

Marco was absolutely amazing! Very kind and incredibly knowledgeable about everything we could have wanted to know. We got to see all kinds of wonderful things and ate the absolute best food. Myself, daughter and my daughter-in-law went on the lake Como day tour with our personal guide Shaine. Each place he took us to was beautiful. We never felt rushed at any of the stops. He was very patient to let us walk around and enjoy the town At Lake Como Shaine recommended we take a hike up to the lighthouse to see the whole city. He warned us. It was a strenuous hike and he was right. We all had a good laugh out of it as we stopped a couple times to catch our breath, but it was a beautiful view. I would highly recommend the hike. . Shane went above and beyond for us. Being that we were three girls by ourselves two of them in their mid-20s he wanted to make sure that we were safe and made it back to Milan without a problem. My daughter and daughter-in-law wanted to stay longer at Como so Shaine stayed with us to escort us back to the hotel even canceling his plans with his friends, so we weren’t left alone. I would not only recommend this tour, but I would recommend Shaine as your guide.

First time visitor to Lake Como and Massimo was a great guide sharing his insights and local area knowledge as we made our way on the lake and when we had certain stoppages. Have collected great memories from a brilliant day and will return one day. Highly recommend.

What an amazing day! My husband and I had the most wonderful experience with our guide, Sergei. He was informative, friendly, funny and overall an exceptional guide who took us throughout Lake Como for the day. Even with some train derailments, he kept calm under the pressure and figured out a new route for us, getting us home safely. The sights were beyond beautiful. We will definitely be returning.

We recently did a day trip from Milan to Lake Como and we are so glad that we did. This is a must do amd see area for anyone visiting northern Italy, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Our guide, Marco, set up the perfect itinerary for us including train transfers, breakfast, lunch, and villa tickets for visits. It was a wonderful and memorable visit that we will never forget. Marco made it easy, stress free, and offered lots of insight and information along the way that helped us truly get to know the area. We visited Varenna for breakfast and coffee and fell in love. Then took the ferry past many villages and stopped in Lenno which we fell even more in love with. This little village is straight out of Disney World or vice versa. Then off to Villa Balbianello and what a magnificent place that is. Another ferry ride to Como for lunch and to catch the train to Milan. It is so beautiful there and the people are so warm and welcoming. We would encourage anyone to visit if they can and get Marco to guide you!
