Departure by bus from Milan to Verona. Short rest stop along the way.
Verona is a beautiful and romantic city, a prosperous medieval town in its own and a popular tourist destination. The Roman Theatre is one of the most important reminders of the Roman history of the city. From here your friendly professional guide will walk you through the narrow medieval streets of the city, savoring the atmosphere of Verona’s many piazzas, before arriving at the famous Juliet’s House.
Your walk continues to the ancient Roman Arena. This impressive building still hosts concerts and operas during the summer, and you will walk on his two-thousands years old stones while your guide will tell you all the secrets of this marvel of roman engineering.
Take a look at Piazza Bra, Verona’s main square. Here your guide will give you the best insider tips for a typical lunch or on how to find the best gelato in tour.
Sirmione, which lies between the blue waters of Lake Garda and green olive trees, is undoubtedly one of the most romantic places on earth and its beauty has been praised by Roman poet Catullus since the early days. Visit the narrow medieval streets that burst with color and take a look at the moated castle.

Everything great 🤩👌the guide the boat trip really recommend very impressive a lot of interesting information
Mario was kind and funny!!! The tour was beautiful, boat is optional and I chose to climb the castle instead because of the waves. No regrets- absolutely beautiful. Verona is so romantic.
Long bus ride from Milan. Starts early… Tour guide was good but it took too long Verona was beautiful
Good representation of the city. I would recommend this to any one who is in Milan and wants to see this city.
Verona was better than Venice! Beautiful and charming. Lake Garda was also lovely and do pay the 12e for the boat ride. It’s worth it!! Monica and Andrea were the best!
Was amaazing!!! Specially about our guide Monica !! She did the diference!, very kind and showed everything to us with happiness
Great tour, everything was flawless. Only surprise was that we thought the optional hotel pick up was before and after the tour but it was before only and we had to find our own way back to our hotel.
Verona was beautiful and fun. Personally, I wish to have a longer time in Verona because lunch can take up all of the 2 hours free time. This caused us unable to revisit Juliet statue and town square. Simone town is very small, nice for a short visit of 1 hour. Doesn't need 1.5 hours.
An amazing trip to beautiful Verona and Lago di Garda. What made it even more the wonderful knowledgeable guides we had. Monica from Milano and local guide Andrea in Verona with all the interesting info given made this trip great
The tour was punctual and a full day, The bus stops and picks up a group in Bergamo (in our case a very large group). The guide provides headsets making the impact of a large group less of an issue. Verona is a beautiful city and the coliseum (plus inside visit) and Juliet’s house are highlights. If you choose to have lunch, there is limited free time to go up to Juliet’s balcony. Our tour guide in Verona, Andrea, was very knowledgeable and informative. We got more free time in Lake Garda. There’s enough time for a boat tour, Castle visit and a gelato.,,, or just stroll along the Centro Storico. Michel, our overall tour guide, was helpful, friendly and assured the group stayed together and everything ran smoothly. Her recommendation to try the “risotto amarone” did not disappoint. It was delicious. Overall enjoyable tour.
I’m glad I decided to book this tour. It was beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! You cannot go wrong with this tour.
Good day trip from Milan. Verona and Lake Garda is worthy the time. I recommend more time in Verona. Monica was a great guide and very reliable.
Verona and Lake Garda Day trip from Milan: It was a wonderful experience going to Verona and Lake Garda with our very knowledgeable and responsible tour guide Mario, and safe bus driver Hanas. Our local tour guide in Verona (I forgot her name) was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Lake Garda and Sirmione were stunning. Boat ride on Lake Garda was optional with added cash payment, and we are very happy that we took it, as it was an amazing experience. My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and we highly recommend it.
I highly recommend this tour!! They picked us up at the hotel at 6:15. The instructions said to be ready to go from 6:45 to 6:45. When we arrived at the central bus location, the driver was brief and said to get on the bus. But be aware that there are multiple buses. I originally was in the line to Venice, but I needed the Verona bus. The guide and driver were fantastic. Lots of historical info and local flavor of Milan and Italy. They were clear about the meeting times and where to be. They gave an emergency number Nd always had checkpoints to make sure no one was left behind. First stop gas station with full hot bfast available. Clean bathrooms, but quickly. Most people got croissants and coffee. Next stop Verona- the local guide here was excellent with 25 years of experience. Because it was raining they pivoted to a partial driving experience to get us closer. Great improvisation. Saw Julette’s balcony, her house, and the arena. They take you to a lunch place, but you should go on your own. The place was not the best. Next stop Lake Garda. Beautiful, clean. Definitely do the boat tour. Have 14 euros per person to skip the line. Best part of the day. They drive you into the heart of the oldest estate in Italy. Plan on a book or online game as the bus time is 4-5 hrs. The bus is a Mercedes and top of the line. You will need 50 cent euro for restroom in Lake Garda. I have been in 10+ viators and this is a great one for an easy way to do a day trip from Milan.
Great tour driver and tour guide is incredible. Lake grada boat is terrific will do it again when I come back Millan
The lake and the area around it were absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend this tour. Mario our tour leader was great and Andrea was amazing guide in Verona.
Our tour guide, Mario, from Zani Travel was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour and the subject matter. He was especially helpful at the end of the trip to contact the local taxi company to dispatch a taxi to pick us up and take us back to our hotel. Without his help to find us a taxi, we would be stranded because our U.S. cellphone could not make any call in Milan, Italy, local laws prohibit hailing taxis on the street, and we did not know where the closest taxi waiting areas were. Please pass on our many thanks to Mario.
Monica our tour leader and Francesco our tour guide while in Verona were knowledgeable and supportive. I also commend Davide for driving us safely. This trip is highly recommended.
This was such an amazing tour! Monica was our tour guide for the whole day. We started off by doing about a 2 Hour Drive to get to Verona. On the way we stopped at an AUTO grill for washrooms and snacks! This was so awesome. We then got to Verona and met our local guide Francesco, who did a two hour tour about Verona and gave us such interesting information and he was wonderful! We had about 45 minutes to do What we would like either some shopping, eating or get some ice cream and walk around. We then got back onto the bus to drive about an hour to Sirmione. This little town is right on the lake garda is absolutely beautiful. We had about three hours there -so you could definitely bring bathing suits and swim for a bit or you can just walk around the beautiful small streets, get some lunch with a beautiful lake view. It is absolutely stunning here! A beautiful walk around this little city with the gorgeous water. We also did an optional water boat tour which was €12. I would definitely recommend this as you get to see the beauty of the lake from the water point of view and the water is so clear! This was such an amazing day. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough.
Very fun experience and with an infant it was very smooth and driver was helpful with everything. Monica is funny and enjoyable guide, always making sure everyone sticks together when needed.
Tour was canceled 2 1/2 days beforehand so everything else was booked. They offered alternatives, but nothing similar and the same tour wasn't available until the end of the week.
Verona was beautiful and lake Garda was so refreshing on the hot day we had. Commute was very comfortable.
This was a great tour!!! Monica was outstanding. Fun, knowledgeable and easy to understand. Verona and Lake Garda is not to be missed you should definitely GO! The boat ride is a must!! Monica you made our day!!! Grazie
Monika is amazing, she delivers presentations that are concise into the point, and she is incredibly friendly and warm. Andrea was the tour guide who told us everything there is to know about Verona. This was such an amazing day, and we absolutely love this tour. We opted for the pick up at the hotel, but to expect people on vacation to be available within a 45 minute range is a bit unfair. I felt that the pick up could’ve been better organized and communicated.
This was a great tour of Verona and Sirmione on Lake Garda. In Verona a local guide gave a tour of historic sites and commented on history. I particularly liked the commentary on "Can Grande" (Big Dog), a Veronese historic figure. Then there was free time for shopping and lunch. There's great shopping and dining in Verona, which I never would have known about. Then we went to the Lake Garda town of Sirmione which is beautiful. Our guide, Monica, was really great and organized a boat cruise on Lake Garda. This was amazing and a highlight of my trip. There was free time for shopping and dining in Sirmione, which I greatly enjoyed. This was one of the best tours I took on this vacation.
The trip was good. Guide Nadzia (? Sorry for spelling) is absolutely great and very helpful. Driver and other guides are very helpful as well
We loved everything. Both guides were excellent. Andrea in Verona was very knowledgeable. Everything was well organized. The extra boat ride was a must. Very impressed.
Will definitely recommend this tour. The tour guide, Andrade, in Verona was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We had enough time to explore both in Verona and Lake Garda.
Beautiful town with lots of interesting sites cafes and stores to see but really overcrowded with tourists, specially the Juliet house. Next town visit to Simeone with Lake Garda was less crowded but not town was not as charming as Verona.
Everything was great. Monica our Viator tour guide was perfect, very knowledgeable and helpful. As well as Andrea - our guide in Verona. Both places- Verona and Lake Garda were absolutely amazing. Thank you Viator for this tour
To start the day the pickup was 30 mins late with no contact details to call them to see what was happening. All people in my group were told 6am pickup at their hotel. Not the best start. Verona was amazing, the guide there was fabulous. Then we headed to Lake Garda, there guide there not so great, just left us to do our own thing.
Great tour Verona is such a beautiful place as well as Sirmione great tour guide very happy with the whole experience
The tour was run very professionally and was bang on time at all points , Veronica gave good information and descriptions throughout and arranged boat trips in Sirmione , Katya was excellent in Verona had really good knowledge and had arranged entrance to the arena included
Great day out, tour guide was very informative and helpful. Verona, Lake Garda & Sirmione were all stunning. I'd recommend this tour to anyone. Actually I already did and they have booked it also.
Monica our tour guide from Milan including our local tour guide in Verona ( forgot his name ) were both very good . This is one of the tours outside Milan we liked and enjoyed .
Great guide! She was very informative! The local guide in Verona was also very good. I would recommend this tour!
Monica was amazing. We had a smaller group. She was so professional and treated everyone like family. I love her energy and kindness.
The guide Monica was very knowledgeable about the area and shared a lot of information with the group.
Our tour guide, Rosella, as well as our driver, Pablo, were very professionals, Rosella was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had another tour guide in Verona that conducted the visit, apologies but forgot his name, gave us a detailed explanation about the city and Romeo and Juliette story (main attraction of the city in my opinion). Lake Garda it's so clean and pristine, we took a boat ride (optional, payment in cash only) was worth the visit. The only downside is that I paid for hotel pick-up but was not mentioned it was only hotel tour departure point (one way).
excellent guide, spoke English well and was very knowledgeable. really enjoyed going to Juliette's balcony and visiting the amphitheater Sirmione and Lake Garda were great to experience
Fantastic tour! Verona is beautiful and this history is so interesting. Lake Garda and the town of Sirmione is breathtaking.
A nice daytrip and a beautiful experience. Good tempo, knowledgeable guide and a perfect oppurtunity to see more of Italy.
We had a great day on this tour. Verona was so interesting and we had nearly two hours of free time after the 90 minute tour. I was surprised how crowded the city was. Lake Garda and Sirmione were absolutely beautiful. We had nearly two hours to explore and most of us took the thirty minute boat ride on the lake, which was well worth it. I would recommend this tour.
Beautiful trip. Monica - our guide was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was well planned . We enjoyed the guided tour of Verona with Antonio, boat tour in Sermione organized by Monica. A wonderful experience.
A memorable visit to Verona - the market , the shopping district/ the arena … My husband & I had a beautiful alfresco lunch , with the view of the Arena de Verona & the Piazza… In our older age, saw the Casa de Guiletta … Lastly, visited Sirmione, a lovely town by Lake Garda.. What a lovely & learning experience it was !!!
The two guides did a wonderful job explaining everything. It was a memorable excursion. Verona is just beautiful!!!!
We had a great time on this trip. Verona and Sirmione were well worth a visit! The boat ride on lake Garda was a nice addition but it wasn’t made clear that it was a cash only payment. Other than that it was a good trip
Salvatore our guide was amazing! He gave an overview of Italy history and how the background and history of Verona and Lake Garda. The local guide in Verona was also very funny and made all the historical places come to life. The timing for the walking tour was just nice. He also gave interesting facts on the culture of Verona. Would be good to do some research before going to make reservation for lunch otherwise you would like end up in the queueing and all the places are quite packed during lunchtime. Juliet house was very packed. We took the optional ride at Sirimione which was fantastic. The view from the lake was fantastic. The skies were clear and every thing was beautiful! Towards to the end, the sunset was cotton candy pink skies~ the timing was just nice for the tour.
The local guide in Verona was superb. Andrea has an outstanding knowledge of Verona.. Made its history and beauty come alive . Had been to Verona before but this time I actually truly understand the city all thanks to him. He made the trip Was disappointed boat trip in Lake Garda wasn’t available- they canceled due to wind but when we got to the lake there was no wind at all. It was beautiful to walk through it though Overall the tour gave you enough time to appreciate both areas- it wasn’t rushed and that is a huge plus - you actually feel like you have time to explore and see each place !
