Jewish Guided Tour In Milan

An amazing tour of most of the major sites of Milan with a Jewish twist. In addition to seeing the synagogue, Jewish symbols on the Duomo and other points of interest in Milan were highlighted. My husband and I spent a wonderful few hours with Gali learning about and exploring Milan with a strong emphasis on Jewish life and history. Gali was an absolute pleasure to be with. We enjoyed this tour that was just over 3 hours. Gali was our guide and offered an excellent tour of Jewish Milan in the area near the Duomo, including a walk to the synagogue and a walk around the Duomo with relevant Jewish content identified. She provided information about the Jewish community from before they were allowed inside the city walls through modern times.

Nuki was friendly and knowledgeable and took time to share many interesting sights in Milan. The synagogue was a highlight for us! She really ensured we were comfortable and happy. Highly recommend!

In three hours that flew by too quickly, Gali gave us a fascinating and marvelous tour of Milan in English - focusing on Jewish history, culture and connections, and broadening the scope to include more comprehensive coverage of the city at large. She is very knowledgeable, and presented the information in an interesting, meaningful and delightful way that magically kept two grandparents and our 13-year old granddaughter engaged. We covered a lot of ground, and Gali was attentive to set the pace to accommodate the needs of all. Rinati had prepared us well with the details beforehand, and the arrangements all went smoothly. I had the best three hours in Milan with Gali, who was passionate and knowledgeable about Jewish life in Milan. As it was only the two of us (and Anna), the tour was intimate and time flew by so quickly - it felt like I was exploring hidden sides to the city with a friend. The tour also included a quick stop for a coffee, which served as an introduction to the coffee culture in Milan and a perfect interlude on a summer day. Highly recommend this tour!

The Jewish tour was excellent. Adi, our guide, was knowledgeable as she imparted so many interesting historical and cultural facts.The tour included architectural history and style from Gothic to Modern as seen on famous landmarks.Despite the heat, we enjoyed every minute of the tour, and we highly recommend it.

Gali is an amazing guide. She knows so much about the Jewish experience in Milan. Shared history of Milan before and during WW II, talked about her life in Israel and took us to the synagogue in Milan. She pointed out the Jewish carvings on the Duomo, the brass plates in front of residences where Jews who perished under the Nazis lived. We were three couples all from different parts of the world and by the end of the tour we knew so much about each other. Highly recommend on a visit to Milan!

Pace was much too slow and little information compared with numerous Jewish city tours I have taken. The guide’s delivery was not energetic. At over $200/person, this was not a good value.

Gali was personable, professional and very knowledgeable about both Jewish and Milanese history. Really two tours for the price of one! You will feel that your time in Milan was now complete!

Great tour. Really enjoyed being with Gali. She was sensitive to our needs and requests as we were with a 12 year-old girl as well. We would have liked to go to the station to see the memorial to the Jews of Milan lost to the Holocaust. But understood it was out of the central area where there was much to see and learn about. Definitely recommend this company.

Our private 3 hour guided walking tour of Jewish Milan with Renata was excellent. We learned so much about the history of the Jewish community of Milan, and appreciated how Renata wove the history of Milan and Italy with Jewish history. Renata, also, introduced me to Nutella Coffee. Never have I ever liked any coffee until our Milan tour with Renata. We highly recommend Mia Milano for touring in Milan. My husband and I joined Rinati for her boutique tour "Cappuccino". This was not another tour laden with history and details of architecture. Instead, it was an immersive experience of day-to-day life & the story of a neighborhood. We visited local shops, heard the stories of businesses passed down from one generation to the next, viewed & even sampled local merchandise. Rinati, a professional photographer, captured the special moments and presented us with a digital album of wonderful memories. Rinati's warm, bubbly personality was an integral part of the tour and created an atmosphere that was fun, personable, relatable, & authentic. Highly recommended!

Went with my husband and friends and we were the only ones on the tour! Nuki was very nice and informative. We thought that there would have been a jewish quarter or neighborhood to see, but she explained that they lived outside of Milan.

We had only one day in Milan, so I searched for a guided tour to provide a glimpse of all important sites in the old city. I found out that a whatsapp group led by Mrs. Rinati Dvorski was the best option, not only for her Hebrew speaking tourists but her efficiency of providing quick answers on any subject relating to tourist questions like hotels, taxes, shops etc. Therefore I choosed a 3 hours guided tour that was more than our expectation. We got a very thorough tour. we walked through many places, got a lot of information, with smiles and desire to show us the maximum. I really recommend selecting tours of the group

Exciting excursion to the city’s past and present from a less known side. Our guide Reuven Tzadik has a gift of storytelling and a great sensitivity to the participants’ needs. The tour took place on a really cold day, but we enjoyed every minute (not the least hot chocolate stop) ! Highly recommended!
