From Milan: Venice Full-day Guided Tour With Boat Ride

Wonderful tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience easy and fun.

A full day of Venice and just the right amount of time there. The tour hits the right highlights as you stroll the canal streets. Barbara was a wonderful tour guide and was very knowledgeable of Venice. Highly recommend!!

Venice in a day allows you to experience the highlights! The tour leader, Barbara, was very good! The drive is 3 hours to and from Milan with 4 hours of free time; therefore, it is a very long day! The history of the city is fascinating and the city is charming! Be prepared for crowds and a lot of walking and standing

Venice was beautiful and the trip was good overall. Unfortunately there was an issue with a male passenger on the tour getting aggressive towards a lone woman. She had done nothing wrong and he was being very rude and intimidating her. The Tour guide did nothing to help this situation if anything she had it worse by blaming the lady when she had done nothing and the man had started filming her. This left a very bad taste in the mouth for the whole day.

What a perfect day trip to Venice. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Each guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. The bus was clean & comfortable. It took a little less than 3 hours to get to our destination. Once in Venice, our guide entertained us with Venician history and stories. We had plenty of time to wander after our tour. Highly recommend!

Great day trip - our tour guide Ornella and driver Claudio were fantastic as well as our guide in Venice Marco. Lots of tree time in Venice to do your own thing.

The meeting place for the bus is on the north side of the hotel, not the front. If you reach out to the tour operator they will provide the license plate for the bus to make sure you get the right one. Long trip from Milan but we all enjoyed it. Might be interesting if this was offered as an overnight trip given the six hour bus ride.

Experience was great. Some details could have been stated upfront, such as the 30 euro cash required for the gondola ride.

The tour was good . The guide in Venice Federico was as excellent clear and very friendly. The bus was very comfortable and the boat was quick and safe. I would recommend the tour. Even though the tour guide had a valid reason for being late it would have been more appropriate to give the information of the inevitable delay before she arrived.

We had maya as our tour guide and klaud as our driver. Both were amazing, informative and very caring. Their knowledge and English speaking was also great. The tour is planned for you from the second you get on the bus. It’s very easy if you want the stress of travel taken away and to see Venice to its full potential.

Amazingly well timed experience! All that we did in a day would take some people 2-3 days to complete. I would absolutely recommend Maja as a tour guide for anyone looking for a top tier tour of Milan and Venice. She even sorted out for us to get a private gondola tour so we didn’t have to haggle. 10 out of 10 across the board!

Beautiful city but way too rushed and our bus and guide were not good; bus ride she mumbled unto the microphone and didn’t care that we couldn’t hear a thing.

If you want a satisfying taste of a splendid day in Venice, this trip with satiate that craving. It’s a packed day but it serves its purpose. The bus ride was comfortable with breaks for breakfast and bathroom. The guide led you so you’re not aimlessly walking around, still giving you free time. And the gondola ride was the highlight!! We ate at a random place and had the best seafood risotto ever! I had the best time!

Quite a long round-trip drive from Milano, but the ability to spend a good portion of the day in Venice made it completely worthwhile. I had the best lasagna and limoncello of my life at some little place in the midst of all the stores! Note: The boat referenced is actually a fairy to the main island and back. If you want to ride the gondola, that's extra paid in cash that day. I was fortunate I had enough euros to cover the four of us. (I think it was €30/person--Aug. 2026.)

With the Venice tour, we found this was the perfect way to see Venice in a day. We appreciated how comfortable the bus ride was and the fact that it was a small group of people in the group. The stop at the truck stop to use the bathroom and get snacks was an added bonus for the journey to Venice. As crowded as Venice was that particular day, having Didi as a tour guide made us feel comfortable with our surroundings. Didi was very knowledgeable and was able to help us in obtaining a gondola ride. This was the perfect way for us to see Venice and we felt we were able to see a lot in the couple hours of free time that was granted. For those not wanting to stay overnight in Venice or navigate the logistics of getting there, this tour would be perfect for you.

Long day; nice taste of Venice. Experience was lovely, despite very hot weather. Venice was more crowded than expected. Gondola ride was like in the movies.

The overall experience was great. We reached Venice early so it was still not too crowded. Later in the day, the place gets super crowded. However, we were done by 4.30ish so all is good. It would have been nicer to have a longer walking tour.
