We had the must enjoyable time which was made perfect by our wonderful guide , Sonia . She met our train & carefully guided us through Cinque Terra . She was mindful of what we wanted to do & led us as we wanted. She was so informative as to what we were seeing as we walked through the towns She allowed enough time to have lunch & shop. She then made sure we were on the right train back to Milan. She was wonderful !

This tour is pricey but to have a one-on one guide for Cinque Terre area was ideal for us. Highlights of the churches and how to bounce from town to town in five and a half hours. Easy trip from Milan and back in one day.
Loredana was a wonderful guide and ensured the tour was optimised for my wife and I. It is a long day given 3hr train trip each way from Milan, but definitely worth it. Having a personal guide compared to group tours is a much better way to see these beautiful towns and small streets. Insight knowledge, accommodating your interests, etc... certainly made the day extra special. Thank you again Loredana for making this such a special day.
My partner and I were exploring Italy on our honeymoon and decided to take a day trip to Cinque Terre to view the picturesque seaside community. The agency expertly handled booking our train tickets from Milan to Monterosso (and back), and Laura, our guide, was truly fantastic. She was fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, and French (very easy to understand), and most importantly, she knew every detail of the towns we were visiting, from which stairways and trails to take, to the best shops for local food and art, to the best places for photographs. She was able to speak of the history and culture of the towns expertly, and to give us an appreciation for how the land has influenced agriculture, architecture, infrastructure, and tourism over the centuries. We were able to visit 4 of the 5 towns (via the train and the ferry), all except Corniglia (which would have required quite a climb and extra time). Laura truly helped us to maximize the value of our limited time in Cinque Terre (the weather was also perfect) and left us wanting to come back to experience more. Three cheers for our wonderful guide--this experience was worth the cost.
We had an absolutely fabulous private tour in Cinque Terre with our tour guide Sonia. No way would we have been able to navigate between the 5 towns, seen so many sights and learned so much history on our own! Sonia made it so fun and shared so much knowledge of these charming fishing towns. She customized our route and asked for preferences so that we would get the most of our time there. We started our excursion with first class tickets on the train from Milan and even with this being our first time on the train, we had great communication with Sonia throughout ensuring all went smoothly. She always made sure we were comfortable with the pace of the trek throughout and gave us plenty of free time too to explore and enjoy the beauty of Cinque Terre. I would definitely recommend Sonia and this tour as it would be difficult to navigate on your own and see as much as we did in one day!! Thank you Sonia; it was perfect!
Guila was one of best guides we have ever had She is Knowledge A wonderful personality Extremely flexible in making arrangements when we wanted to change the itinerary She made the day
Our guide Mateo was fantastic, very knowledgeable and always bringing up interesting facts. We quickly established a game plan with that matched our objectives and he took care of everything. From where to buy the best local wine, to booking us a nice table with the best view in Vernazza. I strongly recommend it.
I can't say enough about Kiss from Italy and my tour guide, Matteo. From the moment I booked my tour, Kiss from Italy was helpful when I needed to change the dates and when my train was delayed, they helped get me on a later return train so I could get in my full tour - I really appreciated that! Matteo was an awesome tour guide - he was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative and made the day an incredible experience. It was a treat to be on the tour by myself - it was wonderful to be able to just have a day-long dialogue with Matteo to learn a great deal about this incredibly beautiful, special place. Matteo did a fabulous job of keeping us on track so that I didn't feel rushed or have to worry about where we needed to be at what times. I got a pretty full experience of Cinque Terre and covered a lot of ground in a day - pretty remarkable . I would highly recommend a tour with Kiss from Italy and Matteo.
We have taken quite a few tours throughout the years and this has been the tour we have enjoyed the most. Lore with kissfromItaly is not just a national recognized tour guide but she was amazing. The tour pace was great and we visited all the key areas in one day without feeling rushed. She knew the train, ferry schedules by heart. Lore made it great.
Sonia our guide was excellent. She was knowledgeable and very committed to providing a lovely tour. We enjoyed our day very much!
If you only have one day to see Cinque Terre traveling from Milan, we highly recommend this tour! You are provided with first class train tickets from Milan to Monterosso. Upon arrival Sophia met us as we disembarked. We were able to see the three main villages : Monarola, Vernazza, and Monterosso. We traveled by ferry and train. Sophia took us to a lovely, charming quiet restaurant in Vernazza for lunch and then to the best gelato in Vernazza. Her knowledge of the history of these villages and places to get the most picturesque photos Is outstanding. We could never have done this on our own as it is a 3 hr train ride each way to and from Milan. This was truly a memorable, relaxing, stress free way to see Cinque Terre in one day. Sophia’s love of Cinque Terre has made us want to come back again to this charming place in Italy!
Sonia, a young local lady as our tour guide was just wonderful. She made sure she will help us to have a great time no matter what is needed. And yes we did. We visited 4 out of the five Terre. We had to skip one due to weather issue. Sonia suggested a restaurant and we had a very nice lunch by the ocean. By all means, what a great time we had.
If you love walking this is for you. We took a train from Milan and met our guide with zero issues. He found us and we were off to see the towns. Lunch was amazing and the ferry back was a good way to cool down with a breeze and see the sights from the water. A good day of exercise and sight seeing to work off your pasta. 😋
Putting our feet in the cold clear water of the Mediterranean was great!l it was an extreme walk up and down all the rocks and stairs though!
Our guide for the day actually found us on the same train so meeting up was easy. We were able to walk through the villages. Lunch was delicious and right on time so we were able to stay on schedule. Lovely tour and definitely something worth seeing while in Italy. I suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing as it’s a bit cooler on the water than on land with the beautiful Italian sun.
Despite the rain, we enjoyed the day exploring the various villages. Each village is very similar so would have enjoyed learning more about 2 of them perhaps. It was a lot of walking and stairs!
Beautiful day! All went well thanks also to the guide Angelo and the driver whose name I don't remember. Well done, competent! I will be returning in September 2024!
