Really great experience with Giorgio who is an absolute wealth of knowledge. He was waiting to pick us up at the meeting spot 10 mins early, with a toddler car seat as requested. The museum itself was really cool but you honestly need the guide to get the most out of it. As a big fan of racing and cars this was a can’t miss. Not too much at the museum for a little guy (even one who loves cars) but it was still a great experience. Absolutely worth the money and really recommend Georgio.
Giorgio our guide was great very knowledgable, bright and interesting. The Museum was also great much more than we expected.
I bought this private tour for my husband's 50th anniversary. Our guide Giorgio was incredible. He is a walking encyclopedia in the field as well as having an engaging personality. He made our visit in the museum truly memorable. Highly recommended!
Our guide, George, was great. He was very knowledgeable about the Alfa Romeo museum and helpful with other information on our drive from and back to our hotel. We really enjoyed the tour.
Giorgio is a great guide, knowledgable and fun. If you like Alfa's its your place. Some wonderful cars and lots of history.
An awesome exhibit of fine automobiles and memorabilia. Guide was courteous, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.
Loved every moment .. Giorgio was very knowledgeable.. loved it.. pleasant person z it was worth booking this tour .. thank you
Great historical walk through of Italian automobile manufacturing and racing. The exhibition has a vast number of cars and very detailed with great displays and videos.
Guide did not have background in simple architecture. Needed to ask about sights rather than him just explaining Would tell friends to skip this tour
Great museum collection of AR cars from the different eras of the brand’s history beautifully curated. Would have been an excellent trip if our guide had been more proficient in English and not so reliant on his mobile translator. But he tries real hard and even bought us cuppacino at the end to top off our tour. Beware though the tour price only covers the round trip pick up/return and the guided tour and does not include the museum €15 per pax entrance fees
We had a great day out with Cicco at the Alfa factory museum. The museum is large with a huge selection of vehicles across the history of Alfa production. The staff are friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommended even if you aren't a car enthusiast, the designs are beautiful.
We booked a tour and Giorgio (unclear if this was actually his name) met us at the museum. My husband restores vintage Alfa Romeos so was very excited about the tour. Although we booked the tour in English, but our guide did not speak any English. Additionally, he did not know anything about Alfa Romeos. He would gesture and say facts clearly printed on the information signs throughout the museum. The only information not printed on the signs was his hatred of Fiats, which he claimed was a communist company. When asked if he worked or studied cars, he replied he sold watches. The museum is a wonderful experience but the guided tour was not remotely worth it and likely a scam. I would give zero stars but not an option.
Gorgio was great. And the museum is quite impressive if you’re into cars! Even if you’re not the beauty of some of the models is unmistakeable Enjoyed the trip with Gorgio - he pointed out a number of things on our way to/from the museum which made the drive like a mini tour!
George, our guide, was very knowledgeable on the cars, museum and the Italian way of life. Very funny. The museum was brilliant. It showcases Alfa Romeo’s racing cars from the beginning through their glory days of the 20’s 30’s 40’s and 50’s. Add to that their painfully beautiful road cars from the 50’ and 60’s (and my favourite from the 70’s the 2.5l V8Montreal) and you have an experience that you will long remember as a highlight of your holiday.
This is one of the best laid out and excellent motor museums you could wish to visit. Easy to find and lots of free parking available. It offers a wonderful insight into the Alfa Romeo marquee. You certainly do not have to just be an Alfa enthusiast to enjoy this place.
My wife and I visited the Alfa Romeo Museum with Enrico and we really enjoyed the time. He is well informed. He went the extra mile for us and we would recommend his services any time. Where he could not express himself fully, he used Google Translate. Paul and Daléne Schoeman
A great tour of the Alfa museum, our tour guide picked us up from the hotel and dropped us back. He came with us around the museum and was very knowledgeable and gave us information the whole time. We had a great trip and it’s the best way to get there and back as it’s some distance from Milan central. Thank you once again, we love our Alfas and it’s just a shame the Italian car industry isn’t like it use to be but this museum showcases what it use to be like.
Georgio was a wonderful host to a great museum! His knowledge of the cars brought the museum to life!
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the cars, which made for a most enjoyable tour.
Ask what the serpent on the Alfa logo have in his mouth ?! 👍🏼 Nice driver , fun conversation No rush Cool moment
Giorgio was fantastic. He picked us up promptly at our hotel and was extremely knowledgeable about Alfa Romeros. My son had a great time discussing all things AR’s and cars with him. It was a great morning. If you are a car guy, this is a must!!!
Georgio was very, very pleasant and knowledgeable. He met us in the lobby of our hotel. Drove us to the museum (very comfortable-not like driving in Rome) and explained the sights as we drove by on the way. Super knowledgeable about the history of Alpha Romeo and ALL the cars and engines displayed there. Then drove us back. What a great tour!
Giorgio was just the most amazing guide. He picked us up from our hotel , drove us to the museum and guided us round it. He was hugely knowledgeable and very funny. He was great fun to spend the morning with. We had a great time.
We have visited this after we had paid a visit at the Torino museum of automobile. That was amazing, but this one was even better. If you like cars, even a little bit, then this is a must see. Prepare that you will spend at least 3 hours to walk through. I especially liked the 1968 Carabo concept. I took 150+ photos, and perhaps I will buy an Alfa Romeo in the future...
I would highly recommend this tour. Giorgio was knowledgeable and entertaining. His English was excellent and his enthusiasm for the topic came across. He picked us up promptly and dropped us off where requested.
Amazing history with friendly staff. There is a nice cafe and a small gift shop. This is a small museum that emphasizes quality k over quantity.
Absolutely excellent. Giorgio collected us from our hotel and escorted us round the museum which is brilliant. Any petrol head will love it especially if you know Alfas. Could not recommend highly enough
Great guide great tour highly recommended. Very professional, on time very informative a good day for both of us
Very knowledgeable guide, very punctual and helpful. Fantastic museum and our guide was marvellous! Thank you!
Very good experience. We really liked the museum, although we wanted to see a model that was not there. And the guide, George, was very funny and experienced.
Wonderful the guide knows a lot and explained everything very well, rating very prepared also I was private
For lovers of motorsport and in particular those who are Alfistas, this Museum is a charm, with cars of various generations, from the so-called "normal" to the competition, military, etc. I was amazed and highly recommend. It is very easy to get to the museum from Milan, just follow the M1 line of the subway to the last station in the direction of Rho Fieramilano and there, walk 5 minutes to pick up and take the 561 bus, exit in front of the museum. I just wish they had more models exposed.
Foi um mergulho na história dessa incrível fábrica de automóvel italiana. O nosso guia Enrico foi de uma presteza fantástica. Conversamos muito sobre a história e tinha grandes conhecimentos sobre a Alfa Romeo. Adoramos o passeio. Recomendo
I like it! Despite the heat, a little excessive to my taste. Amazing museums. Monuments also very good and well preserved.
I visited this museum for a corporate event, but I have to say it was a great experience. Compliments also to the guides, the experience highlights the greatness and ingenuity of a company that has made the history of automobiles in Italy and around the world.
A super good experience. The guide contacted us via SMS and email the day before, to hear where we stayed in Milan. The next day he arrived at exactly 10:00 and picked us up at the hotel and drove us out to the Alfa Romeo Museum, where he also was a guide through the history and the various cars there before he again drove us back to Milan and set us off close to the center as we wanted. Giorgio was a fantastic knowledgeable guide, who also on the out and home trip told about what we drove because as well as about living in Milan. We highly recommend booking a private tour and then you can only hope that it will be Giorgia who is the guide:)
place full of details, very historic, for those who like cars is an excellent tip, the guide showed knowledge and gave important tips about the city too, as well as stories about the exhibited cars and the city tabem
