We stayed here Feb. last year. Sorry for the long-delayed review. ✌️😅 Spacious and well-kept rooms, complete with amenities, e.g., toiletries, minibar Easy check-in and check-out Nice selection of breakfast buffet Walking distance to a metro station I could not recommend the nearby restaurants and store. One of them tried to hack our credit card. Good thing our card was locked so they failed to use it. We were also nearly pickpocketed by random locals at the metro. Fortunately our valuables were safe. In general, always be careful of valuables wherever you travel. Still deserves 5 stars for this review because we had a comfortable and nice stay.

The hotel is a bit remote from the center BUT it's a minute walk from a metro station. Large hôtel, large comfortable room, very clean, quiet, and friendly yet professional staff. It has a convenient (a bit pricey) garage underground. The breakfast buffet has all one needs. Unless you wish to be IN the center itself, this hotel is a very good option.
Overall, our stay at the hotel was pleasant. However, I would like to highlight a few important issues regarding billing and credit card holds so that future guests are aware. Upon arrival, we were mistakenly charged €100 more than the confirmed booking price because we did not have our confirmation email available at that moment. Although the mistake was eventually corrected, it should not have happened. In addition, €842 was placed on hold on my credit card as a security deposit. On July 12, I paid my final bill in full (€842). Despite having fully settled my account, a substantial amount is still being held on my card many days after my departure. I have contacted the hotel several times by email, but responses have been slow and no effective solution has been provided. I understand that banks may require some time to release pre-authorized funds. However, when several hundred euros remain unavailable for more than two weeks after checkout, this can create a significant financial burden, especially for families traveling with young children. I would recommend that the hotel clearly inform guests in advance that a considerable amount may remain blocked on their card for an extended period after departure and do everything possible to ensure a prompt release of these funds. Better communication and greater attention to billing accuracy would greatly improve the overall guest experience.
The Stay offered excellent choice with a prime location (just beside metro station) with great value for money. The rooms are very clean and spacious ensuring a comfortable sleep. Amenities and housekeeping were well managed, contributing to a pleasant experience. Staff were friendly but could be a bit more attentive. Could not specifically understand the hotel policy where they could not store luggage for the day after check-out (all hotels offer this).
You can usually get a feel for a place by reading through the reviews, and most of the time they give you a fairly accurate idea of what to expect. The week before last I stayed here for a night, and honestly, I think the Google Reviews are being a bit dramatic. Yes, it’s not in the tourist centre of the city, but the neighbourhood isn’t bad at all and the hotel itself is genuinely solid. The staff are great, and I have to mention the breakfasts. One thing you learn when travelling is that hotel breakfasts often try to be all things to all people… and end up being beige in every possible sense. Here, there is a good selection, but if you’re expecting a full English or an American diner plate, you may find yourself staring at the buffet like it owes you money. Approach it with an open mind, though, and you won’t be disappointed. All in all, I’d stay again in a heartbeat no hesitation, no dramatic sighing, no scrolling through alternatives at 1am.
