Nh Collection Milano Porta Nuova

Considering the price paid (over SAR 10,000 / more than EUR 2,000) for a six-night stay in a 4-star suite in Milan (5–11 June), I expected a high standard of accommodation and service. Unfortunately, my experience fell far below what would reasonably be expected. The main issues included: * The room was noticeably dusty from the day of arrival, to the extent that we had to take anti-allergy medication during our stay. * The bed was unstable and uncomfortable. It initially had wheels on one side and wooden supports on the other. Although staff attempted to fix it, they simply fitted wheels on all sides, leaving the bed unstable. * The handwashing area was extremely small and poorly designed, resembling a sink in a takeaway restaurant. The metallic installation was unstable, with no practical space even to place a bar of soap. * The bathroom faucet continued dripping throughout the night after being turned off. * During our six-night stay, complimentary bottled water and facial tissues were not replenished until we insisted after the third day. This meant they were replaced only once during the entire stay. The tissues provided were damp, and the bottled water had a metallic taste similar to tap water, so we ended up purchasing drinking water ourselves. * Used towels were not replaced daily. Instead, housekeeping simply rehung the same damp towels over the bathtub. * I reported these concerns within one hour of check-in. The hotel’s response was an apology accompanied by a small box of candies, while none of the reported issues were meaningfully addressed or resolved. * Although the surrounding neighborhood felt safe, the hotel is located far from Milan’s main attractions, requiring frequent and relatively expensive transportation. * The sound insulation was virtually nonexistent. Even on the third floor, every passing vehicle could be heard clearly throughout the day and night. Overall, the accommodation and service did not reflect the standard expected of a 4-star hotel, particularly at this price point. The issues affected both our comfort and the overall quality of our stay, making the experience disappointing and poor value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, beautifully remodeled, and very comfortable after long days of sightseeing. What truly stood out was the staff—they were available and responsive around the clock, always ready to help with a smile. A special thank you to Samuele, who consistently went above and beyond. He was genuinely kind, trustworthy, and always willing to share thoughtful advice and recommendations that made our trip even better. The location is another major advantage. Situated in a key area of the city, it provides easy access to all parts of town and is conveniently close to train stations, making day trips and travel throughout the country incredibly easy. It’s rare to find a hotel that combines great rooms, outstanding service, and such a convenient location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic hotel, well situated in Portanuova district, which is Milan’s newish part of town. Within one block from Garibaldi train station (easy access to metro and regional trains) and one block from Corso Como (great restaurants nearby and shopping). Also, two blocks from Gae Aulenti and BAM, which is a beautiful park for kids with a great playground and splash pad. Accordingly, the location is fantastic for families with kids and who want a safe and beautifully landscaped area. As for the hotel, it is awesome. The rooms are large and clean. Beds are super comfortable with AC that works well. We got the breakfast option at the hotel and it was delicious with various hot and cold options. The coffee, croissants, fruit, and scrambled eggs were delicious. Overall a fantastic hotel, well situated, and well priced too. Great job guys. As the organizer of a travel group, I truly appreciate hotels that provide exceptional service, and this hotel exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, the hotel is spotless, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay. Every single staff member was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. They made sure everything went smoothly, which allowed us to fully enjoy our trip without any stress. A very special thank you to Samuele Pintus. He went above and beyond to assist me with almost everything related to my group. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made a huge difference, and I sincerely appreciate all of his support.
