The hotel feels quite dated and worn compared with what we would expect from a 4-star property. It has probably been a very nice hotel in the past, and you can still see traces of that, but today the overall standard feels more like 2–3 stars. The rooms and common areas are showing their age, and the air conditioning was not very effective, especially during the night. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was absolutely fine, and the free parking was a big plus. The restaurant connected to the hotel was, unfortunately, a completely different story. In our experience, it was poor value for money and honestly felt more like a joke than something you would expect alongside a 4-star hotel. As it appears to be operated separately, I would not judge the hotel entirely on that. Overall: friendly staff, decent breakfast and convenient parking, but the hotel itself needs renovation before it can really feel like a 4-star hotel again.

The hotel was likely a great one in the past. It has not aged well and many things in the hotel do not work well. The room air conditioning controls are not functional. The AC must be turned on from the front desk. The lighting control is not consistent either. Sometimes the lights won't turn on unless the room key is inserted. Sometimes, lights do not require the room key to be on but may not stay on. The AC is either off so the room is very hot, or is ON 100% so the room is quite cold. The bathroom light is motion triggered and cannot be turned off. So in the night, the night comes on in full brightness and that is very unpleasant. We stayed here with the Trafalgar Costsaver tour. It was not a good experience.
As a professional tour guide, I recently stayed at this hotel with a group of 80 people. I'll admit I was a bit concerned after reading some negative comments online, but the reality was the exact opposite. Everything was handled perfectly. Key Highlights: Service & Reception: The reception staff is incredibly pleasant and professional. They were fully prepared for our arrival, and the check-in process for 80 guests was seamless and efficient. They also went out of their way to assist with bus parking, which is a huge help for any tour operator. Rooms: The rooms are clean, tidy, and surprisingly spacious. Not a single person in my group had a complaint about their room, which speaks volumes about the consistency of their housekeeping. Breakfast: The breakfast was plentiful and offered a great variety. There was something for everyone, regardless of their dietary preferences, and everything was fresh. Location: The location is fantastic. There is a metro station just 500m away that takes you directly into the city center. Additionally, the surrounding area is packed with convenient restaurants and shops. Verdict: A solid 5-star experience from my side. It’s rare to find a hotel that handles large groups this well. I would definitely return and I highly recommend this hotel to both individual travelers and my fellow colleagues in the tourism industry.
Far from 4 star hotel. Parking lot (-3 level) stinks und looks rubbish. The room and hallway sauna hot, because of no AC. We were told to open the window to cool down the temperature in the room. But people were partying to late night. Absolutely no recommendation for this hotel. I feel really sorry on the other hand for the employee.
Absolutely horrible. The hallways are piping hot like a sauna, they have no A/C to cool down the temperature and the lamps wont turn on properly. We were declined when we asked to change the room or get a refund. The breakfast is below mediocre and the area is not most friendliest. The internet is very very slow. Won't come again.
