City Life Hotel Poliziano

Stayed here for two nights and unfortunately had a very poor experience. We were assigned a room at the end of the corridor on the first floor, despite the hotel not appearing to be fully occupied. The room was affected by severe mechanical noise that appeared to come from behind the wall or ceiling, possibly from building equipment. It significantly affected our ability to fall asleep, repeatedly woke us up, and left us exhausted throughout our stay. In addition, noise from people outside was clearly audible from the room. As we were staying only two nights, we initially assumed the disturbance was temporary. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred again the following night. The noise regularly appearing around bedtime, during the night, and again in the early morning hours. As a four-star hotel, we were also surprised that no complimentary bottled water was provided in the room. In addition, only one room key card was issued for two guests. Overall, a very disappointing experience that fell well below the standard expected of a four-star hotel. I would not recommend staying here.
