An absolute masterpiece of hospitality! From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded every expectation. A special shoutout to Mirna at the front desk, whose exceptional service, warmth, and dedication truly made our stay unforgettable. Stayed here due to its close proximity to the san siro to watch Inter vs Cagliari which was ideal because I had late flight so I had a smooth check in before heading out to the football. Breakfast buffet was fine as good as it gets really but I liked it. Was a short walk from the metro and local buses as well as supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Only issue I’d say is I was sleeping at around 2pm in the afternoon and was woken by a knock at the door. I ignored, but it appeared they tried to enter. When I went to the door it was actually a member of staff just inserting a note in the door regarding cleaning. Once it was explained it made sense but not ideal perhaps. Was given a complimentary bottle of water on checking out which was much appreciated. Would stay again. Stay April ‘26
We stayed for 7 nights. The staff is reallly nice and welcoming. We had trouble with the a/c in the room and they offered to change the room for free to a better room. At the bar Francesco is an amazing bartender really funny and welcoming he is the 11/10 of this hotel. In terms of worse things the location is near the metro but a bit far from the center, and the shower in the bathroom leaks a bit.
Our stay at the hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The staff were incredible, always smiling, kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. Even though we arrived before the official check-in time, they kindly gave us a room early, which we really appreciated. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.❤️
My son and I recently stayed at the Ruben’s Hotel for 3 nights, watching the Inter game on Sunday. It was a wonderful stay. For what we wanted, the hotel was perfect. The reception staff were all highly professional and courteous, the room was decorated and furnished well, and the bed super comfortable. The room was immaculately cleaned each day we stayed, and we did need some help from the housekeeping team one day, they were so friendly and kind. I particularly wanted to thank the receptionist who repeatedly checked my son and I were okay as we waited for a taxi back to the airport, and chased the taxi company for us. The care and attention shown was really so kind, thank you. The location … my experience, if you want to truly experience Milan this location is hard to fault. Yes you can stay in the centre of Milan, wake up and look at the Duomo with the tens of thousands other tourists, spend time in highly polished hotels and restaurants which despite the large number of people feel cold and empty. Or you can stay in a neighbourhood like this (wonderful) hotel is in, take the nearby subway into the city and visit the central attractions and shops, but then come back and experience a ‘home’ with so much heart and soul. A perfectly made cappuccino by a true artisan at Il Cafetero Speciality, watch your lunch being made at Pizzium - Via Rembrandt by such friendly staff, and afternoon walk around such a beautiful area with a gelato from Gelateria Rembrandt, served by the kindest people, and then and evening meal with a warmth of welcome second to none, and delicious food, at O Surdato ’Nnamurato… You could spend many days stumbling across bakeries, cafes, restaurants, then head back to the Hotel Rubens for the most restful night sleep. I have genuinely fallen completely in love with this area and the people!
