Private Detroit Pedal Pub Tour – A Top-rated Downtown Experience

Detroit Pedal Pub (Handlebar) is the best. You get to see parts of Detroit you wouldn't normally see. Our group was celebrating birthdays, and they all had a blast. Everyone we passed in Detroit wished them all a Happy Birthday. We will be back next year! Derek our driver was great!

Nyasia was fabulous! Her friendly attitude only added to our experience of our night and us trying a peddle bar for the first time. We lucked out getting her! She was the best! Not only did she pick the best playlist to listen to as we cruised down the streets of Detroit, she gave us heads up on pot holes, and added to our fun! We met up with Amira, the driver, she was fun, friendly, and professional. She was clear on the rules and directions of where we were going, as well as the time we needed to take at the stop for brunch! The tour around Detroit was interesting, and the weather was perfect for the event! We were expecting 10 people,but had 5 and it was still a great time, we made the best of it! I think this is a good experience for a fun friend group, family, birthday, anything with good vibes.

Great team building experience with a fun and exciting atmosphere. We booked a tour to take out folks after an industry conference and we couldn't have picked a better activity. It can be challenging to find an activity that fits well for everyone - but all our guests had an equally great time whether they were in their 20s or 70s! Our tour guide Jeff was amazing and hilarious. He made sure everyone was being safe & having fun. The tour was a great way to deepen our connections while giving our out of town guests the opportunity to see more of Detroit. One attendee said it was "the best after event they had even been to at a conference". Would definitely recommend to others looking to host a really great team outing.

We had a ball!!! I flew in from Nashville, TN to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends. Our driver was friendly, energetic and professional! We sang, rapped, and laughed! Drinks were served (my bartender was my nephew) sounds was banging (Dj was my sister)! We will visit again!!

Well to start our tour guide was over 30 minutes late. I was asking other tour guides for help. I then had to call The Handlebar Detroit and speak and leave a message. She then called me back and told me there was an issue with one of the bikes and that our tour guide was on his way. He did make an appearance 20 minutes laters. He apologized and told us we would be compensated our time. He tried his best to make our time eventful but unfortunately it was not the greatest. The speakers in the bike were blown and popping. The lights on the bike went out mid trip and it became a struggle to pedal for everyone. 1 of the locations we stopped refused us to come in. Then we loss power completely and had to wait for someone to bring a generator. This caused 4 people from my party to walk off the tour. Our tour guide apologized yet again and said he spoke with management , and stated the trip would be reimbursed. I hope this is true….

We had a great time on our ride! Sonia our driver was amazing and made the trip even more enjoyable. We got to take a few pictures and stopped at two bars and it was the perfect mix of being on the bike and bar hopping. Overall was a great time and will be doing it again!

We had Carrie as our Driver. She played the best music.. We had a great time, even though it was raining. Hit some different bars that I never been to. All around. A Great experience. Would recommend trying it out. Ask for Carrie. She’s the best.

The handlebar is an awesome experience. Tony's the best driver, he's super friendly and has a great time with us. We've gone twice to celebrate a birthday and it's fun to interact with the people downtown, especially before a sporting event. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time! Nick was our driver and is the man! 10/10 would recommend booking again! We rode from Shipping Company to the Skip downtown, then to the Brass Rail and back up Cass Avenue. The city was lively and added to the ambiance of the night.

Our driver Jamaal was great! We did enjoy the pedal pub. We went to the Tigers game on Saturday afternoon, and booked the pedal pub with the starting location at Tin Roof. We had 13 people waiting outside Tin Roof early, but the pedal pub did not show up. I called and was told the starting location changed to Detroit Shipping Co. This caused us to start 30 minutes late and spend extra money to get to the new location. We were not able to extend our time, which was sad as it was my fiancés 30th birthday celebration. I was disappointed in the lack of communication from the Handlebar regarding the starting point change.

My cousins and I were so excited for our experience - we were disappointed that our driver gave us no information about Detroit, even when requested as we had never visited the city before. At both stops our driver left us fro 20 minutes. The first stop - the bar couldn't serve us cause their machine was broken. The second stop the 5.00 margarita's were nonexistent. This experience could have been so amazing especially for tourists - I stuggle to even recommend it for jest pedaling and drinking.

Great experience seeing the sites of Detroit and the driver was super fun. 3rd time using them and have never been disappointed!

We had an amazing time on the HandleBar tour in downtown Detroit! Marianne, our driver, was absolutely fantastic—so cool and down-to-earth, and she was definitely a big part of why the ride was so enjoyable. Our whole group had a blast, and Marianne’s positive vibe totally elevated the experience. A highlight was our stop at Detroit Shipping Co., which added even more fun to the trip. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a truly five-star Detroit adventure! It was a little cold but drinking made up for it.

I made the reservation in advance, but unfortunately, the weather changed to rain shortly after. I reached out to inquire about a cancellation and was informed that cancellations or refunds aren’t allowed. Leading up to the event, we received several emails confirming our arrival time and expectations, which we followed closely. However, the biggest issue was that our ride didn’t begin until nearly an hour after our scheduled start / arrival time. My group of 16 arrived on time, in the cold and rain, only to wait with no communication about the delay. It was frustrating and disappointing, especially as the host celebrating my birthday. It would have made a big difference if the company had communicated that things were running behind and provided an updated start time. Given the no-refund policy, we had no option but to proceed despite the conditions, which started the event off on a sour note for me. On the positive side, our driver, Madisyn, was fantastic — she acknowledged the delay (not in advance, only when communicated to first), apologized, and made the rest of the experience really enjoyable. My rating reflects the lack of communication and rigidity in the booking process. With better customer service and transparency, this could have easily been an excellent experience.

We had the best time!!! We were celebrating a cousins bday and Nyasia was our driver! She did a great job picking bars we would like. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully get Nyasia as our driver again!

Couldn’t ask for a better driver or a better company. Everything went very smoothly and even though we had a rainy night she didn’t cancel on us but made the party even more fun! We also left some Polaroids on the pub and she mailed them back to us!! Great experience!

It was a fun time though it was pouring rain. Nick was great!!! He luckily picked a bike with the covers so we weren't getting too wet. We went to the Skip and the Well and spent some time at each but we were limited in time for going to the Well, we were given five minutes for that. Overall, great experience as it was my first time on a pedal bike. I would definitely do this again!
