Disappointing Stay, Especially for Our Anniversary Unfortunately, our stay was not quite what I expected, especially since we were celebrating our anniversary. Before arriving, I received an email stating that my room reservation had been canceled. I immediately called the hotel and spoke with someone at the front desk. I was placed on hold, and when he returned, he assured me that the reservation was still good and that he was not sure why I had received the cancellation email. Thankfully, our reservation was honored, but receiving that email created unnecessary stress before our trip. When we arrived, the front desk experience was not very welcoming. The staff member was not particularly friendly, which was disappointing when checking into a hotel for a special occasion. The room itself was decent, although it wasn't quite what I expected based on the booking. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the noise and smoking. Shortly after getting into the room, we could hear babies crying and loud talking coming from a neighboring room. We also noticed the smell of smoke, even though we were told the hotel was non-smoking. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay. We also made a reservation at the hotel restaurant. The food was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. We did enjoy listening to the live jazz band. Overall, the stay was just average. The reservation issue, unfriendly front desk experience, noise, and smoking took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing anniversary celebration. I appreciate that our reservation was honored, but I expected a better experience for such a special occasion.

About 10 of our guests stayed at Weber's for our wedding weekend and everyone was pleased. Clean rooms, a king size bed, a spectacular four head shower, bidet ,and a built in Bose system. Service was great throughout. We only did breakfast there, but the coffee and the eggs benedict were spot on. A solid, comfortable home base in Ann Arbor.
Really enjoyed our stay at Weber’s Boutique Hotel. It’s only four stories, but every corner feels stylish and thoughtfully designed. The restaurant is excellent, great food and a beautiful atmosphere. The room was comfortable, and the heated electronic toilet seat was a nice plus. Only downside: our NE-facing room overlooked I-94, so it was a bit noisy. Next time I’d definitely ask for a room on the other side.
The restaurant Brunch was absolutely divine! The salmon was my favorite and the London Broil brought a moment of nostalgia for me! The walk down spiral staircase from our room to the pool was absolutely unique and perfect for parenting from a distance! Getting to watch the Knicks win Game 5 at the bar with the live entertainment in the background was definitely a plus! Id love to stay here again for more nights!
Close to downtown and right off the freeway. This place was a great value for location and amenities for our mid week off peak stay. Rooms were fresh and updated within the last decade, perhaps. The hallways were a little more telling of the age of this place- though no complaints. Everything was clean and well appointed rooms! Check out the website. There’s a super cute 4 seasons pool, hot tub and sauna. There was also a ping-pong table, pool table, and fitness room. We took my parents to lunch at the restaurant. Everything was perfect- as usual. I’ve eaten here many times. I look forward to checking out the bar over the weekend sometime as they have live jazz in the evening. There’s a nice looking happy hour menu during the week. Book directly through the website for best rates! 10% off just for doing so and another 10% with their membership program. Well worth it!
