Great valet parking. Great check in. Huge and lovely rooms. We had a two bedroom apartment which was massive. Lovely beds. Short on towels. Definitely not enough so maybe a mistake. But from the start a great experience. Roof top bar lovely too.
It’s a gorgeous example of how to preserve a historic building while renovating and repurposing it into a dynamic hotel. The outlets were all amazing… all of them. The staff were all well-trained and pleasant, without being scripted. Aladdin Sabe stole the show but we enjoyed our experience at all of the bars and restaurants.
ROOST Detroit is in an absolutely beautiful building, and the location in the Book Tower is fantastic. The valet staff were excellent, check-in was easy, and everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful. What impressed me most was the management team. They were extremely responsive, genuinely cared about our experience, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled properly. That kind of customer service makes a huge difference and gives me a lot of confidence in staying here again. The building, location, staff, and especially the way management takes care of their guests made this a five-star experience for us.
ROOST Detroit completely exceeded our expectations! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by this beautiful apartment-style hotel. The architecture is stunning, the amenities are incredible, and our one-bedroom apartment was absolutely gorgeous. The modern furnishings made it feel luxurious and comfortable, while still feeling like a true home away from home. Everything was impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. And the staff?! Absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, especially Marissa at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were incredibly grateful that an early check-in was available for us, and they even surprised us with cookies! 🍪❤️ Such a thoughtful touch. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at ROOST Detroit. It was one of those stays where you leave thinking, “Wow… that was special.” We felt so comfortable, cared for, and welcomed from beginning to end. If you’re visiting Detroit, I cannot recommend ROOST Detroit highly enough. We absolutely loved our stay and will 100% be back! ✨🏙️❤️
Our Roost experience was a wonderful surprise when we recently visited Detroit for our first time. My wife and I have done a great deal of travel in our day and we can say that this was the single most comfortable stay that we have ever experienced. Not only was the property a magnificent example of period architecture, it was impeccably restored and immaculately kept. Our room, a one bedroom suite, was comfortable enough to have made it our pied-à-terre – unusually spacious with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom with walk-in closet and good-sized bathroom. It also had a stackable washer/dryer in the additional hallway closet, The property has excellent security considerations throughout, several restaurants and bars, and a very convenient downtown location. There's also an incredible french pastry shop named Cannelle, just a one-minute walk away. The concierge desk at Roost was always occupied by warm, polite, and competent people. They were happy to arrange for a car to take us to the airport at 6:00am when we departed. And finally, Roost is a remarkably good value!
