My stay included two rooms/2 queens/1 king. Both were accommodating, but more importantly --- clean --- which is paramount. I liked the suite separating the bed from the living area. It was small, but quaint --- considering my friend's two bed suite was a nice size. I only slept there so it was cool. The staff was friendly and accommodating --- another very important factor. I was overwhelmed (only by the thought), that there were 3 family reunions present, but the guests were friendly---which made the stay welcoming. I thought there was going to be a lack of this or that, but everything was copacetic. I typically don't eat from hotel breakfast bars, but the omelet and pancake station were a nice touch and with all the guests in the hotel the wait wasn't long at all. I had a few hiccups with my checkout sitch, but Toiya (manager) resolved it a few days later. I will def consider staying at this location when visiting the greater Detroit area again.

Came here for a business trip. Location is excellent and super close to the airport. Very easy to get to. From the outside, the hotel looks sketch, like how is this an Embassy suites?. All of that changes as soon as you walk into the beautiful foyer, updated, modern, and trendy with plenty of seating area, a Starbucks cafe, a bar. Room was spacious enough It was a separate sitting area from the bedroom. The kitchenette area had small refrigerator, microwave, coffee station but no sink. Breakfast was Excellent as is the standard at Embassy Suites. Made to order omelet station, various breads, meats, fruits, beverages. If you walk away hungry it's your fault. The gym had decent equipment with weight stacks, dumbbells, cardio. would stay here again if in the area
The best part of every Embassy Suites is the cooked to order breakfast. The omelettes for breakfast each day were delicious! 😋 And always give the chef a tip!!! He was great! Also the pictures on the walls celebrating Detroit's history with both cars and music was really special to see. I literally walked around to see more of the great photos that truly were art!!! Highly Recommended. Oh, and the free drinks in the evening were great too!!!
Stayed here for 2 nights and had a great experience overall. The room was clean, and the staff was genuinely kind and welcoming throughout my stay. The housekeeper was so kind when I had a minor issue with the room & took care of it immediately. The breakfast looked like it offered a wide variety of options, though I didn’t get a chance to try it due to fasting. The two ladies working at the bar really stood out—they were friendly, engaging, and still managed to stay on top of their work even while chatting with guests. The bar & evening social at this location are a good time to unwind from a stressful day. The hotel was quite busy, with a mix of business and casual travelers, which gave it a nice atmosphere. The only downside is that the property feels a bit outdated compared to newer Embassy Suites in the rooms, but is still better than almost every other embassy in the Detroit area at the time of this review. One minor annoyance was some noise from kids running through the hallways, but that’s more on parenting than the hotel itself. Overall, it’s a standard more upscale location and I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Detroit.
We stayed here the night prior to a flight. The room was fine, though the bathroom was a tight squeeze. Not sure what happened the night we were there, but came out of our room to a lot of people and about ten police officers. Nothing inherently wrong, but does feel like Embassy Suites isn't as nice as it was 15 years ago.
