We had the absolute best time on our trip to Raccoon Island! From start to finish, the experience exceeded all our expectations. The boat was super comfortable and not overcrowded at all, making for a smooth and pleasant ride across the water.Captain Spencer and his first mate, Zoe, were absolutely phenomenal. They were energetic, funny, and full of fascinating facts about Miami's history, the local islands, and the wildlife. Getting to explore Raccoon Island (Sandspur Island) and see the friendly, curious raccoons was an absolute brill and the major highlight of the day. Spencer and Zoe made sure everyone felt safe, welcome, and fully engaged.After our time with the critters, heading out to the sandbar for a refreshing swim in the water was the ultimate way to cool off. The crew even provided free water and kept the great vibes going the entire time with a bit of Billy Idol, AC/DC & other music. It is a fantastic, kid-friendly, and well-priced adventure that is completely worth every penny. We couldn’t recommend this tour more—ask for Spencer and Zoe if you go!"

Sandspur Island (Raccoon Island) is a small mangrove island in Biscayne Bay known for its curious raccoon population and natural coastal habitat. Guests step ashore for a short guided island walk where the crew introduces the raccoons and shares information about the island’s wildlife and ecosystem. Visitors can observe the raccoons up close, take photos, and explore the surrounding shoreline while learning about this unique local environment. The stop offers a chance to experience one of Miami’s most unusual wildlife encounters in a relaxed natural setting.
Arrive at Haulover Sandbar, one of Miami’s most popular shallow-water destinations. Anchor in clear turquoise water where guests can swim, float, relax, and enjoy the scenic surroundings. This stop offers time to cool off in the water and experience Miami’s vibrant sandbar atmosphere. Seasonal Experience Update (November - March): During the cooler months, our adventure features extended sightseeing past the famous Billionaire Bunker, more time exploring Raccoon Island, and a shorter, optional swimming stop at the sandbar. Guests are welcome to swim if they wish!

My wife and I had a great time in this tour! Our captains Spencer and Ren were amazing! The boat itself was clean and had all of the amenities you would need. A bathroom, bar with snacks and drinks, plenty of seating and plenty of speakers for the music. We were able to see a bunch of raccoons on our tour and then went swimming at the sandbar afterwards. Along the way they also gave us some great information about the animals, geology and history of Miami. We also went by billionaire island and viewed the mansions. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone
It was a fun afternoon, the raccoon island experience was amazing! Bring treats and lots of water to share with the raccoons!
Had a great time on this party boat was very chill, but they kept it interesting with sightseeing, music, and karaoke. The host I had were David, Zoe, Spencer. Raccoon Island was great! The raccoons were very friendly and not aggressive at all. David also showed us around the island and we seen a few other animals to include an iguana. We then enjoyed about an hour of swim time at a different location. And then on the way back, they showed us some more sites and we did karaoke. Sidenote the food was pretty good too. Be sure to bring extra cash or card for food, drinks and tips. Would definitely do this excursion again.
Wear some sturdy walking shoes for the island that can get wet and wear your swim suit. A hat and sunglasses for sure!

My grandaughter and I had a fantastic time on this boat trip. Alexander and Zoey great hosts very informative and great fun. Captains Spencer and Ren made everyone feel welcome. I did the optional guided tour of Raccoon Island with professional tracker Ren and saw raccoons right away. We also saw other animals and plants and some people laid out on the sand. Spencer had many interesting facts on the way and really got the party started on the way back. The sandbar was warm water and fun - they even provided huge floaties for us. Five Stars!!
Captain Hayes and Sophia made our trip incredible! They were so much fun and made this trip unforgettable for us. They were so accommodating in setting up all of our food and drinks. They both made sure everyone had a drink in their hand at all times. Sophia was constantly taking pictures for us so we could enjoy the moment. Highly recommend this tour. Make sure to request Captain Hayes and Sophia!
Big wow for us! The staff was super welcoming and kind! The trip went really well and the crew gave us lots of info on what we could see! Once on Racoon island, we were able to take a nice tour and feed/give water to the raccoons…we loved it! Then, the swimming on the sandbar was a highlight of our trip. Everything went well and the activity really exceeded our expectations! We recommend that everyone do this activity and hope you get to have Alex and Zoé as your crew! They are great!
