Xochimilco & Mexican Party With Guacamole & Unlimited Drinks

This was SUCH a good time! Our guide, Isa, provided the perfect combination of information and fun. We drank, learned about Xochimilco and its history, had a Guac-making contest, and had a great time! Our tour stopped by the Axolotl sanctuary and got to see real Axolotls and even got to hold some reptiles. 10/10 recommend!

We booked this trip with family and friends, and let me tell you, it was SUCH A VIBE!! 😍 My son (9) and daughter (4) had SO much fun!! They made the experience so enjoyable for our kids and kept everyone entertained the entire time! Roa and Tony were AMAZING!! They were soooo patient, friendly, and took the time to explain everything to us. And can we talk about the organization and communication?! IMMACULATE!! 👏🏼 Before we even arrived, they sent us detailed directions with PICTURES, photos of our guides (Roa and Tony!), AND a location pin to share with our driver so we could find the meeting spot easily! Everything was so well organized from beginning to end. You can tell it’s women led!!! Thank you for an amazing adventure.

My husband and I had an amazing time with our tour. Our guide Isa was helpful, hilarious and made sure we had a fun filled afternoon. She helped coordinate mariachi and steered us right through the busy canals of vendors. If you’re looking for a party vibe with great hosts, this is it!

This was the second time we have taken a tour with 2travel amigas! It’s the perfect tour for friends and family. They provide alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and the vibe is festive but just fine for children to join. I traveled with my 5, 20, 23 yo nieces. It was one of my nieces birthdays and they even decorated the boat for us! Cassie made sure it was a trip to remember!

This was one of the best experiences we had in Mexico City. It was really well organized as we were given the right amount of info and instructions before the trip. When arriving Naty greeted us and really made us feel welcome. She gave us all the history and cultural background while making it fun yet staying professional. This was so fun! The chaos of all the other boats on the water, people selling the wares and snacks, music, and varied drink options all provided a lively atmosphere. Our guide Alex was a delight. This was a really unique cultural experience. We learned about the surrounding town (only people born in the town can operate the boats) and we took the optional side stop to see the axolotls and other animals which was also worth it.

This was hands down the best CDMX activity! I would come back and book with Alex again. I didn’t know what to expect and it was so much better!!!

Our guide was Isa and I would highly recommend this experience as part of any trip to CDMX. Isa was highly knowledgeable and super fun. Nothing was limited and the guacamole we got to make was delicious. It felt like a party and we learned so much about the culture and history of Mexico and the river (and the creatures that inhabit it). It was well worth the cost. This was an amazing experience! This was my second time booking this specific tour and company and they are amazing. Yeyo was our guide and he has amazing energy and was so informational. We were stuck in traffic and delayed on making the tour and Yeyo arranged for us to be picked up at another port! I highly recommend him and this tour!

Naty was the guide for our tour. She was knowledgeable, and dropped some history on us alongside all of the drinks and snacks - this was a great mix of culture and festivity. Naty and her dad were incredibly friendly and my sister and had such a good time! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Our host Yeyo made this experience Super fun, unlimited drinks, the guac Contest was fun. And the sanitarium to hold all the animals and snakes just made everything even better. Highly recommend!

2Travel Amigas was a great tour company. Irina was our guide. She was very helpful explaining the area and the history of the area. But what stood out to me was all the different groups on our boat were very quite but Irina got everyone to break the ice and within 15min we were all family! Amazing experience.

This experience was great and very friendly! They serve snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, and water. Agry was my host and she was phenomenal. She was very attentive with everyone and making sure everyone was having fun. The vendors were also really nice. Mariachi was separate and you had to pay for each song, however it is optional. Many people on board the same boat will most likely pay for mariachi as that happened during my experience. You get to enjoy music and listening to the history/culture of Xochimilco. The guacamole making contest was super fun! I would do again with a bigger group for sure! Hopefully I have Agry again.

We had an incredibly fun time! Our host, Agry, was amazing. I was running a little late getting there, and she was very understanding and waited for me to arrive, which I really appreciated. By the end, it honestly felt like she was one of our friends because of how much fun we all had together. She was extremely helpful, made us any drinks we asked for, and definitely did not hold back! One of the best parts of the experience was getting to connect with new people and have fun together. I also highly recommend paying for a mariachi band if one floats by your boat. We did, and it made the experience so much more fun and was easily one of the highlights of the day. I would absolutely do this again. Thanks again to Agry for making it such a great and memorable experience!

I had SO much fun on this Xochimilco boat tour!! It was actually my birthday, and I decided to do this as one of my birthday activities, and I’m so glad I did because I had the BEST time. My tour guide Annie was phenomenal! She was so sweet, fun, and made sure everyone was having a good time. The whole vibe on the boat was just amazing. So many good people, good drinks, tequila, music, laughing, and just GOOD VIBES all around. I honestly met so many great people and had such a fun experience. It ended up being one of my favorite parts of my birthday and my trip to Mexico City. I would 100% do this again, and I definitely recommend booking with Annie. She really made the experience what it was! 10/10 experience. I had an absolute BLAST!!

Really enjoyed the boat cruise. All well organised and slick. Andy the local guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tequila and Mezcal drinks and cocktails were good, as was the guacamole. Would certainly recommend. We used the Metro & Tren Ligero to get to Xochimilco, and a short DiDi ride to the docks. Nice & easy, although about 90 minutes!

This experience was fantastic. We joined 7 others on a boat as a group of girlfriends. And it was a perfect celebration for 2 hours on a charming boat in the most local, fun way. We had a guac making competition, played games, heard mariachi, and delicious drinks. Cassie and her partner were so thoughtful and decorated the boat for our bday and cancer surviving girlfriends. I would highly recommend both 2Travel Amigas and this experience overall. It’s one for the books! One tip: secure a trip back with your uber driver and make sure you get dropped off at the right arch. It was difficult for us to find the right dropoff stop because of all the potential entrances and boats. Get there early to avoid making the others late. They were all gracious but that was the only mild hiccup in finding the team and group. Overall one of our favorite experiences in Mexico City!

Irina and Vlad were amazing, we had the best time! We booked on a Monday which was a bit less crowded than the weekend. There was a perfect mix of history and food and drink and animal refuges and music, etc. we would highly recommend!!

Cassie was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met her she was warm, fun and genuinely lovely, and she made the whole Xochimilco experience so much better than I expected. Everything was incredibly well organised, but never felt organised — it just felt effortless and fun. She was constantly making sure everyone was having a great time, had everything they needed and felt included, while still keeping the whole experience moving perfectly. She was thoughtful, helpful, funny and just an all-round wonderful person to spend the day with. Xochimilco itself is such a unique experience, but Cassie is what made it memorable. Our guide, Yeyo, and boat operator, Luis, were amazing hosts! We all get to know each other really well and they were both knowledgeable about the area and history. Yeyo made the experience very enjoyable and kept in communication leading up to the meeting point. The experience during the ride was so fun and couldn’t have asked for anything better!
