We were very happy with the information that Yair provided regarding the history of Teotihuacan! We walked away with a better appreciation of the archeological site and the ancient culture of Mexican inhabitants. Angel got us there safely and back. Thank you both!

Itinerary
The Pyramid of the Sun is the largest structure in Teotihuacán and one of the most impressive ancient monuments in the Americas. Built around 200 AD, it rises over 65 meters (213 feet) and offers a striking view of the surrounding Avenue of the Dead. This iconic pyramid reflects the advanced engineering and spiritual significance of the Teotihuacan civilization.
The Pyramid of the Moon is located at the northern end of the Avenue of the Dead and serves as a focal point of the city’s ceremonial core. Smaller than the Pyramid of the Sun, it is equally impressive for its symmetry and its connection to the surrounding plazas and palaces. The nearby complexes, including residential and administrative structures, feature intricate murals, altars, and open courtyards that offer insight into the daily life, rituals, and social organization of the Teotihuacan civilization.
The Citadel (Ciudadela) is a vast ceremonial complex in Teotihuacán, capable of holding thousands of people and likely used for important public and religious events. At its center stands the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, also known as Temple of Quetzalcoatl, one of the most richly decorated structures in the city. Its façade is adorned with striking stone carvings of feathered serpents and other symbolic figures, reflecting the religious beliefs, power, and artistic sophistication of the Teotihuacan civilization.

Excellent overall!! Very attentive and helpful
We were a group of 6 and we all had a great time! We met at the Condesa meetup point and were returned to the same area by the end of the tour. Mario was a fantastic and engaging tour guide and Omar was a fantastic driver! Our experience included free cafe de ollo and a spirit tasting. The tour of Teotihuacan was splendid. We ended it with a delicious lunch at La Gruta. We highly recommend this tour. Layer on the sunblock, bring a hat, and take water.
Great experience overall! Easy and on time pick up with comfortable transportation. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke great English. Perfect amount of history combined with adequate free time to explore on our own. Definitely don’t miss the option to add on the restaurant La Gruta! I’ve been twice and it’s still aesthetically one of the coolest restaurants. Definitely recommend!
The pick up was very smooth. The tour guides were very informative and helpful. Drivers were fantastic. Food was amazing. 10/10.
Great tour, the visit to the pyramids was smooth and informative. Be ready to walk and exercise while there. La Gruta restaurant was great, good food and ambiance! Best thing we were not taken to any tourist traps! Highly recommend this tour!!!
We booked this experience the night before. The bus was comfortable and had a/c. We got there on schedule. We had one short stop for bathroom break. It was a breeze to get in. The guides were awesome. I’m also thankful to them because we were late to meet them at Randy’s Donuts but someone still waited for us then drove us to the next bus pick up spot. The pyramids were awesome. It can be exhausting going up and down the steps. Bring water and a hat. We split into 2 groups English and Spanish. The Gruta restaurant experience was great as well. On the way back we caught bad traffic in the city so we didn’t get dropped off at our initial meeting locations but that was out of their control. Thank you to all the guides, staff and drivers.
Ruben, our guide was excellent. Really knowledgeable, fun and laid back made the whole experience memorable and meaningful. Our driver Brian was great too!
Excellent experience, visit and site. Our guide Ruben was exceptional, not only providing the full history but also fun and positive. Our driver Brian super also!
The whole team was great! On time , no tourist traps which I loved. Ruben our guide was really knowledgeable and well spoken. I really loved Teotihuacán it’s a place to behold! La cueva restaurant was really cool and food was good too.
Great guide, beautiful place, and well organized. We had a fantastic time. Thank you!
excellent service. I highly recommend.
Awesome experience. My family of six had a great time. Ruben was amazing.
This deal was great! Our tour guides Yair and Ruben were very knowledgeable about the history of Teotihuacan. We got to explore on our own for a little over an hour after the tour with the guide concluded. This gave us time to explore other parts and browse the vendors. La gruta was an amazing experience. Food was great and we were not rushed at all. Plenty of time to eat and enjoy our time. Would definitely book them for another excursion.
Excellent service, on time and very attentive. Ruben & Yair were very knowledgeable and answered questions. The drivers were careful and on time. Would recommend and go again.
We had a fantastic time with Ruben, oswald, and omar. They were so incredibly friendly and made us feel super comfortable during the entirety of the trip. My favorite addition was the fact that they went out of their way to let us know where the clean bathrooms were be. They made the entire trip super stress free.
Very great tour. The transportation there and back was easy and comfortable. Tour guide had amazing information. There was ample time at the archeological site. And the dinner/drinks in La Gruta (the cave) was a great way to end the experience. Highly recommended
A must see tour in Mexico City.
Excellent! And highly recommend.
The team had significant knowledge of the Teotihaucan, I'm glad we went with the tour. My wife and I had a great experience, we would no doubt book again. We learned so much.
This trip was perfect for my family of four. We have two kids, 7 & 8, who are fairly active in sports and were able to climb up both the moon and serpent pyramids. Our guide was great with the historical information. The whole family enjoyed the La Gruta cave restaurant lunch, which was a nice treat after all the walking and climbing. It's truly a memorable experience! I was concerned about booking after reading some of the other La Gruta reviews, but this was the best food I'd had on my trip so far. It's a bit pricy, but you're paying for the atmosphere, which you're not going to find in many other places. My oldest child returned to the hotel room and began documenting her adventure with drawings of the cave and pyramids. I think experience will become a core memory.
The transportation is comfortable and there are very good guides; my group had an archaeologist from Teotihuacan and he gave us a very good tour. However, they split the group between those who go to the grotto and those who return to CDMX, but they do not notify you of the departure time so that you can return to the bus for your things, and they leave them in the care of the other transport (so things can get lost) At the Grotto they give you very little time, only 50 minutes to be in the restaurant, and that is taking into account that there is waiting time to get to the table and to receive and pay the bill. We saw how they left 2 travelers behind because they didn't manage to get out in time.
The guides were very kind and provided a lot of historical information.
Everyone who was part of the tour, from the driver to the guides, was kind and approachable; they responded very well to questions.
