An amazing tour with lots of history and amazing food. Olin was extremely knowledgeable and gave a deep dive into the history of Mexico. You will see incredible spots and have fun and learn the whole time. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting.

Very enjoyable. Oline took us to various venues to enjoy Mexican dishes you can't find anywhere else. We had tlicoyo- a shoe sole shaped blue Corn tortilla with beans, cheese, and pork. Delicious and unique. We had another dish that featured a fungus that grows naturally on corn. Also, great discussion with the other participants about CDMX and south American history, geography, and a little politics. Overall, extremely enlightening. I highly recommend it.

Olin was a 5-star guide on this tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable and we loved learning so much about Mexican history -- both old and recent. And we saw so many historic and important sites that we probably would not have visited on our own. We weren't expecting to enjoy this tour as much as we did, but my wife and I both felt that this was one of the highlights of the trip.

This tour is so good.. Olin is a history buff and you will learn so much about Mexican history in a fun way, as well as eating some delicious food, different from the food we had on another food tour we did earlier in the week. We loved it!

You definitely need to take this tour on your first day in Mexico City. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Mexico City. We walked by many historic buildings and sites around the city. We went to a local markets and tried lots of local delicious foods and snacks. You will not leave this tour hungry at all. It’s a walking tour, so you will definitely do lots of walking. We finished this tour at a rooftop bar overlooking the ruins at Temple Mayor. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was great because it brought us to places we wouldn’t have gone on our own and gave us lots of historical information about buildings and monuments are the city. The snacks along the way were 100% and much more reasonably priced than other tours advertised as food tours! We were expecting a group and it was only the two of us so we got a private guide :)

We had a great experience. Bring your appetite and good walking shoes. Our tour guide Olin was kind and very informative. We learned a lot about the history of mexico and he helped us with tips on places to visit. We stopped at places to eat that I would never have considered but everything was delicious. We learned about Mexican spices, pulque, and even mexican candy. I would highly recommend this tour.

As a history nerd I SOOOO loved this tour!! Great food and I learned so much about Mexico Independence and Revolution. I even got recommendations for other sites for the remainder of my stay. Even the centro Sanborne was incredible! I think the revolution monument was my favorite but the end at the rooftop bar is a close second. Added bonus was the subway education so I don't always need to go to Uber when my feet are done for the day. :)

This tour company is really doing something special: delivering a fantastic tour that takes you beyond the usual spots, delivering history and culture and food in such a cool way. We have done a lot of Mexico City tours but had friends who had never been here, so we wanted them to see a lot of the Centro Histórico without boring us. We loved our guide,Olin (who runs the tour company and built the tour). The food stops were all fantastic and broke up the walking well. He was fun and informative. Food was great and off the beaten track, and the time flew by. We Covered a lot of distance but Olin accommodated my vision-impaired husband well. For the money, you won’t get a better tour!

We really enjoyed this experience, it is a view of how to live in Mexico City with a local. We tried different food and beverages which were amazing!! Ollin and Alice were very attentive and shared tips and recommendations to us. Will definitely recommend!

He took my family and me to hidden, hole-in-the-wall spots we never would’ve found on our own, where we tried some of the best, most authentic food we’ve ever had. This was a highlight of our Mexico trip. Olin is a great guide and he packed a lot into this trip! I really enjoyed all the small food places he took us too, including the best taco we had during our stay. We are so happy we chose to tour Mexico City with Olin! This was our first time in CDMX, so we started our first day exploring the city with the best tour guide. Olin is very knowledgeable, friendly, warm, and approachable. We had our 16 year old twins with us and he made them feel welcomed into the group. The tour truly exceeded our expectations. We learned so much about the history, food, and culture of Mexico. Additionally, he shared insights about CDMX neighborhoods and places to visit while in the city. The variety in the tour kept us intrigued. We wouldn't have taken the subway if not for Olin's introduction to the experience. Also, we returned the next day to a taco stand Olin took us to. This is one of the best cultural and food tours I have ever been on! Olin is a wealth of knowledge and his English is excellent. We got an amazing Mexico City history lesson, some really nice food and cultural tidbits, and had great time sampling some of the best Mexican street food in the city. This tour is a ‘must do’ in Mexico City.

Was in CDMX for the first time for my best friend’s wedding and wanted to make the most out of my 5 days. My friends and I wanted to make an effort to see the city outside of the wedding and Polanco where we were staying. This tour was recommended by a friend of a friend, and I’m so glad we took their rec! I ate food and saw places I would’ve never thought or known to look for on my own. As a foodie, the food spaced between our various stops was a major highlight for me. Each stop was delicious and stood out! Olin as a guide had great energy and gave me enough info to feel I learned a lot without being too overwhelmed to remember a single thing. The smaller group we had felt intimate and made the experience feel more personalized. I would go on this tour or another one of Olin’s tours again and would definitely recommend this experience to others visiting! This was easily one of my most memorable experiences while visiting.

Olin was an excellent guide. The entire experience was very well thought out. His blend of Uber local experiences mixed with tons of history of CDMX. I think it was the perfect way to introduce ourselves to the city on our first full day. I would highly recommend! It was an excellent value for the time spent.

Wow! I think everyone who wants to truly know what Mexico City is about needs to take this adventure. I also recommend you take this trip at the beginning of your vacation. Olin was an amazing host. His trip is very well planned and thought out. The trip gets better and better as you go along. Olin is very personable, funny and made the entire trip very interesting. His knowledge about Mexico and Mexico city is impeccable. He took us to eat where the locals eat and the food was amazing. Also, he takes care of everything. Truly all inclusive. Definitely a highlight of our trip. Olin is a wonderful guide—kind, funny, and extraordinarily knowledgeable. He took us to restaurants, market stalls, and street stands I never would have thought to step into, where we tried some incredible tacos, tlacoyos, moles, pulques, and more. I quite enjoyed learning about Mexican history and culture, including precolonial cultures, and I thought Olin did an admirable job introducing us to these subjects in a fun, engaging way. I also really enjoyed taking the subway and learning about the metro system. Even for the most seasoned traveler, it always takes time to figure out how to navigate a new city. Perhaps the best thing about this tour is that it breaks the ice around many of the things you may wish to do—try new street foods, explore the metro, etc.—and gives you the confidence to explore on your own.

Wow - this is an amazing experience! First you meet Olin for breakfast at a local cafe in a local suburb where there are no tourists. Then he takes you to a local market and you taste amazing food and candy samples. Olin is a great storyteller - about culture, history, geography. I felt that he showed us a slice of Mexico that is not normally exposed to tourists. We took the metro and walked around the Centro Historico. Olin would make recommendations about what museums or buildings to visit and what concerts were on. We ate amazing street food and tried various pulque that we would never have found ourselves. And we ended at a rooftop cafe

We absolutely loved our tour with Olin! Olin was incredibly informative and friendly! We loved exploring Mercado Martinez - the food and drinks we had there were delicious and authentic. Olin taught us about different kinds of peppers and chiles, and about the local food in general. We then traveled to the historic center where he taught us more about the history of Mexico and the revolution. The entire tour was authentic, enjoyable, delicious, and informative! Olin’s was very communicative before the tour, and his English is really great too. We highly recommend this tour!

I have taken several tours of Mexico City and this is my favorite one of all! Olin is a master story teller and shared many “behind the scenes” stories about various monuments and historical places in Mexico city. He took us to unique style eateries that had yummy, authentic food as well as cool vibes. We ended the tour at a roof top restaurant that had a spectacular view. I plan to take this tour again when I visit Mexico City.

There is a clear reason this guys has so many five star reviews - they are great hosts & clearly very experienced and thoughtful in making sure you are going to have a great time. You see a LOT on this tour because they make sure to pack a lot in. We really loved being able to see different neighborhoods, walk around, take the subway, and try different foods, all while the guide gave us some great history lessons. Hemanages the group very well. We actually started the tour earlier and still ended later than the tour notes, which we have zero complaints about. He seemed to genuinely just want to make sure everyone was having a good time learning about his love for Mexico & CDMX. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour!

This tour feeds the intellect as well as the body. The information Olin delivered went beyond what you’d find in the history books and the street/market food was also beyond what we would be able to experience on our own. Olin gave us wonderful “lessons” about Mexican culture ( always taught in shady spots) or incredible food.
