The Best Tour To Teotihuacán From Mexico City

Great from start to finish. Easy pick-up in a fairly comfortable van (we both managed to nap a bit on the way to the monuments). We stopped at a commune for a cool set of cultural mini-presentations on the various stones of Mexico, the significance of the agave plant, and a tasting of different types of Mezcal. Not something we would've booked independently, but I'm so glad it was included. The tour of the pyramids itself was fabulous. Susanna was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. She really helped us appreciate the significance of what we were seeing, and pointed out unique features we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Getting back to the city was easy too, and the restaurant we stopped at on the way was surprisingly tasty. All in all a great trip.

Everything followed the brochure. Easy pickup at location. Small group, interesting demo of local products (no pressure to buy). Knowledgeable guide (Suzanne) who shared info beyond just the archeological area (tips on food, restaurants, other areas in Mexico).

Susan was a fabulous guide. Would highly recommend. Come with water, sunscreen, umbrella if the sun is out. The only tour for the pyramids is about and hour and a half.

Wonderful experience for those visiting for the first time! Pickup from our hotel was very convenient and communication with tour staff was good. Our tour guide at the temple, Suzy, was so kind, warm and knowledgeable. Mari, at the obsidian/mezcal tour was full of energy, humour and was also extremely knowledgeable! The hot air balloon staff also went above and beyond despite our inability to communicate in Spanish. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour! Remember to prepare for a long day and bring anything you need.

The tour with Suzie was part of a wider trip with a hot air balloon and breakfast (so can’t comment on the price aspect). This part of the trip was great - suzie was a fantastic guide and super knowledgable! She taught us about the two types of temples and the city in general and gave us some time to climb the temple of the moon too. Would highly recommend!

The booking system allows you to select an available date and pay online, so I assumed my reservation was confirmed. However, several hours later I received an email/WhatsApp message saying that the tour was fully booked and that I could either change the date or request a refund. Telephone contact was chaotic, and the call was abruptly ended. After several WhatsApp messages asking about alternatives, I was eventually offered a date more than a week later. This was not an option because I would already have left by then. I therefore requested a refund, but I have still not received it and have had no further response. The whole experience has been very disappointing and raises serious concerns about how bookings and refunds are handled.

I booked the trip and was charged, but I received a text on WhatsApp the day before that the event was cancelled. I asked about a refund and was ghosted. I tried to leave a 0/5 stars but had to make it a 1.

The driver picked us up and drove about 45 minutes to Teotihuacan. We got very lucky with our tour guide Suzanna. She is a certified tour guide and her knowledge of history and anthropology is outstanding. If you chose to take the tour, ask for Suzanna, you are not going to regret.

Susana was an incredible tour guide! She has an amazing amount of knowledge and was able to answer every question our group had. What really stood out was how she explained things in a way that everyone could understand. She even gave us comparisons from around the world, including examples of the pyramids in Egypt, which really helped us understand the incredible size and scale of what we were seeing. Susana also took the time to learn everyone’s name and where we were from, which made the tour feel much more personal. She showed us some of the hidden gems around the site that we definitely would have missed on our own, and she knew exactly where to take us for the best pictures. But best of all… she’s from Michoacán! ❤️🇲🇽 That was the cherry on top! Susana made the entire experience fun, educational, and memorable. If you’re visiting the pyramids, I highly recommend requesting Susana as your guide. You won’t regret it!

Beautiful, great interactive tour!

Had a great time in our tour. The driver Ricardo picked us up on time and was exactly where he said to meet him. When we got to the first stop to learn about mezcal and the local traditions our presenter was very nice, funny and engaging. She said that she had just been doing that job for a few weeks. Unfortunately, I did not learn her name. Our pyramid tour guide was Susana and she was very nice and had lots of examples of other cultures and how they all interacted with each other.

Great tours within the package! At Teotihuacan Susanna was our tour guide and she was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable, fun and helpful. She also help my mother find places to perch as she couldn't climb the steps. Wonderful experience!

It was very fun and I was able to get alot lf great pictures! We were up there for around 45 minutes? I believe? it was very pleasant, even with my fear of heights(which I remedied by simply not looking down.) it was very cool, temperature-wise, with the occasional blowing of the balloon's torch warming you up quite a bit. it was a rather full but not too crowded in each segment of the basket. staff were nice and occasionally funny. a pretty much perfect first balloon ride.

Very fun experience! The balloon ride was smooth and everything was well-planned. My family felt safe and even one person anxious about high heights felt safe and secure. The snacks and tea was a nice welcome touch and the drone photos and videos were great! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
