We were Collected at the Hilton hotel by minivan. We were shown around the Mexico city by a great guide named Edgar. He was an excellent guide, telling us about the history of the city & the Irish Los San Patricios who helped Mexico during its revolution. His English was perfect. His content was factual & interesting. We learned how Mexico makes its Tequila. He guided the whole party through Teotihuacan site and kept us all together. Edgar brought us to a nice restaurant for lunch, where we had lovely food, served up by pleasant staff. Edgar finished up by taking us to the Basilicas of Guadalupe, which was a fabulous experience. The cost of the tour was very good value, with a full, exciting day out. Of course, the highlight was Edgar. We will be back again. Daniel & Peggy.

This host is very kind and very knowledgeable. The drive was great as the host kept us informed and safe the entire time.
MUST EXPERIENCE! This tour was remarkable. The bus was comfy with plenty of room and AC. The guide, Edgar, was super knowledgeable about the history and had funny dad jokes. The local artisans explained and demonstrated their work so thoroughly. And, of course, the pyramids were just awesome. The cave restaurant had immaculate vibes BUT, there was quite a delay, so be prepared to wait (make sure to snack before). We also visited the Basilica of Guadalupe. Unfortunately, we arrived too late to explore the old church buildings on the same campus, but still had a solid experience.
If you’re going to book this do not plan on doing anything else the rest of the day. As it was an 8am-7pm day. We got picked up at hotel Canada and there’s other people that book from other agencies waiting there too. Someone will come up and call out your name and then take you to your vehicle. Mine said it would be a black Mersadees van but it was white which is no big deal but just for others who are looking for a black vehicle it could be different. Also tour drop off won’t be at the same spot it will be in front of Barcelon hotel which is a 20min walk from the spot you were picked up. These are things I wish I would have known because I’m a Type A of person and just wanted others to know.
Edgar was an amazing tour guide. He was hilarious, kind and knowledgeable. Truly made this experience a great one. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our guide was great! His jokes were hilarious! He was very knowledgeable and courteous. I would recommend to my friends
Was not picked up. We here waiting from 7:30 am it’s now 10:04 and nobody showed up for us. I tried calling , emailed them and nothing. Super disappointed.
The itinerary shown is not how it truly is. We spent more time at the souvenir shop. Anyone would love to have the pyramid tour before noon, not when it’s at it’s hottest. I could have booked an uber to the site and meet the tour guide there and go to the basilica and finish it for half a day. Book a smaller and more focused tour is what I’ll advise or choose next time
This experience was amazing , very happy with Proferio Torres , he was very professional and took care of my family and I .
The tour guy, I think his name was Tony, was rude and not helpful, I don’t doubt he knows, but the way he explained things and answered questions wasn’t nice at all, plus we told him 3 times to separate the microphone from his mouth cause the sound was garbled and he didn’t…we thought the tour was a guided tour but we were on our own
Good experience. Guides were informative and we saw a lot of things in the time we spent with them, especially for the price. It was a good value for the money.
It was pretty much as we expected — neither spectacular nor bad. The van was new, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The guide was kind, knowledgeable, and shared some interesting facts. The tourist attractions were also as expected. The cave restaurant was a little disorganized when welcoming guests, but the meals were decent and reasonably priced.
The tour price totally worth the whole trip. Our tour guide is amazing. We took english tour. Just the cave restaurant, the food is a bit salty.
Very fun experience! Had a great time on the tour and would recommend it!
I travel all across the world and have been to dozens of countries and I can honestly say this may have been the worst tour guide I have ever had. He was rude and you could tell he did not want to be there or like his job. He got an attitude when asked to speak up because no one could hear him. Then, tour bus was over 25 minutes late to pick us up. We were standing outside in the cold waiting and got no apology or anything. To top it all off, we never even went to the cave restaurant advertised on the tour experience. On the contrary, the guide at the stop for mezcal and agave was absolutely amazing. Very excited to teach us about the Mexican culture I love so much. If only we could have replaced him for our tour guide. The pyramids were great, just not the best experience.
Very convenient Bus has ac People are nice Full day excursion and price is good We saw the city and the pyramids and everything is well planned
It was worth it if going to all the places Mary was great at the first stop. It was a little hard that our tour guide had two buses so we didn’t get to learn about the areas we were driving through. I really enjoy that on my other tours.
This was a great experience , loved everthinf about it. Guide tour and driver were very friendly . Totally reccomend this tour
Highly recommended. Worth the drive. Our tour leader Xavier made this experience enjoyable while teaching us about Mexico culture and history.
We had a wonderful experience! Our tour guide Arturo and driver Luis were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour fun and memorable. We learned so much about Mexico and truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend!
I have taken tours with Viator in the past and all have been wonderful. This one was a bit disorganized, no true communication and the drop off was not so good.
The tour destinations were great, but the organization was so frustrating. The tour guide was split between two vans, and the passengers of each were reorganized at every stop. It was just so chaotic and it seemed like everyone on the tour was annoyed by it by the end. I think a guide for each van would have been preferable and the day would have gone much more smoothly.
It’s a very nice experienced, had to meet other people from different country..the tour guide Amado is very friendly & entertaining..
Teotihuacan Tour with Basilica of Guadalupe & Cave Restaurant is definitely a must if you are in CDMX. Make sure you get in the tour with Edgar! Edgar was not any tour guide, he was very informative and knew his history very well. He made sure he gave us the chance to ask questions and to look around and he checked in with every single one of us. I will be checking out his other tours and make sure I book with him. His humor is great and he was great at making the whole group feel comfortable with each other. Edgar and driver, thank you so much!
Our guide was friendly and kept things fun. While I was concerned things would feel rushed, it was actually a very good amount of time at each stop.
Edgar was amazing! He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and super approachable throughout the entire tour. He made the experience fun and enjoyable from start to finish. His humor was definitely a little “dad joke” style, but hey—we bought it! 😂 Haha. Thanks, Edgar, for making the day such a great experience!
Very good tour. Highly recommend.
Great value tour with very funny guide. Recommend 100%
Thank you and great job Edgar. Very welcoming and nice tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and welcome at all times. Highly recommend taking this tour with Edgar in either English or Spanish
Too much time spent in shoppings, the 1st stop we made was at a craftshop, appreciated to learn about local craftsmanship but we spent too much time there and when we arrived at the pyramids it's already mid-day with hot weather. Among three pyramids we only got to see two of them and the most beautiful one was skipped because no enough time to check it out. The pyramid tour guy was eager to share his knowledge but fortunately all my peer travelors (total 20 of us in the tour bus, and I checked with 15 of them) CANNOT understand half of what he said. Then we got to the 2nd shopping site by the churches, the guide barely explained history and archeture significance of the place, we walked around for 30ish minutes by ourselves. It was nice that we eventually got dropped off at the same location of our pickup. But that was about it.
It was amazing to visit these historic sites. The tour guide was well informed and made sure the group was accounted for at all times.
I signed up for an English tour but was put into a Spanish tour group. The guide had to explain everything in Spanish and then in English. This took double the time and got tiring soon. We had difficulty understanding his pronunciation of many words since English was not his first language. He did try his best and judging by the satisfaction of the other people in the group, he was an excellent guide who put a lot of effort into his work. The tour itself was lovely and well organized. The Pyramids, Cave restaurant and Basilica were really nice.
We had an amazing experience from start to finish! Our driver was friendly, professional, and made sure we were comfortable all day. Our tour guide Mr. Amado was awesome—very knowledgeable, personable, and made the history of Teotihuacan and the Basilica of Guadalupe really interesting. The pyramids were incredible, and ending the day with a great meal at the cave restaurant was the perfect touch. Everything was well organized, and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend this tour! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great time and made some unforgettable memories!
Very professional. Marco was very experienced and very knowledgeable. The driver was excellent. I recommend it.
Our guide, Marcos, made this tour a great experience. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and always took the time to answer all of our questions. On top of guiding our group, he shared interesting historical information and made sure everyone stayed informed and involved throughout the tour. Highly recommend Marcos for a memorable and informative tour!
The tour was very interesting. Edgar, our guide did a good job at explaining things along the way. I would recommend this tour to others.
Amado is the best tour guide ever! He was extremely knowledgeable about every single spot he took us to. He was extremely nice and funny and valued our input. He constantly asked if we were okay, if we needed anything, and if we needed a break. He went above and beyond!
The highlight of our visit to CDMX. Marcos was friendly, entertaining, and informative. The driver was great and the van was comfortable. Perfect balance of guidance and time to explore.
Enthralling! Our guide was easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the history and mythology of the pyramids and the basilica. As a history buff this was great value for money to visit must see sights.
The price was affordable and reasonable. The guide was very informative and knowledgeable on the history and subjects he was speaking on. Highly recommend to anyone while visiting Mexico City.
We had an amazing experience from start to finish! Our tour guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made every stop interesting with great information about the history and culture. Our driver was excellent as well, providing a very smooth and safe ride, and the air conditioning on the bus was greatly appreciated. The Teotihuacán pyramids were even more impressive in person and definitely lived up to the excitement. The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe was absolutely beautiful and a very meaningful stop. One of our favorite parts of the day was lunch in the cave restaurant. The food was delicious, and it was such a unique experience. I traveled with my teenage daughter, and we both felt safe and well taken care of throughout the entire tour. Everything was well organized, and the itinerary was the perfect mix of history, culture, and fun. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City!
Our Tour with Sergio was perfect, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about history and culture of Mexíco. You have plenty of time to explore all spots individually as well. We decided to go with the cave restaurant and it was very nice the mole enchiladas were delicious. Highly recommend this tour.
Our day trip to Teotihuacán and the Basilica of Guadalupe was absolutely incredible, and Marcos made it unforgettable! He is knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, and has an amazing way of bringing Mexico’s history and culture to life. The tour was perfectly organized, informative, and fun from beginning to end. If you’re looking for an exceptional guide, I highly recommend Marcos. This was one of the highlights of our trip!
It was a long full day tour, although it is worth doing it! Our tour guide Edgar was so knowledgeable and explained everything about what we saw. He is caring and make everyone on the bus feel comfortable! Highly recommend Edgar! This tour is a must to do in CDMX!
Edgar was a great guide! It was a full day of activities. Definitely worth the money. The food at the restaurant was just ok and pricey, but everyone was super nice and it was a great experience. Would recommend.
This was a pretty good trip and easily worth the money since it includes entry. It wasn’t with a huge group of people which made it better. Our guide Edgar was great and made the trip what it was so shout to Edgar. Only thing I would say is the restaurant food wasn’t the best but still good.
Edgar was awesome and so knowledgeable about the history of all the places we went to! The driver and guide were so kind and we had a great time on this tour, definitely will recommend to anyone coming to Mexico City. Bonus, Edgar’s got a lot of jokes!
We had a great time on our trip. Edgar was funny, entertaining and very informative about all the locations we went too. I highly recommend this excursion to everyone.
Edgar and our driver Caballero were excellent! Edgar was funny and very helpful. Our driver was very safe. We loved the tour of the pyramids and the visit to the basilica. We had lunch at the cave restaurant. The restaurant was ok but a cool place to say you had a meal. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour. My family really enjoyed every moment. Thanks Edgar!
It was a great experience that Edgar provided. The day started with a fun vibe and the day continued with information for each site. The pace of the trip is doable for young and seniors.
